I'm not sure how to rate this book. There's just something about the writing style that didn't work for me. Sometimes it's too poetic, and sometimes it feels like I'm reading a historical romance. Also, the lines of Antoine (24) come off awkward at times, and that makes me cringe.

This is a novella and insta-love at its finest. Granted, the pacing will be quick, but for some reason, I didn't feel any emotional connection between the MCs. All I can remember is the glorification of the Cami's (19) innocence. Like, I really, really don't need that kind of double standard. Had I known this would be a virgin-manwhore trope, I wouldn't have read it at all. But I'm too stubborn to DNF, so I pushed through.

This is full of drama—a novella that seems like a soap opera. With a touch of deception from Antoine. Up until the 85%, I think, he still hasn't told the Cami who he is. And there's nothing more I hate than lying in my books. 

As for Cami, she's unforgettable; I can't remember much about her except that she loves photography.
 
Overall, I didn't enjoy it. Since my issue is the writing style, this might work for other readers. Maybe they'll appreciate it more than I did.

Sweet Stalker is a full-length standalone novel with no cheating or cliffhanger and complete with a happily-ever-after. A nicely done story with extraordinary characters and twisty storyline that captures your attention and keeps you engrossed and rooting for the characters. A quick fast paced novella with Camilla and Antione. The story is told from a dual POV. A contemporary romance, lust at first sight, insta-love, stalker romance, virgin heroine, billionaire romance, arranged marriage, forced marriage, pawn, sweet and steamy romance, romantic comedy, set in France, summer setting filled with secrets, lies, deception, lust, passion, hatred, abuse, greed, acceptance, survival, mystery, anger, emotions, tension, and love.
Camilla was orphan after her parents died, her aunt and uncle took her in. However, they've made her life a living nightmare and hell as they they physically, mentally, verbally and emotionally abused her on a daily basis. Because they have taken on the financial burden of caring her after the death of her parents they never let her forget how much she's costing them to take care of her. They told her that need all the money that they've sent on her since she came to live with them. So they've set up an arranged marriage for her with someone wealthy in order to be compensated. Camilla doesn't want to get married to the person that her aunt as arranged this marriage to. But she doesn't have a choice in the matter.
Camilla is isolated, lonely and feels unloved and unwanted she finds her escape through pages of her books. Camilla and her aunt and family went on vacation to France before she got married. While there she saw this handsome stranger that she was attracted to working at the hotel that they were staying at. She's always reading as no one talks to her and when they does it was to yell at her. Antoine's dad is the owner of the hotel and had him working to fill his time. Antione was a lonely young man and is grieving since the death of his beloved mother. He doesn't have any friends or girlfriend as everyone has an agenda towards him. The ladies is trying to get with him for wealth and guys wants him to help open doors or opportunities for them. After being burn by individuals he have decided to not let anyone know who he is.
Antione saw Camilla and was drawn to her and decided to he would learn everything about her before he approached her. So he starts stalking her and make sure go wherever she goes.
After building up his confidence he decided to approached her and they became fast friends and spend a lot of time together. He realized that Camilla was authentic and that she was the one for him. Camilla is enjoying herself with Antione and feels seen and wanted for the time in her life. Their chemistry is explosive and sensual and Camilla wants to give herself to him before she ties the knot. This is a decision that is her own and not her aunt's. The more time they spend together Camilla had that burning secret between about her upcoming nuptials that she knows will tear them apart. She wishes that she could go against her aunt and be with Antione but she has to pay back her aunt. When she told him about her upcoming arranged marriage he will do everything in his power to see to it that it doesn't happen and he gets Camilla. Will Antione be successful in ending the arrangement of the marriage? And if he is successful does he have to pay her aunt for taking her of her all those years? Or will the aunt and family walks away with nothing? Will they get their HEA?

Cami is in France with her aunt and uncle they have been her guardians since the death of her parents and they have made life anything but easy for her, but very soon she is to be sold to a man the last thing she expected was to fall in love, but that is exactly what she does when she meets Antione, he is like every hero that she has ever read about. But she is promised to another and knows that everything that she shares with him will end as soon as her aunt discovers their secret. Will Cami have a taste of a life that she wants and will it be cruelly ripped from her before she experiences real love?

Antoine can and has had everything that he has ever wanted from women to money but he wants something more and that is something is Cami, when he spots her lost in her book he sees something precious and when he introduces himself it is clear that she has no idea who he is nor that the hotel she is staying in belongs to him. This woman ensnares him from the start and when he discovers that she is promised to another he knows he will do anything to make her his but how will she react when she discovers who he really is and everything she thought she knew about him wasn’t true, will his secrets lose him what he wants the most?

I am a massive fan of Kate J Blake and I honestly cannot rave about her more. If you are a fan of Alexa Riley then you will love these books. 5* read

Antione is the young and handsome heir to one of the richest families in all of Europe. He could have any woman he wanted, except he desires real emotional connections instead of the men who befriend him because they want to be him, and the women that desperately throw themselves at his feet. He spots a beautiful young woman at his hotel and he knows he must pretend to be a lowly paid hotel worker to make sure she wants him for more than money. He’s never felt this way before and is determined to claim her as his, even if she is promised to another man. He won’t let it happen.

This was such a sweet, over-the-top, and steamy novella. It had a great plot and characters that it could have easily been a full-length novel. I loved Camilla and how she would sacrifice her happiness with Antione if it protected him. Such selfless love. I also loved how determined Antione was to ruin Camilla for any other man and make her stay forever! This was really cute with a great HEA.

Antoine has been a little lost since his mother died. His father is all business and expects Antoine to be the same. He has Antoine working at one of the family resorts to help out. While there Antoine spots a beautiful young woman named Camilla who he can't take his eyes off. He stalks her trying to learn everything he can about her. Finally he is brave enough to approach her and finds out that she likes him too. Antoine wants to make her his forever but then Camilla breaks the news that she is engaged to another man.

Camilla is unhappy. She has lived with her aunt and cousins ever since her parents died. They treat her horribly and make her feel ugly, unwanted and a burden. Now they want her to marry the man of their choice to make up for taking care of her for so long. Camilla agrees to the arranged marriage but wishes to have her first time with the man of her choice. Antoine makes her feel beautiful and desirable. She wants one night with him before she does her duty.

Camilla (Cami) is at a swanky French hotel and Antoine is a wealthy guy. I liked the way they met. He's 24 and she is 19. The heat in this story is intense. It's a sexy story and I loved the mention of books and how they are Cami's outlet. I identified with this as I use books to relax and as escapism.

I liked how Camilla's backstory was woven in. I identified with struggles with difficult relatives.

The romance was slow burn and then hot. I found the alternate point of view chapters helped the already great pace. I really wanted to find out what was going to happen to Cami and Antoine and Sweet Stalker was unforgettable.

This sweet and steamy novella had me devouring it in minutes because I loved these characters. Antoine has had a privileged life and is tired of all the fake that is out there. All those who pretend to be something they aren’t or try too hard to be with him or his friend to gain something drives him crazy, so when he first sets eyes on Camilla he knows instantly she’s real and his. He has to take things slow knowing if he pushes too much too soon he might push her away but the attraction and chemistry is off the charts. The more time they spend together the more they know that they’re meant to be, but Camilla has a secret that could destroy it all. Will she be able to walk away from a once in lifetime type of love or will Antione do everything in his power to make sure she stays? I enjoyed this and even though it’s a quick read it was such a sweet one that I wish we got more of.

I loved Sweet Stalker. Antoine saw her across the room and knew he had to have her, Camilla. She looked so sad most of the time but when she was reading everything changed. Her family was horrible to her and he mad it a point to introduce himself, she thinks he just works at the hotel but it’s more than that. When he finds out she’s in an arranged marriage he will stop at nothing to make her his. Camilla has never gone against her aunt but suddenly meeting Antoine she wants for a different future. Antoine makes good promises but she can’t let him get into trouble from her family. This was a sweet story and I loved the characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

I really enjoyed Sweet Stalker by Kate J. Blake. Safe stalker romance has quickly become a favorite troupe and I am always excited to read new releases. Camilla was promised in marriage to a man she has never met. But the moment Antione sees her at his hotel, he becomes obsessed with making her his and making her fall in love with him. But her evil aunt is determined to marry her off in exchange for payment and she is constantly reminding Camilla of what a burden she was and how much money it costs to take her in after her parents were killed. Can Antoine prove to Camilla they belong together and what happens when she learns his true identity?.

Sweeter than expected!

I was a little nervous about this one. Not a fan of TOO much angst. Thankfully, this one felt like it had just the right amount. Thank God I got to go into this story knowing there’d be an HEA!

The MMC sees the FMC and is instantly smitten. She’s promised to another (even though she doesn’t love him) and he is looking for something real, not based on his wealth and power.

There certainly was angst, but I loved how much they cared about one another and what they were willing to do for the other. Loved their characters!

If you’re looking for a sweet, quick read, this is a good one!

This was an okay read for me. It read pretty fast and the story had the potential to be interesting but there were just somethings about it that didn’t sit right with me. The title didn’t really fit, he didn’t come off as a stalker, even in the beginning. The setting really threw me off. I wasn’t sure where they were in the beginning and then I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. To be in the French Riviera her Aunt would have had to have some money so and that whole storyline never really played out. If they were looking to marry her off it seems like they would have kept a better eye on her. I don’t know just a lot of things that didn’t add up for me but it was an okay read.

This was a sweet instalove novella. Antoine is a heir to a hotel chain. Finding a woman has never been a problem for him, women flocked to him because of who he is. Camilla is a shy young girl who’s family berates and mistreats her. Antoine notices Camilla and begins watching her for afar. He felt like she could be different. Upon approaching her he is intrigued, she had no idea of who he is. He wants Camilla to know him as a person not as a rich heir. The problem is Camilla is off limits she is promised to someone else.
This is a sweet story about finding your person. There is betrayal, love, steam, dirty talk, and chemistry between the main characters. I enjoyed this short read.

This book takes place while Camilla is in the French Riveria staying in a hotel on vacation with her family. Antoine sees Camilla and immediately takes a interest in her. Camilla is sweet, innocent, and likes to read. Soon Camilla is escaping her family to spend all her time with Antoine. They both have a big secret they have kept from one another. This book is sweet with instalove, safe stalker vibes, short but steamy, and Antoine wants to be a hero. Everything is resolved by the end of this book, no cliffhangers. This book will leave you happy.

The prince and the commoner fairytale, but with all the feels and steam. The characters of Cami and Antoine are terrific, with great backstories, determination, understanding and protectiveness. The storyline starts with him secretly stalking her as he remind her of his mother. Learning about each other as he hides his identity, going to a secret library and spending time on a boat. Loved their chemistry and the hurdles, like her betrothed, they had to overcome right up to the all impressive ending. Loved, loved this book and will be rereading it again.

Absolutely loved this novella! Mega swoon worthy from Antoine who falls in love with Camilla who comes to stay at his family resort.
Antione finds Camilla refreshing as she has no idea who he is, and wants her to know the real him.
Camilla later tells him she is to be married (arranged) by her aunt who she has lived with since the passing of her parents.
They both fall madly in love but with the impending marriage looming over their heads, Antoine knows he must act quick if he wants to keep Camilla forever...❤️.

Camilla is with her aunt on vacation, waiting to be married so that she can pay back her aunt for taking care of her after her parents passed. Antoine has seen Camilla while he was walking through the resort and knew she had to be his, no matter what.

This is good story to read and one that is perfect when you just need to get away a bit. Cammilla and Antoine have a sweet connection and that sizzle. Their story has a bit of drama and passion that warms your heart.

They have mentally abused her talking about how much they have spent on her through the years. Antoine’s father owns the hotel and Antoine is extremely rich. Because women are always trying to trap him because of his wealth he lie to Camilla telling her that he and his family work at the hotel. So whenever he can he sneaks Camilla away from her family. Can these two find love under such miserable circumstances? Great novella.

This is my kind of book. Romantic. sweet, sexy and dreamy. It's a modern fairytale in disguise. But i it is the stalker part that caught your attention...well there isn't so much of that. Antoine is way more of a secret admirer that a stalker.

But I like him. He seems real and not like your usual entitled billionaire. It's incredible how someone can build a character up with some depth in such a short book.

Cami is sweet and relatable in a way, I don't think she is as well-developed in the book.

I love the ending and epilogue. It's kind of perfect!

This is such a sweet and romantic book. Camilla lives with her Aunt and Uncle who treat her like a burden and overlook her so she escapes into books.
She catches the eye of Antoine who stalks her over the hotel then comes up to her and chats.
They hit it off with chemistry right off..but Antoine doesn't tell her who he really is and Camilla is promised to marry another.
I loved reading their path to get together and their perfect HEA

This was such a fun and steamy read. I loved this novella. Antoine really is a sweetheart. I loved how he knew that Camilla was the one from the get go. I also loved how he fought for what they had from the beginning. They have drama, spice and a little bit of stalker tendencies, but it reads well and you won't be able to put it down.

An interesting new take on meeting the girl that has him obsessed with her sad beautiful eyes. Loved how each have their own secrets, but they have an undeniable attraction to each other. Enjoyed the sweet nature of the characters and the ending where Antoine proves to Camilla he’s willing to love her at any costs.

Great, simple plot, easy to read and understand from two POVs, with enough spice to liven things up! Perfect beach/holiday read.
