Amme is having a ball while visiting Earth but as departure day gets closer she has some tough decisions to make - the biggest one being to tell or not to tell Marcus that aliens are fact and not science fiction in this charmingly fun sci-fi romance.
As a cyborg Amme is wired to care for children so helping the handsome Marcus out with his daughter is easy but soon she thinks her system is malfunctioning and the reader can't help but be fascinated by Amme and Marcus as they both struggle with unfamiliar emotions and burning desires. The attraction between Amme and Marcus is red hot but the relationship will take some interesting steps to accomplish, especially as Amme's time for departure grows closer. These strong captivating characters capture the heart and demand the reader's attention from the very beginning and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps expectations high with lots of suspense, excitement, fun and romance.
Lots of anticipation and excitement throughout the story as Camryn, Ry and the Indy crew visit Earth and take it by storm with lots of laughter but there is also danger as someone wants Marcus for herself and isn't going to let anyone get in her way. There's also lots of emotional turmoil with Camryn's family and of course what you would expect when introducing aliens which adds lots of depth. The story comes to life with well written scenes and details that forge vivid images and the well orchestrated events ensure that there is no way to put the book down until every last word has been read.
Once again, Shelley Munro has brought joy to my life with this spectacular series full of intriguing characters and I can't wait to join the Indy crew on another adventure and I have to say GO Olivia, that's what I would have done!

I've been meaning to devour this book for months, it's been awaiting patiently on my ereader. 'Merry & Seduced' is book 3, in Shelley Munro's "House of the Cat" series, I recommend you read this series in order, well atleast read book 1 prior to this book. 'Merry & Seduced' was once again a long book, hitting under 600 pages (in iBooks). But knowing the treat I was in for with this series, I jumped it & was soon lost within the story, devouring it.
Ry has promised Camryn a Christmas on Earth with her family, so the entire crew is along for the ride, also they are excited to see more of Earth & learn the customs there. Along the crew is Amme, a childcare cyborg (very intersting story there), along with her fully grown charge Gwen. Prior to their arrival, Marcas Polo has the shock of a life time, in the delivery of a 3 year old daughter, that he had no idea he had. Escaping the city to his country home, where he knows friends have children.....
I LOVED every second of this book, from the moment Camryn & her brother Max see one another it's nothing but fun to read. The interractions between Camryn's Earth family & her family that is the crew, is wicked, then you through in Marcus & his daughter, just WOW. This is one holiday tale you need to read, especially if your a paranormal or alien genre fan. You learn more about the other crew members in this book which I loved, but what I loved more would have been the total child-like enjoyment the crew had in experiencing Christmas for the first time. I can't wait to be able to read what happens next in the "House Of the Cat" series.

This was the perfect way to read about what happens with Ry and Camryn after their story leaves off but with its own set of characters. Marcus and Amme were pure joy to read about. Their story was entertaining and HOT! The antics of the whole crew from the Indy as they attempted to fit in to normal New Zealand life at Christmas time were priceless. I laughed right along with Camryn, especially the ice cream scene at the beach! It was a great blend of serious and funny with several dashes of sexy thrown in. There was growth of character and good flow to the story. I really had difficulty stopping once I started. This is book 2.5 of the series, but is able to stand on its own. However, because it follows the chronological story, it would be more enjoyable after reading at least the first book of the series. Wherever you are at in the series, I highly recommend you grab this book and read it! Tis the perfect season to read it for a little extra joy in your life!

Camryn comes to visit her brother on Earth but friend Amme will find the unexpected.
Camryn's mate Ry brings her back to Earth so she can make peace with her brother Max and so that the crew can experience an Earth Christmas.When they visit Max his neighbor Marcus arrives to ask for his advice and help. Marcus had a surprise delivery while at work his three and three quarters years old daughter Autumn who he had no idea existed but was now his as her mother had died. He needs help sorting out how to care for her and one of the crew volunteers to help. Amme is a cyborg who has been programed in childcare and her last charge is now an adult and part of the crew and seeing a child in need she volunteers. As Anne spends more and more time with Marcus she finds she is developing new and unusual feelings when he is around. How will he react when he finds she is an alien cyborg. An exciting alien romance to relax and enjoy.

This was a wonderful story. I haven't read any books from this series and I am thinking that I should go and read the others, especially the one about Camryn and Ry. All of the characters were a joy to read. The story will have you reading until you finish. There were spots in the book that had me tearing up.
I love that the story was in my favorite dual POV. It was wonderful to read the changes that Amme was undergoing with her emotions in regards to Marcus. It was also nice to read able Marcus and the changes that he underwent as well.
I normally do not read about aliens as my poor pea-brain doesn't comprehend the scenes that an author describes but this one was different as it took place on Earth. Also there wasn't a lot of descriptive language here. The author basically let the read use their mind to fill in the scene like a movie.
I highly recommend this story.

I love Shelley Munro’s stories and this one Merry and Seduced is no exception, and this is another fantastic addition to the House of the Cat series and they can all be read as a standalone but you should probably read book 1 before this one so you can know who the past characters are but it’s not necessary. Amme is a cyborg she is wired to care for children but her last charge is all grown up so now she is going to earth with her friends for Christmas. While there she meets Marcus and his daughter. Marcus has a daughter and he’s still in shock he doesn’t know how to look after her, when Marcus and Amme meet there’s an instant attraction but Marcus doesn’t know that Amme is a cyborg and Amme helps Marcus with his daughter. This is a great Christmas alien cyborg romance and these two characters their chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥. A fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Amme and Marcus. She's traveling thru space with the crew of the Indy. She's a cyborg with the child care designation. They are visiting Earth and Camryn's brother for the Christmas holiday. Marcus receives a delivery that turns out to be his daughter from a previous quick relationship. He heads to his neighbor Max's house for help. Mac and Ellen are speaking with Camryn and Ry like. He notices that Amme speaks to his daughter Autumn with ease and care. Offering her a job during get holiday send the perfect answer. There is a spark of something, her sensors keep misfiring leaving her feeling different. When a past going threatens Autumn, Amme steps in and protects her while putting her secret on display. Great quick read with a fun cast of characters.

This is book 3 of The Cat Series by Shelley Munro and I must say how much I enjoyed reading it. This is not a book that I read in one go as it is a really good 'proper' length of a substantial story [approximately 600 pages] and it is very well written and has amazing characters in Amme and Marcus. She's an alien cyborg just having a holiday on Earth before her next job and it is there that she meets Marcus, a billionaire and alpha male who is s@xy and swoon worthy. She is nothing like his usual women and that he finds very attractive - there is just something different about her. But she doesn't think this could be a long term relationship as Earth doesn't know about aliens - particularly cyborgs. SO where could their attraction that is red hot go? I do think it would be better to read the previous two books to appreciate this book to it's fullest. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I think that this is an excellent alien/paranormal romance!! I really like how this group of friends support one another, their commitment to one another is one of the main reasons why I was immediately on their side. Their adaptability and maturity when dealing with not so pleasant issues are also admirable. This sexy story is full of surprises, happy moments, alpha men, love, acceptance and even a little drama. I was able to read this in one sitting and enjoyed this so much that I think this series can easily become an addiction.

Ry, along with his crew, takes Camryn home to Earth for a long overdue visit with her estranged brother. While Camryn mends fences with her brother and his wife, cyborg Amme becomes a temporary nanny for the neighbor's child and promptly falls in lust then love with the child's father. A well told tale that ends, almost, with a sweet wedding and marriage vows, and also a loving commitment ceremony of engagement. I love this series and I am always happy to read about recurring characters and how their lives are progressing! Nice!

This book sees the return of the crew from the Indy that we were introduced to in Book 1 of the House of the Cat series and this book provides a great way to catch up with them. This book had them returning to New Zealand to spend Christmas. I loved the lightheartedness of this book. It was a fun, light read that's perfect for when you want an enjoyable, easy book that you can lose yourself in for a few hours. While this book is standalone, it would be best enjoyed if you've read Book 1 (Captured & seduced) as it gives you background to the characters.

Fantastic story about aliens visiting Earth at Christmas time
This book is about a female horse trainer and her alien friends traveling to Earth for Christmas. She wants to reconnect with their brother and his family to apologize for her behavior when she was drinking.
The characters are unique, funny, and somewhat relatable. The plot is shows what Christmas is in New Zealand and how dramatic you can be.
I've enjoyed this book immensely. I highly recommend this book and series.

A Contemporary Novella with Plenty of Romance
Merry & Seduced written by author Shelley Munro was a fun read even though I felt like I came in the middle of a conversation by not having reading any previous books in the series. However Marcus, his new daughter Autumn, and Amme as well as the next door neighbors, the aliens and Olivia all colored a fun, light, romantic novella that I enjoyed spending my time.
Im recommending this story for your reading pleasure and enjoyment.

I love Shelley's writing, how she adopts scifi and paranormal into everyday life for humans. This story is great because it ties a loose end back into the series. The descriptive storyline pulls you in. This shouldn't be read without reading the first book, but if you haven't read book one other than spoiler alerts it could stand on its own to an extent, but you will get curious as to the other characters and what lead up to this reunion. I voluntarily read a copy of this book through booksprout and I loved it.

This book is one of those hidden gems in my opinion. I was expecting a book where they see each other and hit it off right away. With a great deal of hot steamy sexy times. That the hero was into having control. Well, he is but not the way I thought. What I got was something more. They have great chemistry and attraction. I also got heavy drama, I would recommend this to anyone!! Who loves Holiday Romances!!

I LOVED THIS ONE!!! What a great addition to the series! I absolutely loved seeing all our friends from the Indy celebrate Christmas on Earth. Aliens experiencing Earth for the first time, friends and family reuniting after months apart, and a child losing one parent to illness and a meeting her other parent for the first time. There are many firsts in this story! It was a joy to read. I can't wait to see what comes next for them!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was funny and sweet with a little bit of drama to keep it interesting. Marcus, Amme and Autumn made up the sweetest family and Marcus and Amme had amazing chemistry. It was also awesome to “catch up” with other characters from Ms. Munro’s books. The mistletoe scene was hilarious and I could just about “see” Marcus’s reaction! Well done!

I really enjoyed this book. I have found this true of most of the books I have read by Ms. Munro. The characters are interesting, likeable and different types of individuals. Amme and Marcus are perfect for each other and he seems to roll with the changes. She has some interesting quirks in her thinking, bringing some humor into the story. I recommend this book as a light-hearted read.

When I first bought this book back in 2015, I thought the man's name was cute, it reminds me of standing in a store going Marco/ Polo and also the explorer even though our hero is Marcus Polo. This story is intriguing and very entertaining to read. It's a different twist on having family and friends for the holidays and it is great to experience it through new eyes. The characters are varied and colorful, the twists and turns add suspense and intrigue, and the love, romance and spice add heart and emotions. Great read.

Fun one
I haven’t read the others in the series, but I picked up on the story with no problem.

Fun, sexy read with just enough holiday spirit!
This is packed with humor, misspoken and misused words (on the characters' not author's) and plenty of family and friends.
This book starts with a huge surprise package and they surprises get better and bigger. This was a lighthearted read!

This is a very entertaining and enjoyable read. A fun and emotional sci-fi holiday romance. I t was very easy to fall under Amme and Marcus' spell. I loved their chemistry and emotional connection. The storyline had lots of charm, drama and sweetness. This is my freely posted, frank review.

She is alien and he is human. She is done with a job wanting an adventure comes to earth at Christmas. She meets him when she wants a fling. Things get complicated. It is such a fun adventurous read. I highly recommended it. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
