Protected by the Bikers Next Door

Rate this book
Single mom rule #1: stay away from trouble. But the trouble lives next door… and they’re impossible to resist.

Moving into a new apartment was supposed to be a fresh start—for me and my daughter.
Quiet neighborhood. Clean slate. No chaos.
Instead, I end up living next door to three dangerously addictive men.
Engines roaring. Parties raging. And the Shadow Pack MC wrecking my peace with every smoldering look.
We clash at first—hard.
Then the roses show up on my doorstep.
The photos.
The notes that someone’s watching me.
I need protection.
They offer it… with strings.
Wolf — the President. All command and cold fire. He doesn’t ask—he claims. And when he says I’m his, it’s not just for safety.
Bear — the gentle giant. Soft with my daughter, sinful with his hands. He wants to heal me… but the burn between us might break us instead.
Hawk — the shadow. Silent. Lethal. One touch from him and I forget every reason I had to stay away.
They’ve shared women before.
Now, they want to share me.
But can I really surrender to this wild, impossible love?
Because when my past returns—with blood on its hands—
The only place I’ve ever truly been safe...
Is in their arms.
All of them.

A stand-alone reverse harem biker romance with forbidden heat, heart-stopping danger, and a guaranteed HEA!

The writing is stilted and so is the dialogue. For being such a concerned mother, Harper let Wolf f*** her on the kitchen counter without thinking that her daughter might wake up and come looking for her.

And there was no discussion of birth control when she slept with any of the guys, even though she has seen the club bunnies and also seen how the club brothers indiscrimately had sex during club parties. She's not even thinking that she might catch an STD, let alone get pregnant! 🙄 I didn't have much respect for her intelligence or self-preservation instincts.

As for Wolf, he said he was awake because he was on watch duty, but after happily sticking his dick in her, he goes up to her room and falls asleep. So much for being on watch duty.

The way she walks downstairs dressed in sexy lingerie to signal that she wants all three of them? It didn't sound like something a woman like her would do and it felt like a very unnatural scene. I could see her wearing the lingerie and waiting in the bedroom, but not walking down to the kitchen in it.

Not to mention that she has a stalker but doesn't want to tell the guys about her past, even though the info might help them to keep her safe? It makes no sense to me. I thought she was TSTL, and this was only confirmed when she left the clubhouse without an escort and then skedaddled to her best friend's place with the stalker issue still unresolved. I fully expected her to get kidnapped on the way or for the stalker to force his way into her house as she was packing. Fortunately she didn't, but she very well could have. The stalker messed up and missed this golden opportunity.

Harper's TSTL tendencies were further confirmed when she decides to give herself up because then the villain would let another innocent woman go. She trusts his word? Even after knowing who and what he is and what he has done? Geez woman! For all you know, that other lady is already dead! And then in the showdown, she taunts him, asking him, "Are you not a man of your word?" Please, girl, this is a murderer and a criminal, wtf you thinking?!?!

As for her background, I'm not sure that witness protection works the way she described, especially with her ex. And the guys' plan to catch the stalker? Sending Harper into a dive bar that they've seen him enter, to get him to approach her openly? Come on. If I were stalking a person and she suddenly turned up in a dive bar when she never goes to such places -- especially a dive bar in my territory -- I would be super suspicious. It was a lousy plan.

All in all, a very lacklustre book. I will not read anything else by this author.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Harper was a great female lead and her daughter, Jenny was adorable. I loved that Jenny took to the bikers straight away, especially Bear (who was very aptly named as he came across as a big teddy bear of a man). In fact, all three main men had great nicknames that suited their characters to a tee. It was nice to read about an MC that weren’t carrying out illegal operations which worked out great in the end. I also loved the curveball thrown in about Harper and she ended up living next door to the three MC members - I did not see that coming!!

This was an easy read and flowed quite naturally. Each of the guys had very distinct personalities and were well written as characters - although Bear was my favourite!! Definitely well worth a read.

Tia Quinn delivers a thrilling mix of danger, passion, and unexpected family in Protected by the Bikers Next Door. This stand-alone reverse harem biker romance is equal parts fiery chemistry and edge-of-your-seat suspense.

For a single mom, moving into a new apartment was supposed to mean peace, safety, and a fresh start. Instead, her new neighbors are the Shadow Pack MC—three irresistible men whose lives are anything but quiet. At first, sparks fly in all the wrong ways. But when strange notes, roses, and stalkers from her past begin to threaten her world, she’s forced to rely on the very men she swore to avoid.

Wolf is the commanding president, all authority and raw intensity. Bear is the protector with a gentle soul and dangerous hands. Hawk is the silent shadow, lethal and magnetic. Together, they offer not only protection, but a love that challenges every rule she’s set for herself.

Packed with heart-stopping danger, scorching heat, and a heroine worth rooting for, this reverse harem romance delivers on every level. The bond between the bikers and the single mom is as passionate as it is protective, proving that sometimes, the safest place to fall is into arms that are impossible to resist.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A gripping, addictive read for fans of dark, protective romance with a guaranteed HEA.

Protected by the Bikers Next Door by Tia Quinn pulled me in from page one and didn’t let go. As a single mom, I instantly connected with that need for a clean slate, a safe place to raise her daughter, and the exhaustion of carrying it all on her own. But instead of peace and quiet, she gets Wolf, Bear, and Hawk—three bikers who should scream “trouble”… and yet somehow feel like salvation.
What I loved most was how each man brought something different to the table: Wolf with his commanding presence that dares you not to obey, Bear with his gentle heart (especially the way he is with her daughter—my heart melted), and Hawk with his quiet, lethal devotion that says more in a touch than most can in words. The chemistry between them was scorching, but it wasn’t just about the heat—it was about her learning what it feels like to finally be protected.
The suspense with the stalker, the roses and notes, the past crashing into the present—it gave me chills and kept the pages flying. And through it all, the strength of this little found family grew until I was rooting for all four of them to hold on tight and never let go.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Steamy, dangerous, and surprisingly tender. This book proves that sometimes the trouble next door is exactly what you’ve been needing all along.

“Don’t expect us to start acting like Boy Scouts just because you didn’t do your research before you moved in.” And I’m reminded of why I don’t like him.
“Don’t expect me not to call the police next time if you can’t follow the law,” I reply, smiling sweetly as I turn on my heel and, with all the integrity I can muster in my ratty pajamas, storm out.

I loved this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. Harper was a strong and fearless heroine- she would do anything to protect her young daughter, Jenny- even walk into a house party of rowdy men and half naked women and assertively demand they turn down the music and public indecency. Her fire catches Wolf (Logan), Bear (Ezra), and Hawk's (Silas) attention. I loved the way their relationship developed. It was fun and they had great chemistry. And the guys immediately stepped up to help her whenever she needed it- which I absolutely loved. Of course Jenny took a liking to them right away- the girl's got good taste after all! While I loved all the guys, Bear's the sweetest- especially with Jenny. The issue with the stalker adds suspense, tension, and danger. I was hooked.

This is the first story I've read by this author and I will definitely be reading more! 5 stars

Single mom Harper and the bikers next door ignite with fast, undeniable chemistry. Wolf, the intense president, commands Harpers passion. Bear is the mix of tenderness and danger, while Hawk remains the silent shadow—deadly and captivating all at once. With them, Harper discovers more than protection—she finds a love tender enough to heal and strong enough to last.

The guys are wonderful with Harper’s sweet daughter Jenny, creating that perfect found family vibe. The story is packed with suspense, passion, and heart—the perfect blend of danger and devotion.

I would have loved just a little more background on the characters to deepen the connection, but overall this was a sweet, suspenseful, and passionate read.

She just wanted to start over and keep her daughter safe. I love how she just stormed right over to their house and demanded them to turn down the music. When her daughter was sick she knew they would help. When she crossed the line with Wolf she didn't know what to think. Then their was Bear and being with him felt just as natural. Hawk was worried she might not accept him but boy was he wrong. When they all finally let things progress that's when her past shows up. I think together they will be able to accomplish anything. I would love to read more about the new neighbors.

Starting over with her daughter was all she wanted. Her names were loud partying bikers. When she is in danger those same bikers would do anything to protect her. This why chose reverse harem has a little of everything, alphaholes, touch her and die protection and three biker men who want to share her. The spice in this book is off the charts. Tia Quinn comes through again with this amazing addition to the Never Just One series.
