Despite ending their relationship, Alex has never stopped thinking about Gaby. He has spent the last ten years working non-stop, in an attempt to not only make something of himself, but to become successful enough to feel worth of her. In contrast, Gaby has not thought of Alex in years. Utterly heartbroken when he left, she forced herself to set that entire part of her life out of her mind.
As we begin this story Gaby is unhappy in her relationship and working a job that doesn’t suit her. She is missing something, and can’t quite figure out what it is. Alex, on the other hand, has become hugely successful, and is now actively seeking to reconnect with Gaby. But he also appears to have some sort of nefarious plot stewing.
This book has the distinction of being as enjoyable as it is difficult to review. The problem lies in the fact that it is quite short, but also greatly mysterious and suspenseful. There is just not much that can be said without resorting to spoilers or merely rehashing the book blurb.
My complaint with the book is that it seems to just race toward the ending. While the bulk of the story moves at a decent pace, the climax and resolution come much too quickly and with too little effort.

Gabriella Winslow and Alexander Black are getting a second chance.
And this time, Alex feels he has something to offer. Let me explain ... so many years ago, Gaby and Alex were in love. But love doesn't cure everything. Alex was incredibly insecure. He was a just a street magician. He had nothing to offer the wealthy Gabriella. So he left. And by leaving, he gave himself the passion necessary to make something more of himself so he could be what Gaby deserved. But time did not pass the same for Gaby. She didn't sit at home waiting for Alex. She moved on with her life and put him out of her mind.
But that was then and this is now and he's back ........
The story is really short not only in length, but in time. It basically spans the length of a weekend. But in that time, Natasha Moore manages to unfold the past and develop the present flawlessly. Perfectly written. It doesn't rush, but it is fast paced. Gaby and Alex are sexy and erotic and fun to read BUT, the ending was a little too predictable and is the only part of the story that seemed to have come out quicker than it should have....
Overall, really good short erotic novella!

Bound to Surrender is an erotic short story. It is a perfect read for an evening curled up on the couch or an afternoon by the pool.
In love but impoverished in their twenty’s, Gaby and Alex part ways under questionable circumstances. Ten years later, Alex is back in town talking business with Gaby’s father. That business sounds nefarious, but as is true with all magic, it is an illusion. The story is fast paced and primarily takes place over the course of a weekend. Plenty of back story is provided as the story evolves. The characters are well developed. My one complaint is that the story was wrapped up a little too quickly and conveniently.

Alex and Gaby ended their relationship years ago, it drove Alex to be successful so that he could get Gaby back into his grasp and plot his revenge by seducing her. This is a quick read that is as erotic and it is emotional. The story is intriguing and the characters come to life on the pages. My only wish is that it was longer, I loved it.

Very nice novella, I enjoyed it! Alex and Gaby enjoy a kidnapping with a ransom twist! Lovely idea with the magician as part of the erotica. The scenes and imagery made the book go smoothly. Very light erotica, and overall entertainment is four stars.

Gabriella and Alexander have a difficult past that is much more than what it seems. They make magic together. The story is hot, sweet, and interesting. A light read that gives you more than meets the eye. Another great read by this author :)
