It has been years since Bree has spoken to her first love and high school sweetheart, Ryan Burke, but that doesn't mean she has forgotten about him. After all, it's not easy to put someone in the past when they are starring in Hollywood films and plastered all over the internet.
Making a living as an artist and small business owner with her best friend, Sandy, Bree enjoys her life and is proud of her accomplishments.
But when Sandy convinces Bree to attend their 10-year high school reunion, memories and old feelings for her first love throw Bree into an emotional whirlwind. With hopes of keeping those memories in the past, Bree reunites with an old high school crush for a night she won't soon forget.

My thoughts
I can't wait to read the others I purchased this on Amazon.co.uk
A 10-year high school reunion and a past love that has resurfaced. All Bree wants to do is go to her reunion and forget about the first hot love she once had and is now grazing the screen and magazine ads all over the country. The bulk of the story centered on Bree's memories of her past love with Ryan (how intense they were in high school and the love they shared.) You'd think that Ryan would've made an appearance early on, but he doesn't show up 'til the very end. Instead, this book is mostly one hot fling with a former classmate filled with hot, naked sex. I guess, this is all fine and dandy, if you're into that sorta stuff. If you want to learn what happens when Ryan finally enters the picture, you'd need to check out Reunion, the next book in the series.
This was an okay book. The writing didn't flow at times. I felt that Bree spent too much time insisting she didn't have feelings for Ryan anymore when it was blatantly obvious that she does. Because it was so obvioys, it made her hook up with Eric more of an afterthought.
The leading lady spends the whole 3 book series sleeping around with Ryan and eric. Even both in the same day. Little unrealistic for me. Doesn't mean you won't enjoy it though, just my opinion.
This was such a let down! The premise sounded promising. But the writing fell so so so flat for me. Beyond flat!
There was way too much telling and no showing. It was all she said he said. Or in this case, the name Eric was used in every sentence. Eric did this then Eric said this then Eric went here. I've never seen someone's name used so many times, why not add 'he' or another descriptive term.
I honestly can barley remember what happened in this book, the characters were so very flat and whiny! One dimensional characters, with such shallow emotions. We never get any backstory as to why the main characters mother is so annoying to her, accept that the mother wants to spend time with her daughter whom she hasn't seen in years.
Then there's the sex scenes which were also very bland and tasteless and at times anatomically awkward. It didn't flow very well, and there was no passion in those scenes. They were very clinical. I'm not sure why they were included in teh book besides trying to be like ever other New Adult novel out there which has sex scenes in it.
I feel like if there was more character development the book would have been more enjoyable.
This feels like a draft or an outline of the work, instead of the final product.
Not to mention it ends on the stupidest cliffhanger ever. Sounds like just another excuse to break up a whole book into parts in an attempt to make more money.
My first read by Madison Murphy about two high school sweethearts who choose different paths. Ryan becomes an actor and Bree owns a small business. There paths cross again at their 10 yr high school preunion party and the sparks and chemistry reunite. Had me reminiscing my high school years.
this book is actually pretty good. Althought I have to warn you, this book will generate a roller coaster of emotions, you will go from happy to the point were you which you was in from of the character and smack them real good, but yet its different and a good quick read.
It was good but I feel like it could have been included in with the first book. Just a way to get us to buy into the other 2 books. Not great enough for me to want to buy the next two.
A VERY sexy book!! I can't wait to to read the next two. I'll have to wait until they're at the library though. I can't afford to buy books. But this was a great teaser for the series.
I didn't really care for it. The story just kind of dragged on like. I like a story that the excitement just jumps at you. That's when you know it's going to be good.
