Babs is no stranger to the MC world. As an ol’ lady, she takes the hell that comes with it and dishes it out times two. When things take a turn for the worst, it leaves her questioning just how equipped she is for the hell she lives. She thought her marriage with Locks was it; that she had it all. But the past has a way of sneaking up and tearing life apart. Finding herself trapped as Locks’ ol’ lady, with the threat she will be his till the grave, her world spirals out of control. The only person risking it all to save her is the last person she thought would care: Bull.
President of the Devil’s Dust MC, Bull, is good at running women off and is even better at pissing off his brothers. When he sees the way his vice-president is treating his ol’ lady, he tries to keep his thoughts to himself. The one thing Bull insists on in his club is respect and loyalty: respect for the patch, respect for your brother, and loyalty to the club. However, after finding Babs in a harsh predicament after a run in with Locks, he can’t help but step in.

M.N. Forgy and Chantal Fernando are quite the formidable and dynamic duo. They are each other’s peanut butter to the other’s jelly. Not only do they both team up to give us readers two stories of goodie goodness to keep us readers satisfied, but they do it in captivating, heartbreaking, sensual style that will tug on your heartstrings and fire up your panties!!
Now I will be the first to admit that I have not read many of Chantal’s books, only Dragon’s Lair and Saxon, so I have no idea if Time And Time Again interconnects with any of her previous series…but as for M.N. Forgy’s The Broken Pieces Of Us, we all know who Babs is and her gut-wrenching fate in the Devil’s Dust MC series.
Both individual stories blended in nicely together as they both share some similar parallel themes of angst, sheer bad luck and painstakingly unfortunate events; as well as unimaginable twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Get ready ladies and gents!! These ladies have you in for a wild ride!!

This book actually contains to novellas from two of my favourite authors Chantal Fernando and M.N. Forgy :)
The first one it's called Time And Time Again and it features the story of bad boy Tag and innocent looking Clare.
I was so happy to be able to read Tag's story because I really liked the Maybe series by Chantal Fernando and I always wondered if there was a woman out there to tame Tag :D
The second novel is called The Broken Pieces Of Us by M.N. Forgy and it's part of the Devil's Dust series.
I started reading this one and could not go through with it. I've read the series and I know what happens...I know that Babs and therefore there can't be a . So I decided not to read Babs and Bull's story.
Sorry guys...

Time and Time Again
Chantal doesn't disappoint when it comes to the hunks of men that work in Reid's bar!
It's a case of insta-love but it not being realised. It's a story of two people being and living together and growing closer together than with anyone before they met.
It's a novella where my heart was in my throat, my emotions were tested and I hoped and prayed that Tag realised what a good thing he had before it was too late!
The Broken Pieces of Us
I am falling more and more in love with the Devil's Dust boys and old ladies! We stepped back in time slightly and got an insight into the mind, heart and soul of Bull, the MC's president. And what I found there was tormented and tattered throughout the story.
Choosing between love and happiness and doing the right thing by his 'brothers' isn't something that comes easy for him. His compassion and strength of character is tested throughout the novella as we see his unknown of daughter, Dani, arrive and shake the club up one way or another.
Babs is an old lady and has been for a long while. But she is fed up of being the doormat to Locks whilst he gets to play the field, lay the law down and put Babs' feelings last. They were young when they married. Possibly too young. But in her prime, the strong-willed woman found herself again and found true love with Bull. I loved her sass and her femininity in this otherwise dark, gritty bad boys world.
I loved their story. I hated what I knew was already coming having already read the series to date. I abhorred Bulls' reaction to it. But my heart warmed at the end as the circle hopefully continued with Babs' niece, Scarlett. I hope to hear more from her as the Devil's Dust MC series continues.

Time and Time Again
Clara and Tag's story is about getting over the past to actually have a future that means something more than who's going to be your next bedmate. Since the fallout with his ex, that's what Tag's life has been like - a revolving door of women where a release is provided but nothing else. He doesn't do relationships, and he has no desire for one until he literally bumps into Clara and his world goes on tilt.
Tag is there for Clara when she needs a little help; in fact, he goes above and beyond to help Clara by getting her a job and a place to live. He'll do anything he can to make her life easier except for give her the one thing she desperately wants - his heart.
Regardless of their connection and the possessiveness he feels towards Clara, Tag will not admit his true feelings for her, which might just end up costing him the woman he knows deep down makes him feel whole.
Time and Time Again is a quick and steamy read that although felt a bit rushed at the end illustrates what can happen when the right person enters your life as long as you're willing to open your heart to the possibility.

When I finished M.N. Forgy's The Scars That Define Us, I was left wondering how Babs and Bull hooked up and why they both were willing to risk so much to start up a relationship that didn't have a real chance of going anywhere due to the dictates of the club and Babs' VP husband. So, when I saw that their story was being published in Unsound, I knew I was going to get a chance to have my questions answered.
In The Broken Pieces of Us, readers get broken pieces of the story that is laid out in the first two books of the Devil's Dust series, but this time around, we get them through Babs and Bull's perspective. These events shook the motorcycle club down to its core, and it shredded relationships and showed the true colors of some who were considered brothers. But that's only part of the story. The other part centers around the broken pieces of two people's hearts who get a chance to somewhat piece them together, using one another as the glue, but due to circumstances beyond their control, they realize that they'll never get to see the finished product - a heart no longer broken.
I loved Babs and what she had to endure at the hands of her husband definitely had me cheering for his life to end. Bull is an interesting character. As President of a Motorcycle Club, it's hard to put himself above the brotherhood, but with Babs, he turns a bit selfish and takes what he wants, damning the consequences because Babs' circumstances needed to be changed, and he wanted to be the man to do it.
Babs and Bull's story may not have the ending readers want, but it's the type of ending that illustrates the gritty reality of a motorcycle club and what can occur when many lines are crossed.

NOTE: It was hard rating this Anthology with one book only getting one star from me but the other book getting all five. I enjoy Chantal Fernando's books, but this one I disliked very much, so I compromised and gave the Anthology three stars even though M.N. Forgy's book was five star all the way!

What a stupid story. I hate females that are doormats and that's exactly what Clara was! a fucking doormat. She was so desperate for Tag that she was willing to just be a piece of ass just to have a part of him. Where the hell was her self respect? She hated her father to death because of what he did to her mother but she sure as shit forgave Tag easily enough for his stupidity. I'm glad that he saw the error of his ways but the callous way he treated women was disgusting. This book was an epic fail for me...

So great to go back in time and read about how Bull and Babs ended up having their love affair. Why couldn't she end up with him instead of that psycho Locks? Even though I knew how their relationship was going to end, it was still super sad to see Babs go, especially knowing it was her own husband that set her up! It was fabulous reading from Bull's perspective as well, his emotional downfall after Babs death was so hard to read. I'm glad he found a purpose in helping the only other person that meant the world to Babs, other than him, her junkie but very beloved niece, Scarlett. I'm just really hoping that no attraction comes out of that, because one she's Babs niece and two she's young enough to be his daughter. Plus she's Babs niece, that would just be wrong. Bull has been very unlucky in love and I really do hope he eventually finds the woman that's right for him, preferably one that isn't crazy like Lady nor married like Babs....and closer to his age...please don't let it be Scarlett!

First let me start by saying i am a huge fan of both these authors.
Time and Time Again
I have been so excited to learn more about Tag. I FLOVE this book.
Tag Holy Hotness i Love Tag, he is seriously Hot, sweet and protective. My ideal man.
Clara is seriously down on her luck in life, that is until she meets Tag. I love Clara even though she has such a rough time she never feels sorry for herself, she just picks herself up and carries on.
I love these 2 together, there is instant attraction and chemistry there. Tag is not a relationship type of guy he is "Always Single" .
That changes with Clara and it scares him a bit coz he has been burned in the past. When he does mess up he ownd it and works his way back into Clara's life.
Chantal never fails to with her books!!

I love MC books and this is one of my favourites. This is Bull's book.
I hoped we would get Bull's back story.
You see things that happened in previous books through Bull's eyes. My heart breaks for Bull, He has lost so many people he cared for. i just want to get his HEA. He has to be strong as Prez of Devils Dust, but he has to come to terms with he found out he has a daughter his ex tried to set him up, the betrayal of his best friend, losing another loved one.
I hope we see more of Bull, his syory is far from over.

This was a perfect pairing in writing, because Chantal produces consistently great books!!
Chantal's Time and Time Again was just perfect, Tag was hot, steamy alpha, and Clara was sassy feisty and adorable. I loved the character Tag from Chantal's amazing Maybe This Time and This Time around and i was not disappointed when i read this.
Tag is a hot sexy guy with massive commitment phobia, he meets Clara, but can he change??? Loved it !!!!
I must admit that i haven't read M.N.Forgy's books yet, but after reading this i most certainly will, i really need to find out more about these characters!!
I Would have no hesitation in recommending this book to anyone, both stories worked well together and had just right amounts of angst and heartache !! love it !!!!

I'm a big fan of Chantal and loved loved loved Maybe This Time and This Time Around. In fact, Maybe This Time in particular is one of my books I can re-read to bring me out of a book slump. So needless to say I was looking forward to this novella and I wasn't disappointed.
Tag has always had a bit of a mysterious edge to him and of course we knew he was one for the ladies but in comes Clara and stirs something in Tag which he tries to fight to the bitter end. Clara was just a sweetheart who brought out the possessive side in Tag and once they got together their chemistry was amazing.
Great quick read with fab characters.

I received this for an honest review... I cant even say it enough how much I love M.N Forgy and Chantel Fernando. These two have become two of my favorites and to have them both in one book is absolutely perfect...

A short and sweet read with Tatooed Dirty Talker named Tag? Sign me Up I say. Believe me, you would want to read this. I loved every minute I spent reading this book. I could not put it down for the life of me. Trust me, it’s that good.
Twenty yrs old Clara had recently lost her job as a hotel receptionist, being the youngest and the newest in the job got her laid off. She started working at the hotel right off high school, so her resume did not look promising. After a couple of interviews, she decided to walk around town to find any business hiring. Down on her luck, Clara was hungry, with only $50 left in her name and was losing hope. Until she bumped into a sexy stranger named Tag. When I say bump I mean bumped. She lost her coffee all over her shirt, being sorry and a caring guy Tag was he offered her the shirt he was wearing. But no matter what kind of vibe or attraction they were feeling about each other, they kept everything on a friend zone. At the same time, they spent most of their time together, watching movies, hanging out and going out. They talked a lot and enjoyed each other’s company, but the more Clara got to know Tag the more she was falling for him. Yes he may be rough around the edges, but he is the sweetest guy she’s ever known and if it wasn’t for him she would have been lost and back at her parents house she hated so much.
Everything was as good as it could be with the two friends, deep down Clara was hoping for so much more with her Tag. She knew Tag was attracted to her, he told her himself. But he also made it clear that he can’t give her what she needed and their friendship means so much to him to put on a line. So she back up…or did she?

So get yourself ready for this before you start reading. Because it will either make you cry or pissed, but in the end you will still like it.

A short and sweet read with Tatooed Dirty Talker named Tag? Sign me Up I say. Believe me, you would want to read this. I loved every minute I spent reading this book. I could not put it down for the life of me. Trust me, it’s that good.
Twenty yrs old Clara had recently lost her job as a hotel receptionist, being the youngest and the newest in the job got her laid off. She started working at the hotel right off high school, so her resume did not look promising. After a couple of interviews, she decided to walk around town to find any business hiring. Down on her luck, Clara was hungry, with only $50 left in her name and was losing hope. Until she bumped into a sexy stranger named Tag. When I say bump I mean bumped. She lost her coffee all over her shirt, being sorry and a caring guy Tag was he offered her the shirt he was wearing. This novella is Tag’s story its super quick but I always wondered when Tag the sex god bartender would get brought to his knees.
I always knew that Tag was a real sweetie but he’s absolutely adorable in this story, he’s the perpetual bad boy player going from girl to girl and I wasn’t sure if he would ever settle down.
Clara is incredible sweet too, she comes across really young and innocent but I liked the backbone she has hidden under all of that niceness lol.
I think this totally could have worked as a full length novel, I would have read it!!!
This story is super short, super sweet and left me gagging for the next book in the series to come out.
Time and Time again gets 4 stars from me.

God this book made me sad!!! Poor Bull and Babs I love that they found each other.
When I read The Scars That Define Us I cried like an idiot and this novella had me welling up as well!!
This is an unconventional love story in a violent and hateful world. I hate that things ended the way they did but I’m also glad that they had each other.
This novella is a great companion to the series as it gives both Bull and Bab’s POV for the whole series so far.
Babs and Bull feel like the mom and dad of the group and all the Biker Boys and Dani and the girls are their kids lol.
Scarlet is only really mentioned in passing so it interesting that Bull reacts the way he does to her. I wonder if she will make an appearance in the next book in the series.
Overall this is a bittersweet story that I liked but that just really made me sad

Their marriage is over and she is ready to move on, but he refuses to release her. When Bull the president of the club offers her a job, she accepts it. Now she has a purpose and the feelings she has had for Bull begin to grow. Both try to deny them because she is still married but as time passes neither can stay away from the other. Babs decides to reach out and take whatever happiness she can with Bull.
Bull is the Prez of his club and he follows the rules. He finds himself questioning some of them when he sees the hell that Babs is living in! When he offers her a job at the clubhouse it is out of a selfish need to help her as well as the club. Things between them are intense especially now that she is around every day. How can he protect Babs and at the same time stay true to his club? Not break faith with his brothers? Bull needs to find out who is after the club and find a way to stop them. Is it possible that they have a snitch inside the club?

Looking for a fast read that covers the bases of sweet, spicy, hopeful and angsty? Unsound may be right up your alley. Time and Time Again features commitment phobic Tag coming to the rescue of sweet but desperate Clara. Can he play the role of white-knight without being able to promise a happily ever after? The Broken Pieces of Us focuses on Devil's Dust MC Bull and tough as nails Babs. Bull has made sure his boys live by the rules of the club but what happens when he breaks rule #1 - falling for his VP's old lady Babs?
What I Loved: Unsound is a quick, well-written read Its two stories feature interesting couples with solid chemistry and serve as an interesting yin and yang. Time and Time Again gives one dose of sweet/swoon with The Broken Pieces of Us giving a balancing dose of heat/angst.
What I Didn't Love: When I think of an anthology I tend to think of a strong common theme or some link that runs through the stories written by different authors. I would have a liked a stronger connection between Time And Time Again and The Broken Pieces of Us.

I am a little bit torn in writing only one review for both stories so I am going to separate them and write separate reviews :)
Time and Time Again by Chantal Fernando
I love Chantal Fernando and her books so it was a no brainer whether to read this short story or not. And I loved it :) Tag is the ultimate scary bad boy that your mothers always warned you against. On the other side he has a tender and loving side which mainly shows up around his daughter :) He is putty in her hands and will do everything for her. And exactly that makes him in ways so much attractive :) He also shows his romantic side when he falls so hard and so fast for Clara :) Clara, on the other hand is completely closed off and carries demons from her past. That's why it takes her so long to recognize the feelings she has for Tag :)
In a few words the story is sweet and romantic with a bad boy twist ;) So in my opinion it deserves 4.5 stars :)

It was so heartbreaking to read their story. It was definitely not what I expected to happen. The writing was intriguing and it pulled me in after the first few words. Even though it was difficult to reach the end of the story, I just couldn't stop reading. I was still hoping that something will happen and there would be a HEA. Well, in a way there was a small HEA but I was still in a way disappointed that it wasn't Bull and Babs'. I suppose, I am just a big sucker for the fairy tale endings. That's part of the reason I am so torn about my review. The writing was really god but the story in itself wasn't exactly my kind of story. That's why I think I will give it a 3.5 stars rating.
As a whole the anthology is really good. No matter what your tastes are, I am sure you will find something you will like :)

Unsound is a great anthology and fans of Chantal Fernando and M.N. Forgy need to make sure that they pick this one up. I will note that for M.N. Forgy’s book The Broken Pieces Of Us, should be read after reading the other books in the Devil’s Dust series or there will be spoilers for the first two books. Personally I loved seeing Bull and Babs’ story and even though I knew what would happen from the previous books it still broke me in two. I know for me, I wished I could go back and rewrite what happens so that we get that HEA for them. In Chantal Fernando’s book, Time And Time Again, you watch how one accidental meeting can set the course to so much more. How finding that right person can fix all the things that are broken inside of you and as long as you open your eyes happiness could be standing right in front of you.
I love both of these authors and can’t wait to see what else they have in store

Forgy’s book The Broken Pieces Of Us, should be read after reading the other books in the Devil’s Dust series or there will be spoilers for the first two books. Personally I loved seeing Bull and Babs’ story and even though I knew what would happen from the previous books it still broke me in two. I know for me, I wished I could go back and rewrite what happens so that we get that HEA for them. In Chantal Fernando’s book, Time And Time Again, you watch how one accidental meeting can set the course to so much more. How finding that right person can fix all the things that are broken inside of you and as long as you open your eyes happiness could be standing right in front of you.
I love both of these authors and can’t wait to see what else they have in store

Four Stars
This is a great anthology written by two really good authors.
Chantal Fernando continues Maybe This Time series with Tag's story. He finally meets someone who may actually be the one he can commit to. Clara falls for Tag rather quickly mostly because he seems to be her knight in shining armor but she struggles with his fear of commitment. I enjoyed reading Tag's story because I had read the other books, which I do recommend.
M.N. Forgy brings us Bull's story from What Doesn't Destroy Us. I loved Bull and Babs from the first two books so I was excited to read more about them. These two have great chemistry. They are working toward their HEA after much heartbreak and disappointment from previous relationships. Much like real life though we don't always get what we want when we want it. This is a story about a good man that falls in love with a good woman. Unfortunately she belongs to another man that doesn't appreciate her and may not even love her anymore. Reader beware; there is an ugly cry moment! I think that always makes for the best story though!

Time And Time Again = 3 STARS
It was good but I didn't like how short it was. I wanted her to resist him but she gave in too easily. I wanted more drama but there wasn't much because it was short. Happy ending though which was good...compared to the second novel.

I was enjoying the novel, it has the right amount of drama. I was loving it, as well as the writing style. I like the story flow and the characters. I like the plot a lot so I was excited to know how the story ends, but I was disappointed, that's why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4. I stopped reading the ending for awhile, or sometimes depending on the novel, so now I think I have to go back and read every single ending instead of diving into the novel and end up disappointed. I didn't expect Bubs to die, I actually thought that she was still alive and that Prez just left early or something...

A fascinating and unique view of MC club life and the people who are the Clubs' family.
A fascinating unique view of day-to-day life within one MC. The club's members often have intimate connections with nonmembers such as wives, children, extended family and friends who have no knowledge about the Club other than participation in special events and parties when invited. Club membership is generally limited to men who have proven themselves to be "worthy" to become a "Brother." Each member's first loyalty is sworn to the MC, but in return the Club assumes responsibility to protect and assist each member's outside family.
The interaction between all of these different people who hold a variety of different priorities is fascinating. An example is that promiscuous women can hang out with Brothers at their club house while their close family members are discouraged from doing so.

Ada dua judul novella dari dua pengarang berbeda. Saya suka judul pertama karya Chantal Fernando. Ringan dan romantis. Ceritanya soal cewek bernama Clara yang hampir jadi homeless ketika dia kehilangan pekejaan. Kemudian dia bertemu dengan Tug yang membantunya mencari pekerjaan dan tempat tinggal. Ceritanya simple dengan beberapa drama yang langsung diselesaikan.
Sementara cerita kedua karya M. N Forgy agak membosankan. Saya gak tahu apa inti ceritanya. Cuma bisa baca sampai 3/4 cerita aja. Mungkin saya kurang tertarik dengan cerita club geng motor. Dengan aturan aneh dan gak masuk akal.
Saya gak ngerti kenapa 2 novella ini dijadiin satu padahal punya tema cerita yang beda. Apalagi 2 cerita ini jomplang. Yang satu ringan dan enak satunya lagi membosankan. Paling gak ada satu cerita yang bagus.

I had previously read the two Devil's Dust books so I was excited to read Babs and Bull's story. They were two of my favorite characters in What Doesn't Destroy Us and The Scars That Define Us.
Plus, M.N. Forgy is one of my 'one-click authors' so I was buying this anthology no matter what!
Is it a sad story about love and loss? Yes.
Does it have sexy bikers and steamy sex? Yes!
Do I think you should read it? YES I DO!
My opinion: I recommend reading the first two books first so you get to know Bull and the guys in the MC and you know the story line.
I cannot wait to see what happens next with the Devil's Dust!

Tag is a typical guy been hurt by love in the past and refuses to give it another shot so decided to sleep around. Clara seems a nice girl who left home due to family problems after being fired from her job, she goes for a coffee and bumps into Tag who finds out she needs a job, so he gets her one where he works since that meeting Clara took a fancy to him and wanted to fight it but couldn't, unlike Tag after weeks off fighting he comes up with a solution to the problem and does a deal with her deciding to move out of the place there share she moves into another but after a surprise trip to see him causing heartbreak.

Both stories in this book are great reads. The Broken Pieces of US by M.N. Forgy is great. This story is part of a great MC series. It fills in blanks left in the other 2 books about Bull. I love the character Bull so this story was a great read. I would of bought this book just for this story alone. I have all the books by both these authors so it worked out really well for me. Time and Time Again by Chantal Fernando was also a great read and is part of a series. I love Jag and was hoping he got is own book but he got a short story that was still a great read. It was on the short side but was still a great read. Rated great over all

So good
I think this definitely deserves five stars. These authors worked hard, obviously, to provide short stories that were captivating! If you love biker stories, this will definitely keep your interest. These two stories are quick reads and so worth it
