Every day is a gift worth celebrating—especially when you’ve died not once, but twice.
Ever since giving up her powers, Lee has had to adjust to life without magic. It’s never been harder than when she and boyfriend Raj McKenna travel to Paris to spend winter break with Lee’s duplicate, Gray, and her boyfriend, Adrian Montez.
Celebrating the holidays with the shifty warlock isn’t Lee’s idea of a holly jolly good time, but she fears poor Gray is still under the influence of a love spell. Why else would she settle down with the brute? It’s up to Lee to make sure her duplicate isn’t being duped.
Holiday Magic is a special edition Spellbound story about love, forgiveness and second chances.
(Recommended after reading the Spellbound Trilogy, but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone story. 11,000 words.)
Vampire hunters, wolf shifters, witches, elves and Fae with humor, romance, snark and steam. I love bad boys with hearts of gold and heroines who kick ass.

Holiday Magic is a cute short story that accompanies the Spellbound Series, except this time it features Lee and not Gray as the protagonist. Lee is suspicious about Gray now being in love with Adrian and suspects that Gray is still compelled under a spell. Determined to free her, Lee agrees to go to Paris with Raj to visit them for the holidays.
Holiday Magic was a quick read. The dynamics between the characters was good, although I wish it had been longer—I think a lot could have been done playing the characters off each other, and the end seemed a bit too “easy.” However, it’s a fun winter read and I’d recommend it to fans of the series.

A decade ago, I did a story for the Anchorage Daily News about a terminally ill teenager who had his wish granted to visit the set of Star Trek. It has stuck with me ever since. This holiday, I want to help grant wishes. There is nothing more powerful, more life changing than a dream.

Thank you for supporting dreams and the creative arts!
I love how effortlessly Ms. Jefford manages to move from different POV's between books! This was one fun addition to a stellar series that took you hostage!! Christmas makes for a wonderful reason why the sisters should meet up again. There is tension and a lot of space between the sisters. Will the holiday's magic be able to transcend the past? You'll have to read to find out 😉 Could this cover be any more amazing!?
Cute short story! It brings back the main squad! Raj, Lee, Gray and Adrian! Everyone has had a chance to finally move on. forgive and forget. just Lee needs that extra push! Hot cocoa and some cinnamon rolls might just do it!
The entire Spellbound gang is back and ready to celebrate the holidays in Holiday Magic! At least, everyone but Lee. She and Raj are heading off to Paris to spend Christmas and New Year with Gray and Adrian, but Lee isn’t too happy about it. She wants to check in on her duplicate though, since she thinks she’s still under the influence of a love spell. Once they arrive, there’s a lot of tension, since everyone knows how Lee feels about Adrian, but she’s the only one making things awkward.
Holiday Magic does start off quite negative. I totally understand why Lee feels the way she does, but she needs to let it go! People change! Sure Adrian and Charlene can’t really make up for what they did to her and Gray, but she can learn to look past it so they can all be a family. But then Raj gives her the best present ever! I totally guessed what it was going to be, but that didn’t ruin Lee’s reaction for me. That was super sweet and I think a perfect ending to this series.
This novella counts as book 3.5 in the trilogy, a little Christmas story that ties up a few loose ends in the set, especially helping Lee get some closure with Adrian. One question I was left with: did Nikki Jefford take a Christmas trip to Paris with her husband and get to write it off as research for this story?
I thought this was a great addition to a wonderful series. You get to see where Raj and Lee are after the whole double Gray situation. They are actually doing great and their love for each other has grown stronger. Lee learns to let go of the past and move on. She also has a wonderful surprise at the end of the book!
