Tang san is the hero and he is a human who was reborn into another world
Xiao wu is the heroine and a rabbit spirit beast

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
I watched both the donghua version (chinese animation) for this one and read it as well. I love the relationship between the characters, not just Tang san and xiao wu but the relations they have with their friends. This is by far my favorite donghua. Tang san is so overpowering but I love it. He is so intelligent, cunning, loyal and the way he protects and sacrifices for xiao wu would give me shivers. For Tang san, xiao wu is also willing to give up her soul and lifespan for him to live. When Tang san resurrects xiao wu I cried from joy. Tang san is also very caring and protective towards xiao wu and was even willing to remove one of his soul bones (he removed his leg) for her to escape. The pain was horrendous but he did that without hesitation. When he said if anyone wants to hurt xiao wu, they had to step over his dead body first was really true. He said that line when they were kids and he really meant it as he protects her every time.

Both of them would be willing to die for each other and I watch their bond become stronger from childhood till now. I need the donghua to be complete lol. Need more episodes. It's a happy ending from what I read. If anyone sees this review I highly recommend you watching it. Honestly, this love is the greatest love I've ever seen and the love they have is so pure and strong, it is undeniable.

So what if you’re human or not? So what if you're a spirit beast or not? All I know is that you are my little sister. Also, the person I love.

By sister it is not incest btw, they have no blood relationships or anything like that

You are the first man to comb my hair, and also the only one. Forever and ever. No matter our future, in my heart, there is no space in my heart for another.

I started reading this Chinese web novel since mid of May 2020 or so. It was quite a long read as it has 236 chapters, and the MC has gone through a long journey since he was six (I think) to get to the peak of his cultivation. He was only in his mid-twenties when he accomplishes what was impossible for the rest of the world. And phew! I am so glad he finally did it. It would break my heart and annoyed me if he did not get the well-deserving rewards for going through hell so many freaking times. Great job, Tang San!

It was satisfying seeing the MC gaining and kept increasing his power after completing each of his mission with his hard work and unfailing dedication. I love it when he is in OP mode. So proud of him. All is well and great except for some odd reasons I kind of dislike the MC's girlfriend. Her character annoys me some times. I do love the MC's buddies, though. They are precious and a joy to be around. It's fun when they all get together. Their bond is so tight. Tighter than real siblings. How awesome is that? Envious.

Actually, I came to know about this web novel when I saw the anime (animated) adaption to it. It was really good! The anime is still ongoing for now, and I am 100% going to catch all of it. I have also started reading the manga adaption of it, but I kind of left it hanging for now and concentrated on finishing the novel first. I sure would pick up the manga again, as soon as I could while waiting for the anime to complete. I have also heard that there will be a drama adaptation of this novel coming soon. I am very excited about it, especially when it has one of my favourite actors in it; Xiao Zhan is such a gem. He has superb acting skills and gorgeous as well.

Quite good, this chinese novel translated by a group of passionate persons has really left a good impression on me, what really felt great about this novel and made it different from other chinese wuxia is the group interaction in which the main is part of and their developement throughout tournaments and combat.
In the world of douluo where might make right and strength dictate the law, a man in reincarnated and start anew as the son of a blacksmith, he keep the memories of his past life as a genius of 'Tang sect' the most reputed assassin group of his past world, these memories of martial skills will help him in a continent where each person has a spirit that is inhirited, as it turn out he has a 'trash' spirit but with a remarkable potential, we follow him as he enter an academy that is designed for 'monsters' geniuses with outstanding growth, as it turn out the academy had 3 students that is until he enters

This story remain fun and exciting, the humour is pleasant in the context of some powers and doesn't turn to the ridiculous.

I recommand it especially to people who search something that contain teamwork fighting, by the way the cover on this page is really bad.

Typical Chinese web novel with the Xianxia elements, a lot more focus on the early school life & fight sequences.

Read a Fan translation from Chinese to English

Initially felt like this was Chinese Harry Potter. I got into the books after watching the excellent animation series. I watched till episode 87 which works out to be around chapter 139 in the books, considering the series has 336 chapters, the anime has roughly covered 40% of the books till date.

Most of the world-building and character development must have been in the initial chapters which I skipped on considering I had seen the animation. The reading experience was great at first but the more I read the more bugged I got with the heavy emphasis on battle descriptions and we have tons of those. I am not a fan of reading out long fight sequences between two people and about 60-70% of the book covers that. Seeing the same in animation or manhua is great but reading it was a painful experience.

I liked it. There were several major flaws with the series though.

I've read up to volume 23/45 so far, here are the issues:
(1) IRRELEVANCIES, more than I have ever seen. There are a lot of fight scenes. A lot a lot. So many. Every other chapter. This doesn't make this an objectively bad book, since many people do like to read fight scenes even when they don't advance the story. However, I personally don't enjoy them, so that was a major reason why I didn't like this book more. If you happen to like that kind of fight scene, then read this book, it's good. Lots of effort put in to those scenes. (Honestly at this point I'm wondering whether I'm just reading the wrong books. If you can suggest xianxia that doesn't have such a -crudely termed- fight fetish, then please let me know)
(2) Power creep. Power levels are not handled consistently in this series. So many others do a much better job. One minute they are telling you that people in the 70s are deadly to the main characters, the next minute the main characters are beating up a couple level 80s. The main character routinely solos people who are 20-30 levels above him despite the book repeatedly trying to tell us that they are unbeatable by lower ranked people. I think the most obvious inconsistency is speed. When the main character is fighting truly bad guys that are higher level than him, the book always references how they move so fast that he cannot see or react to them, but when he is in combat with identically leveled non-evil people suddenly, even though they are higher level, he can see their every move and plan 3 steps ahead of them.

The fantasy Dou Luo Da Lu by Tang Jia San Shao is about the story of Tang San. At the beginning of the story, Tang San was drove away from Tangmen for stealing the secret skills of learning, but found that he did not die when he jumped on a cliff, but instead came to another world with another identity. At the middle of the story, Tang San find out that in the world, there is no fighting, no martial arts, but magic. Everyone here, at the age of six, will awaken the warrior soul in the martial arts hall. Wu spirit has animals, plants and implements, and martial spirit can help people's daily life. Some of the most outstanding warriors can be used for training and fighting. This occupation is the most powerful and glorious career "soul teacher" on the mainland.
Tang three started his path of spiritual cultivation in Holy Spirit village and sprouted the dream of revitalizing Tang gate. At the end of the story, when Tang San warrior awakened, he cast the glory of Tang gate in this world of warrior spirit. This story tells us that we need to be brave and kind to anyone.

A generic overview rating since unfortunately this is a retrospective review (about a year on since I actually read the story!).

Alhamdulillah a lovely story suggestion provided by my father and a story I've now gone by referring to as doludoludoludolu (rather fun to say).

I love the power system in this book and the growing themes of love and family and honour genuinely included all the elements that got me into reading in the first place - perhaps my first Wuxia in a while (unless I read Martial world first - I think this was first tho!) and so addictive as they always seem to be.

Definitely on the re-read list and love the trial saga and the stakes of the fight felt very very vivid, also enjoy the fact that the common ending trope of losing all their powers/cultivation was approached in a more tasteful manner that boosted other side characters to being a meaningful cast.

Also really enjoy that it's one main love interest as opposed to the harem behaviour typically common

Really really really good. Thank you very much to Bagelson for the great translation. Tang Jia Shan Shao's stories are distinct from the other novels I read but in a very good way. I'm a big fan of his other novel HJC. Reading daily/weekly chapter releases have been a part of my routine for years now.

One of the many things I like about this novel is the simplicity of the levels. It is very easy to keep track of. Plus, a lot of the other novels say early on that Level A is very hard to achieve but when MP reaches that level it is suddenly common and easily trampled. Instead its Level B that's really truly strong! Then the process repeats itself until Level X or something. I do not hate it because most plots involve transcending planets/heavens but I feel cheated when it happens.

The emotional roller coaster is finally at an end. Deep contented breath. I had to put aside this book several times; for a few weeks the last time around, just because of the intense rush of emotions. I didn't want my heart to hurt, then I didn't want the journey with the Shrek Seven to end either.

Although I'm not certain to read this book again (so many many words), I will certainly continue to watch the animated series which is very close to the source material.

The Shrek Seven Devils will forever be held in a special place in my heart

At first, this was good (the idea was actually new at the time), but as time went on the plot was harder to follow. I think that is an ok read for the people that are just starting to get into this type of book. If not then I would not read it.

I liked the story, but was not satisfied with the second half of it. I got a feeling that everyone except for mc was neglected, they existed but almost none of them played any significant role at the end ;-;
