3.5 Stars!

Third in the Bear Mountain series, "Double Bear," by Ruby Shae is the story of Samantha Hastings and grizzly bear shifter brothers, Cade and Collin Garrison. These sexy alpha men are twins!

Sam currently co owns/runs the local movie theatre with her father, who she still lives with as well. Sam is recently single; her verbally abusive boyfriend broke up with her. Ha, no loss as far as Sam is concerned! However, she can't deny the insecurity he caused in her about her weight.

The ex-boyfriend turns out to be more than just an a**hole!

Cade and Collin come to Bear Mountain, Montana to visit with their longtime friend whose wife is pregnant with twins. They decided to move here permanently. Prior to coming to Bear Mountain, Cade and Collin had no luck finding the perfect woman to share their lives with. Their mate. That is until their second day in town when they meet Sam for the first time. The twins know that she is the one for them, their mate. However because of Sam's insecurities, it takes her longer to be convinced that they could love and want her.

A super short, sexy story with some light suspense to give it a little depth. There definitely a HEA!

**What turned me off about this book, and I really liked the first two, was that both "heroes" are blatant managers and constantly share women. They aren't ashamed of their sexual pasts, nor do they seem to regret it after meeting heroine. Not even after a woman interrupts the three of them on a date and says they need to get together. It's obvious they'd slept with her in the past, and are now just irritated with her and that she's bothering them while they're obviously with someone. What ticked me off, and disgusted me, is when the heroine asked if they slept with her, the one flat out says they've slept with a lot of women, so it's possible. The other didn't recognize her either. It is not at all heroic, but is flat out gross, that they've slept with so many they can't remember who all they've been with, even when one is literally in their face. And, it also shows them as the trashy people they are because they have no attachment of any kind to those they've been with. They had sex with them and that was it...NEXT. I want to bleach my brain after suffering through their nauseating references to their vast sexual past.**

So, so

Not as good as the others, but sweet. Still had steamy moments.

The twins Cade and Collin went to Bear Mountain to make it their home. These identical twins shared everything. They longed for a mate, but weren't sure they would find one. When they did find her, they would love and protect her together for eternity.

Sam and her father owned the theater in Bear Mountain. She had been dumped by her boyfriend because of her curves and weight. He made her feel inferior. When she met the twins she salivate, but knew men like them would never consider a woman like her.

This love triangle has a lot to go through.

A nice enough read for the beach or if you are looking for a short read. I appreciate the author mixed it up a little, but it is still the same thing happening.

This was much like the other book I read in the series. It's a 3 star. Seemed to quick for me. I would have liked to have known the female character a little better. For someone who was so insecure about her weight and being seen naked she sure was quick (first date) to jump in bed with two hot hunks. but then who wouldn't be?

Samantha is co-owner of the movie theater in Bear Mountain with her dad. She’s a beautiful curvy woman who seemed confident before her recent ex said some very ugly things to her about her weight. She knew he wasn’t the right guy but was lonely and wanted someone during the holidays. Cade and Colin are drawn to Bear Mountain due to the energy of Kate’s babies. They see Sam while talking to Gage & Kate. Are instantly attracted and think she is their mate. They are twins who share everything, including women. They were night club owners who slept with a lot of women, I real didn’t like that part, I dropped the rating a star because of that.
Sam feels a pull to them also and decides that if they are serious she would like to get to know them and sleep with them. They don’t tell her they are moving to town, they make it seem like they are just visiting. So Sam thinks it’s temporary from the start. Things go well until her ex causes a little trouble and then when the guys take her out to cheer her up they run into a “club whore” from their past. She wants to hook up with them, they dismiss her but the damage for Sam has already been done. She wants one more night with them before ending things. Bad timing for the guys because they decide to tell her about their bear and immortality, she thinks they are telling her a crazy story so she will break up with them. She gets angry and leaves. Cade the more rash of the two shifts and runs into the forest, Colin follows, they leave Sam to walk home alone. She falls and hurts herself luckily Sheriff Gage sees her and takes her to the doctor. He and Kate explain bear shifters are real and Gage shifts to show her. The next morning her dad tells her to be happy and the guys finding out she was hurt rush to her house. They all profess their love and the guys give her their mate mark. Little drama with her crazy ex in between.
No epilogue. I really liked Sam’s character, she had been hurt but was willing to put herself out there again, she didn’t let her insecurities hold her back. The guys were more meh, not very alpha, I hated their manwhore ways and would really like them to wait for their fated mate. But I enjoy Ruby’s writing and will continue the series.

A short sweet read with Samantha, Cade and Collin making an adorable thrupple. Outside of the main characters there’s not a lot going on. The main point of the story is the twins finding their soul mate. Because it’s short There’s Not a lot of getting to know the characters or the residents of bear mountain resulting in a lack of depth and connection. The conflict of Jack should have been a pivotal moment for the plot however it made little to no consequence.
All that said it was a lovely little book and I enjoyed it

Cade and Collin Garrison return to Bear Mountain drawn by the energy of a shifter mate’s pregnancy. The identical twins meet Samantha their future mate and experience an immediate connection. Sam isn’t sure about the guys but when things take several strange twists they prove themselves to her. Great chemistry and heart. Sam’s able to tell them apart when nobody else can. I read this using my KU subscription.

Bear shifters are hot....twin bear shifters is off the charts. Love these guys Cade and Collin are identical twins that share everything including
Looking for their mate. Samantha is a curvy woman who has an ex that is a real jerk. Sparks fly and danger lurks. This threesome faces challenges and because Sam has no confidence she doubts the twins sincerity. I love these alpha males and can't wait to read the next book

Good light reading

I am enjoying this series. I just wish the stories were a little longer so you feel like you are getting to know the characters and the community the stories happen in. All in all a good read though!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Featuring a polyamorous relationship, this story offers a fresh twist in the Bear Mountain series. Sam’s internal conflict and the twins’ unwavering devotion build emotional complexity, but the plot sometimes feels stretched by the added complications. Still, the exploration of love beyond traditional boundaries is handled with warmth and care, making it an intriguing and heartfelt read.

While I'm still questioning some of the rules that are apparently established for this shifter-verse, I am enjoying the series. This one involves the Garrison twins, Cade and Collin who recognize the theatre owner's daughter, Sam as their mate. She's extra curvy and just out of a bad relationship with an emotionally abusive jerk and is therefore a bit insecure. She also thinks that the twins are only in town temporarily and have no idea they're looking at her as a permanent part of their lives.

Sam's insecurities did not bother me nearly as much as Ana's did in the previous book. This is primarily because the reasons for her insecurities are more or less explained and the heroine knows she's being ridiculous when she catches herself doing. And what makes up for it is that she also will stop herself from letting her insecurities take over. She's also not much of a runner - with one exception and I probably would have done the same walk if two guys tried to explain to me that they could turn into grizzly bears. Nicely handled menage story too (with surprisingly no anal, but I did question how two people could mate one woman in this shifter-verse without it).

Twin Bear's...

If one is good then two are better! Samantha who goes by Sam, never thought she would find true love. She thought because she was curvy and had some weight on her no man would want her. Didn't help that her ex was a jerk! Then she meets Collin and Case and everything changed. Now would she know that feeling of love? What did the twin bear's want from her? Well read and find out!

I love this cover, but this story is about *two* twin *blond* bear shifters that find their mate. So, as awesome as this guy is, another cover would have been better. Cute story, though, with a few typos. Someone seems to get the correct usage of gone and went confused... maybe it was the spell-check.

I usually don't get down with ménage books, not because I dislike the act itself, but because it's usually not done in a way that I can see happiness from all sides. This book actually accomplished that feat. Which is awesome.

I wasn't really sure about this story as it is about two men and one woman but the way it is written it just seemed to be a natural relationship for the three of them. I enjoyed it! Now I am on to the next book in this series.
