Born and raised in the middle of a Midwestern cornfield (not literally, that would be weird), I’ve spent my entire life imagining stories. Stories where the right guy always gets the right girl, first kisses are as magical as they are on the big screen and anything is completely possible if you believe.

Although this journey began years ago, it recently took on a whole new life. After years of devouring hundreds of Romance, YA and New Adult novels, I had an epiphany... I should write a book. And I did it!

If I’m not reading, writing, enjoying drinks with my amazing group of girlfriends or chasing around a sarcastically funny kid, I’m probably watching television shows that were created for teenagers, while my husband teases that I’m too old to watch them.

★★★★ ½! Spend The Night, part 1 of 3. Heiress life is thrown upside down by mystery lover, suitors, rivals & foes!

“We panted and inhaled desperate breaths, breathing together as he rocked into me, and it was the most intense and satisfying experience of my life. An experience that I feared would consume me in more ways than one.”

The Hotel Collection serial is most enjoyed if read in order:
Part 1: Spend The Night I
Part 2: Spend The Night II
Part 3: Spend The Night III

Spend The Night, part 1 in the Hotel Collection serial opens up to event coordinator and hotel heiress Hannah Jane Wellesley’s life eight months after a Masquerade Gala and mind-blowing sex with a mysterious stranger in a stairway. Ever since Hannah has been trying to both forget and identify the mystery lover to no avail.

But things are looking out when handsome premier chef Carter Delevan comes back in town as head chef at The Wellesley-Crawford hotel. Hannah not only suspects him to be her mystery lover, but he has everything she should look for in a suitor.

At the same time, after 10 years of absence, her childhood friend and first love, heir and mogul Trenton Crawford, Trent shows up stirring up old feelings. Hannah is not immune to Trent but his hot-cold and elusive demeanor infuriates her. Besides him being part heir to The Wellesley-Crawford Hotel empire poses a threat to her taking over the hotel.

Hannah’s life is thrown into tailspin with seduction, sex, suitors, mystery lovers, rivals and foes set against the backdrop of her trying to take charge of the hotel. But not everything and everyone is as it seems and one of her suitors may very well be out to hurt her, why and how to be unfold in series.

Seven words to describe Hannah Jane Wellesley: OCD, focused, motivated, competitive, loyal, caring and smart.

Seven words to describe Trenton Crawford, Trent: Elusive, jaded, enigmatic, hot-cold, complex, commanding and charismatic.

Seven words to describe Carter Delevan: Charming, sweet, accommodating, patient, polite, secretive and focused.

Spend The Night, part 1 has the perfect blend of sexual tension, smut, humor, mystery and suspense. The only reason I did not give it 5 star is due to the novella length. I can easily see this being a 5 star serial for me. Part 1’s ending leads right to part 2, Spend The Night II for the continuation of the story.

Entertaining plot! Excellent story-telling! Sexual tension galore! Off-the-charts sex against walls! A very promising start to serial!

Spend the Night by Elizabeth Lee was tantangilzy sexy and suspenseful!! This happened to be the first book I have read from this author and wow Ms. Lee blew me away with her suspenseful and yet deliciously seductive serial. Spend the Night is a book that only has one question that needs to be answered. Who is he?

#SpendTheNight!

Hannah Wellesley is a 27 year old hotel heiress of Wellesley-Crawford, who had her world turned upside down after one night of hot mind-blowing sex with a mysterious stranger at masquerade ball in a hotel stairwell. Fast forward to 8 months later and Hannah still can’t forget this mysterious man, who ignited a raw sexual passion and desire within her. When you think Hannah was at a dead end in finding out who this mysterious lover might be, two gorgeous men from Hannah’s past comes entering in the picture. Two men.. Trent Crawford, a man from her childhood past and Carter Delevan. a head chef. Both men are upfront with Hannah, they want her and enjoy her company. Two gorgeous men vying for the attention of Hannah can only spell TROUBLE. So only one question remains..who will win Trent or Carter? And who is this mysterious stranger?

#SpendTheNight

Spend the Night is one of those sexy suspenseful reads that must be read and experienced. It will leave you intrigued as you await for secrets and truths to be unraveled. What I love about this book was the author was able to pack so much suspense and steam into this short read and will have you hooked and captivated as you guess on who this mysterious stranger is? And of course who will earn the heart of Hannah?

Sexy and Mysterious!!

Now this was different! And I really liked it!

Beautiful hotel heiress Hannah has been groomed to run the WC that her family has part ownership in since she was a child. This hotel is her baby and she knows it from the ground up.. She's also 27 and that little clock in her is ticking away.. she's so ready for that "someone" to sweep her off her feet..

Then one night at one of the hotel's masquerade fundraisers someone does. The lights go out and she's hauled into a stairwell for some of the best sex of her life...

The problem is..she has no idea who he was. He ran off before she could see who he was.. for 8 months she's remembered the way this mans hands made her feel.. who was he? Will she ever see him again??

Enter Carter and Trent....

Carter is a sexy chef that Hannah met the night of the fundraiser before.. he's sweet and charming and has a connection to her hotel..

Trent's family is also part owner of the WC... he and Hannah have history. They grew up together and had a connection.. but Trent left 10 years ago. Now he's back wanting to reclaim what's rightfully his..

Could one of these men be the one that Hannah has not been able to get off her mind for 8 months? They both seem very interested.. putting moves on her. But one of them may not be good for her.. at all. We get Hannah's pov but we also get a pov from "Him".. and whoever "Him" is, seems to have a fascination with Hannah....

Really looking forward to finding out who was in the stairwell with her!! And who might be a little cra cra! And who's gonna be running the WC! Lot's of questions! Can't wait to get answers!!

Serial fiction seems to be on the rise lately, and I'll admit that for me they can be hit-or-miss. Every so often, though, I’m lucky enough to come across one that is juuuuust right. Like, “Oh my God, I need the next one NOW!” perfect. After reading this first episode of Elizabeth Lee’s The Hotel Collection, I can say that she absolutely knows the exact formula for delivering that perfection, and I. AM. HOOKED!!

Here’s the backstory: Hannah Wellesley has worked her tail off at her family-owned Wellesley-Crawford hotel, earning herself the respect of everyone around her as well as a great career. She’s a successful, smart, confident woman with a soft spot for romance and a man who knows how to rock her world…yes, I love this gal! When a mysterious masked man does exactly that (and holy shit…does he ever!), Hannah is thrown off her axis and can’t let go of the idea that this perfect guy for her is out there somewhere. Out there, and quite possibly never to be seen again. So, who is he? Is he the sweet and sexy chef Carter, who she hit it off with at the gala? Or could it be someone from her past that has come back to stake his claim? Trent, the boy she shared so many memories with but had to say goodbye to all those years ago, who is now the sinfully sexy man trying to steal her position at the hotel. And he made being the bad boy look sooooooo yummy!

Elizabeth Lee quite literally had my mind on a bender as I was reading this story, trying to figure out which guy was the masked alpha sex god based on clues when we're briefly in his POV. I’m absolutely team Trent on this one, because while Carter has his charm and good looks, he’s just not Trent. In fact, for any further mention of him in my reviews, his name will now be “Not Trent”, just sayin'. Between their sweet childhood memories Hannah looks back on, and the way Trent makes her body hum just by looking at her…hot damn, I so want this bad boy to be the one, because he’s every woman’s secret craving for a naughty book boyfriend! But, alas, we don't know who the masked man is yet, thanks to some wickedly clever writing that kept me saying "OH! It's him! No, wait, they both did that..." right up to the end. I need to know, I need more of this addicting mysterious vibe the whole storyline has, and I ABSOLUTELY need more of Trent and Hannah together…behind closed doors…or not, I’m not picky. Enough said, now bring on Episode II!!!

Quotes:

I truly thought I’d met the man of my dreams that night. The take-charge kind of guy I’d been looking for—planning for. Someone to challenge me mentally and satisfy me sexually. Someone who fit into my lifestyle and was willing to be spontaneous. But as soon as I had him, he was gone, leaving me alone in a darkened stairwell just before the secondary power kicked in. ~Loc 79

I had gotten a damn good feel for him, but what was I supposed to do? Go around asking every guy that was a possibility to kiss me? To screw me up against a wall so that I could see if my vagina had any recollection of a previous encounter? ~Loc 582

I hadn’t seen this man in ten years and now I was relieved that he wasn’t married. Apparently my libido and my biological clock were syncing up and trying to turn me into a woman who only thought about one thing. ~Loc 723

This book is exactly why I LOVE serials!! I am a big, big fan of serial series', so when I heard Elizabeth Lee was writing one, I couldn't have been more excited. And man, was I blown away!!!

Spend The Night follows the story of Hannah Wellesley. Her entire life has been spent in her family's hotel and she's devoted her life to it. One of her biggest events of the year is the hotel's masquerade gala. But this years gala will be unlike any before. A chance encounter with a masked stranger during a blackout will turn her entire world upside down. Now, eight months later, Hannah finds herself still thinking of her masked stranger. She's clinging to the hope that he will walk back into her life. When Hannah finally decides to try to move on, her fate takes an interesting turn. Suddenly her career is looking more promising than ever and now she's got two handsome men fighting for her attention. But, both men appear to have motives of their own.......

I was so intrigued by this story from the first page. I loved the steam and scorching chemistry between Hannah and her mysterious stranger. I loved the little bread crumb of clues that were left along the way and I am completely intrigued by who "HIM" is. This is definitely one of those stories that will have on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next!

Spend The Night is a fantastic start to this series! This story will pull you in and completely captivate you, leaving you breathless and wanting more. I loved the mystery, suspense and intrigue that surrounded the story. The chemistry between the characters are off the charts and will have you questioning what their real motives are. I for one can not wait to get my hands on the next episode!!

Sexy fun little read that centred around the WC Hotel. Heiress, Hannah is busy moaning for her MIA mystery mask lover who fuck her at the stairwell, while trying to step up as the new COO, a position she had been groom for since she was born. But the reappearance of Trent Crawford threw a wrench at her well planned future.

Trent is the other heir of the WC legacy. His family used to be the silent partner, so what make the sudden interest to take over?

They both have a month to prove their worth.

Oh, I should also mentioned Carter, the deliciously yummy chef that Hannah suspect might be her mystery lover. But I feel is that this nice guy is too boring to be fucking her in the dark.

And then there is Him. Why oh why did I feel that Him sound like a serial killer with all his creepiness? So who is this creepy guy? Is it the mystery lover? Is it Trent or is it Carter? Arg! To much question. I hope there will be some twist to it.

*This review contains no spoilers*

When the author reached out to me and asked me if I was interested in reading a review copy of "Spend The Night", I was tempted to say no, simply due to the fact that, at the time, I already had a couple of ARCs in my schedule to read and review, and I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to review this book in time.
But when I read the blurb, I just knew that I had to say yes.

And oh my, am I happy I did it.

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time - be it through the suspenseful moments, the emotional ones or the sexy and exciting ones: you never know what’s gonna happen next.

After a rendezvous with a mystery man in a dark stairwell, Hannah deems it impossible to forget that night and the way the stranger made her body alight with desire.
Eight months later, she finally has a potential face to attribute to her masked lover, but she also finds herself in the middle of a love triangle: between the one that can very well be the man she's be hoping would come back to her and the one she never thought would return.

The thing is, she soon realizes that the weird occurrences taking place in the hotel might very well be the result of the actions of one of the two men. And now, she's in danger.

Carter is sweet, caring, attentive: a true gentleman. Not to mention, ridiculously attractive.
Trent is quite the opposite - well, aside from the "ridiculosly atractive" part. His hot and cold behaviorr give Hannah whiplash, butt she just can't seem to stay way.

While Carter is the epitome of "boyfriend material" and most likely the man she's being waiting for 8 months now, Trent's presence in the hotel is felt at the turn of every corner and Hannah can't shake the feeling that there's more to him that it suggests.

To keep her sanity (mostly) intact, she concludes she must give in to her own perception of what a happy ending should look like and pursue a life with Carter.
However, her mind keeps wondering to Trent and his intoxicating aura and wants nothing more than to overlook the twinge of his puzzling, inconsistent actions and be with the man she once held close and reckon to be her other half.

Which one should she follow? Her head or her heart? Is the latter lying to her?
Her gut keeps telling her to listen to only one of those: problem is, she's in too deep now and can't hear a thing.

For her own good, she hopes she makes the right choice.

It was my first time reading Elizabeth Lee but it surely won't be the last.
I’m so happy I said yes.

OH. ELIZABETH LEE. You are the queen questions.

WHO THE HELL IS THE GUY??????

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the story and the way it all unraveled or lack there of.

I love the waiting game, I might bitch and moan about it, but I love the angst. I love the feels that not knowing what is going to happen next.

EL is the queen. I am so excited about the rest of this series.

It's fun and sexy and a fast paced read.

Ok. Good and totally confusing with the two guys. Trent seems sort of a jerk. The Him pov's didn't help any, but you know one is a serious control freak. I think the Him's are from both guys?? Anyway... looking forward to solving this mystery.

Elizabeth Lee already has me completely addicted to this story! After an unforgettable encounter with a masked stranger during a blackout, Hannah is still reeling in the aftermath eight months later. She’s stuck on the man who turned her world upside down tonight and dreams that one day he’ll walk back into her life. Just as she thinks she is ready to move on, her work life and love like take a dramatic turn. Two men appear, ready to vie for Hannah’s attention and this story promises to set you on fire.

I adore Hannah. There is nothing I love more than a successful, hard-working, independent woman who is running the world (or at least her own). With her two best friends, we get to see her relaxed and honest and vulnerable and that made me love her even more. Carter is a sexy chef that definitely knows the right way to woo a woman, but he doesn’t quite do it for me. Trent on the other hand is everything I lust over in a BBF. Not only is he also a successful, hard-working businessman, but also his past history with Hannah and his willingness to take what he wants won me over immediately. The chemistry between Hannah and Trent is absolutely smoldering.

This story is really just getting started, but I’m already invested in this journey. I love the mystery of trying to piece together who it was that Hannah had her masked encounter with. The contrast between Carter and Trent is already starting to show and I can only imagine how torn Hannah is about to feel when it comes to these two men. The sexual tension between Trent and Hannah is high, but by throwing in the business component of their relationship and the competition for control, Elizabeth Lee has kicked things up another notch. Episode 2 cannot be here soon enough!

I was hesitant about serials when I first heard the concept. I was worried about the pacing, the character development, the constant cliff hanger, the length (obvi)...I didn't think I was a serial kind of gal. I like depth and background, and I was concerned the stories would feel too rushed. Elizabeth Lee made me throw those worries right out the window.

Spend the Night was a perfect start to The Hotel Collection, and gave me just enough to leave me wanting more; it's a cruel tease, but hey...we all like a good tease now and then. This storyline follows the life of Hannah Wellesley, Event Planner and (eventual C.O.O.) of the WC – the richest and most glamorous hotel in all of Chicago, which is owned by her family. She's career driven, motivated, and focused...until one night after a gala when a masked man guides her into a dark stairwell and blows her mind. Now, her mind is constantly swirling around with possibilities of who this man could be, and wondering if she'll ever actually see him again.

This was the perfect blend of steam, sex, and suspense and if you're anything like me, the second you think you've figured out who "he" is, EL will have you questioning yourself. Damn it, woman, I need answers!! ;)

If you're looking for a quick serial read (with installments that don't seem to be separated by too much time), I'd highly recommend Spend the Night.

Exciting beginning to a mystery romance serial!

REVIEW:
The story:
This is the first episode of a 3 part serial following hard working hotel heiress, Hannah Wellesley. On the brink of taking over the reins of the hotel Hannah has one night of crazy fun, hooking up with a mysterious masked man at The Annual Mask Gala. But months on and she's unable to forget that night of passion with the stranger she has never been able to find. Trying to move on she meets up with new chef, Carter who may or may not be her mysterious man. Also entering the scene is fellow heir to the Wellesly-Crawford Hotel, Trent Crawford. Both bring their own secrets and it's unclear what their real motivations might be.

The characters:
Hannah has always done the right thing. She's hard working, passionate and very good at her job. But she's yet to find that one man to give her heart to. That one night of reckless passion, has opened her eyes to something exciting and she's determined to feel that excitement again.

Trent Crawford appears to be the typical arrogant heir. He's cocky and is used to getting what he wants. He could sometimes come across as a bit of an ass, but I personally believe that's a bit of a cover, and we are yet to see the 'real' Trent - the one that 17 year old Hannah remembers.

Carter is a little mysterious, we don't really know that much about him yet, but he's kind and seems to really like Hannah.

The romance:
We have a bit of the makings of a love triangle here. Carter is new in Hannah's life and he brings something fresh and exciting. On the other hand, Hannah has known Trent all her life and they have 'history'. I have to admit I'm very much #TeamTrent!

The Writing:
I really loved the writing format Elizabeth used with Hannah's POV telling the majority of the story and a few chapters told by 'Him', the mysterious man. We can assume that it's either Carter or Trent, and it's so exciting trying to pick the clues and guess who it is and whether or not they are the 'good' or 'bad' character!

FINAL WORD:
Exciting beginning to a mystery romance serial! Can't wait for episode #2…go #TeamTrent!!!

CONTENT:
Sexuality: medium / sex scene
Violence: none
Language: mild-medium / occasional f word
Drugs & alcohol: mild

Typically, the idea of a serial is not appealing to me - there never seems to be enough time to truly connect to the characters and the storyline before it ends and you are left hanging. I should have known Elizabeth Lee would change my mind!! Boy did she ever.....

This is the story of Hannah Wellesley, an event planner for her family's luxurious hotel in Chicago. She is career driven, successful, motivated, structured, and independent. Hannah lives a very straight-laced life until a masked stranger shows up at a gala she has planned and is attending and they have a steamy encounter without her knowing his identity. It leaves her with so many questions when the man leaves abruptly without revealing who he is. I love that the author has chapters from 'Him' so we don't know who he is but we do get a glimpse into what he is thinking and just enough information to be biting our fingernails trying to figure out his identity.

Eight months after the gala, two men enter her life in two very different ways. Carter is a chef who has accepted a job with the hotel and is now living in Chicago. He comes across as very sweet and loving - just wanting to get to know her and treat her in a way she deserves to be treated. Trent is her childhood friend - his family is a silent partner with hers in the hotel. She hasn't seen him in years and he shows up alternating between being hot and sexy with her and cold and distant. You can feel the chemistry between the two of them every time they are together. Is her masked stranger one of these men?

JUST when you think you have things figured out, we end up with more questions and DEFINITELY wanting more! I have been a fan of Elizabeth Lee for a while now, and this book just cements in my mind that she is truly doing what she is meant to do. She is such a talented author with a true gift for words. Thank you for another amazing book - I'm on pins and needles waiting for February and the next installment..........

Consider me hooked. The first episode of The Hotel Collection starts with a bang. Like a literal bang, up against the wall, with a mysterious stranger. The prologue gives you a taste of the sexy I can only hope continues in the following episodes.

Hannah is extremely hard working and driven as she prepares to take her rightful place as the next COO of her family's hugely successful hotel. To say she could use a night of stress relief and just letting go of her inhibitions is an understatement. She never expected to be consumed so completely by one encounter with a stranger. Too bad her mystery man hit it and quit it. Eight months later and she's ready to give up hope that destiny dick is ever coming back.

Then two guys show up that could potentially solve the mystery. Carter is a chef that Hannah met that night eight months ago. Now he's back and working in her Hotel. She hasn't seen Trenton Crawford in ten years but now he's back and looking to take her job as COO. The author includes the POV from "HIM". It adds a really cool suspense factor to the story. You don't know the identity of "HIM" or if he has the best of intentions for Hannah. I have a few ideas about who this guy will turn out to be but honestly with the way it's written there is no clear answer to his identity. It could be either Carter or Trenton. I guess it could even be someone we haven't met in the story yet. I really like both guys but I feel like I know more about Trenton. He and Hannah have a lot of history together and I'd love to see them together but there are a couple of moments where something seems a little off with him. The suspense is perfectly miserable. I'm left dying to read the next episode

I know there are a lot of mixed feelings out there regarding serials. Even I, myself, am torn at times. I have a love/hate relationship with cliffhangers and sometimes serials are brutal. But you know what? I mostly enjoy them. As long as there isn't too much of a delay between installments, I find them to be delicious little bite-sized stories. That's exactly what Spend the Night I was.

I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth Lee's books – gotta love those country boys and girls – and I was eager to get my hands on her latest work. It is so very different and I loved it because of that. I think she shows her range here nicely. (Not that, you know, I'll ever get sick of her other characters or books!) Spend the Night I is every bit as well-written as I expect her books to be, but it was edgier and a bit darker. Totally intriguing! I've always said the purpose of the first book in a serial is to hook me, and trust me when I say she totally did.

I can't say much about the book for fear of giving something away, so I'll keep this short and sweet. Spend the Night I was a super quick read. It starts off with a bang (ahem) and a hint of mystery. Hannah was a great heroine. She's smart, strong and successful. There are two delicious leading men in this story and I can't wait to find out more about each of them. Is one of them the mysterious "Him" from whom we get a few short chapters? Oh boy. This was such a wonderful tease. I can't wait for the second episode!

Spend the Night - Episode 1
Elizabeth Lee
4 stars

"Who is that masked man?"

This first episode from Elizabeth Lee leaves me wanting more and more. I love this erotic, suspenseful side of her. She can write anything her little heart desires.

Hannah meets the man of her dreams and has an unforgettable tryst with him in her family's hotel. Only she never sees his face. It's dark due to a storm and he's wearing a masquerade mask. She's never felt the passion and chemistry before like she did that night. With nothing but a quick kiss he says goodbye.

We pick up eight months later and she's ready to move on with her life. She doesn't expect to ever see "the masked man" again. Given the chance to take over as COO of the hotel she thinks moving up until Trent, childhood friend and the other founding family's member shows up and shakes up her foundation.

Literally.

There are two POV's to the book - Hannah's and "HIS". Throughout the whole book you're trying to figure out who "His" is and just when you think you know Elizabeth takes us in a different direction. At first you thinks it's Carter, sexy surfing chef who was there that night and he's come back after an 8 month absence, then you think it's Trent, but I'm not so convinced that it's either!

Most serials are quick and offer no "history" but not this one. It provides the right amount of back story that it makes the impact of the present so much more intriguing.

I cannot wait for Episode 2!!

Wow - I'm captivated and confused. And since this is suspense, I think confusion is the point! :)

Spend the Night is told through two or possibly three POVs - Hannah Wellesley's and 'HIM'. There are two possible prospects for the male POV - but then again, it could be both. I'm however, am clueless. And that just adds to the suspense.

The setup - Hannah is heir to a posh hotel in Chicago. She's lived her whole life preparing to run the WC. She's very organized - a planner - and is rarely spontaneous. One night, though, she steps outside her comfort zone. It's an experience she'll never forget. Problem is, he was masked and fled afterwards. Eight months later, she's still pining.

The mystery is well played and I admit, a little creepy. I'm just not sure where this story is going. Hanna is a strong, confident young woman. Both men vying for her attention are handsome, successful, and gentlemanly. Trenton Crawford - yep, heir to the Crawford half of the WC - has the benefit of having history with Hannah. I don't like his hot and cold manner with Hannah but I assume this plays into the mystery. Carter Delevan, the new chef at the hotel seems sweet - yet if he's the mystery 'HIM', he's a bit scary.

I'm intrigued with this story. I am still trying to unravel the mystery with the little I know so far. I need to know who the creepy 'HIM' is and I also need to know what both these men want from Hannah. I'm very anxious for Episode 2, which promises to turn up the tension.

I need more. NOW! I feel like the spoiled brat in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory wanting to stomp my feet shouting "I want episode 2 NOW, Elizabeth!" But, I have better manners lol.

From the prologue, Elizabeth pulled me in with the mystery. Our heroine, Hannah, throws her usual behavior to the wind with a sexy hook-up with a masked stranger. We have no clue who he is and Hannah spends the following eight months thinking back to that night, fondly. And often. What makes things fun are the two men we come to meet, we get chapters from "Him" but we have no idea who he is! I loved the way that every time I was convinced I knew who "He" was, in the next sentence I was saying "crap, now I'm not too sure anymore." I'm excited to see how this story develops and to see how Hannah handles things. In addition to trying to uncover who her mystery man is, I'm sensing she's got a fight on her hands to take over as the rightful COO of her family's hotel. I can feel the sexual tension and mystery in this series future and I'm welcoming it with open arms!

Spend the Night is the first episode of the new The Hotel Collection Serial by Elizabeth Lee. It is a hot little read that I like to call “Phantom of the Hotel”. This is the story of Hannah; she is an event planner extraordinaire at her family’s hotel, and being prepped by her fabulous grandmother to take over as COO. It is told in 1st person by our heroine and a mystery narrator known only as “Him”. Who is “He”? Is he the man our girl had a steamy encounter with one night 8 months ago? Is he the new chef of the hotel who has an interest in her? Is he a crazy ex-guest? Is he Batman??? We have NO IDEA what we do know is he is a stalker and at this point he could be friend or foe.

Intrigued yet? You should be! I for one can not wait to see what happens next especially now that Hannah’s sexy childhood playmate and grandson of the family who owns one half of the hotel has shown up to give her a run for her money. Be sure to grab this one up quickly because episode two is already in the chamber. Ready… Aim…

I didn't hate the book but I didn't like it either. It was very repetitive and kind of annoying. I don't believe that these women would still be talking about a trist in a hallway after 8 months. I would believe it if only 3 months had passed. I would of liked it more if the male character's point of view was left out. It felt really creepy to me and he was a complete douche and so hot and cold. His actions didn't make any sense compared to what was written in his pov. I don't feel compelled to read the next part. I liked Carter but I really dislike Hannah after what she let Trent get away with. It really pissed me off. This is just my opinion I'm sure there are others out there who might like this. I received this as an arc from the author and I really wanted to like it but I just didn't.

Elizabeth Lee rocked the socks off this first episode of her new serial, The Hotel Collection. Spend the Night I is sexy and mysterious. I was hooked by the prologue and just kept getting more invested in Hannah and her mystery man by the chapter. Just when I thought I had things all figured out, I started second-guessing myself. While I'm not usually one for serials due to the lack of info and the pacing too quick, that isn't the case here. Lee added the perfect amount of back story to really get a feel for the characters and the story did progress quickly but never once did it feel rushed or lacking. This is one serial I KNOW I'll keep reading, I have to know who 'Him' is!

Elizabeth Lee is one hell of a writer, and definitely one I will always read. When it comes to her new 'Stay The Night' series, she steps outside of her normal southern themed storylines, but she does not disappoint. Hannah Wellesley has the attentions of two men, one from her past and and one from the present. I loved the mystery aspect of this book, and I loved trying to figure out who 'Him' was. Every time I thought I had it figured out by the dialog and clues in each segment/chapter, I was proven wrong in the next one. Was it Trent or was it Carter? Or was it someone else? I can't wait for the next installment of this highly anticipated serial, so I can find out more. At the end of this installment, I am #TeamTrent

The perfect example of why I love short serials. With those, you can either go very wrong or do it just right like Elizabeth did with this one.

Short, fun but sexy and mysterious. Despite the length of this book, we got enough background story, interesting characters, some hot as hell scenes and a mystery that gets you completely hooked and to be dying for the next book.

Rooting for Trent to get his handsome head out of his ass! (So glad he's not Him, he sounded like a super creepy stalker. I was holding my breath until the very last chapter. Bah. Deep exhale.)
