I debated on what review, if any, that I would write. I found this book after 3 or 4 DNFs and really had high hopes until about she found out the big “secret”. After that the storyline went downhill like an Olympic skier.

Here’s the thing… this girl ( and that’s what she turned out to be… a whiny little girl) somehow went from being a quiet woman to leading Mafia armies? I doubt she even ever held let alone shot any kind of weapon, but she somehow is given an assault rifle and is planning strategic attacks on a compound? Give me a f-ing break.

I regret the time I spent reading this book.

Dark Mafia Crown: cosi cosi

With all the many selections available, and of course for the hype, this was not as well written as others that are being tossed out. The ridiculous plot, the verbiage, the redundancy of it all! Marco is Italian. Y'know, Mafia guy. Was this the Italian boss who had never been to Italy though? That wasn't a problem itself, only that I don't recall, as this book wasn't that memorable. Noticeable enough, and highlighted, is a major duplication error of chapters- in a final print, no less. A nagging curiosity hit me when the author's usage of Italian endearment, naturally for the MFC's ears only, picked up in chapter 41ish? What made the author choose this style right at the epilogue? I always wonder ...
Additionally, the main and side characters did not make a lasting impression.
For me, I'm glad it was a single stand-alone.
In all fairness, read it and form your own opinion.

Dark Mafia Crown is another amazing story by this talented author. I get hooked on her stories from the first page.

Aria's sister is missing and so Aria has to cover for her at her waitressing job. Marco is the mafia don and is waiting to catch a rival family in his area. When he sees Aria he is drawn to her beauty but he thinks her name is her sister's. Aria gets tricked into marrying Marco in place of her sister. Aria is such a strong character. I love how she fought for herself when she met Marco.

There are secrets and twists in Aria and Marco's story so you will be trying to figure it all out. If you love twists this is the story for you.

currently reading at 34%. so I'm unsure if I'm going to pick this back up or not but this book does have a lot of spelling mistakes like using the word Ross instead of Rossi and sometimes make statements to contradicts themselves.

it's also a very repetitive and rehashes the same thing over and over and over again. it's also blatantly doing the miscommunication no communication trope. like there's multiple times were one of the characters will say something in their head but not actually say that to the person and then they'll say something that like really needs that information for the other character to understand.

I've read some Mafia books in the past but I gotta say this is 1 of the better ones. There is mystery, deception And vengeance. But it comes down to 1 word love. In the long run it's love that Moose throughout this story in the various characters love of the sister love of the family love of the 1 you need to be with. I read well on edge throughout the book Trying to figure out what she would do . And at the end it was a surprise a nice surprise but it was a perfect ending for this book.

I love Marco and Aria, but I really do not care for Aria's twin sister, Chiara. Chiara leave Aria to clean up her mess. Marco instantly liked Aria, but does not like Chiara even though they have the same face. Marco ends up very protective of Aria, even from her twin sister. This book was exciting and well written. Loved reading this book.

DNF. I really tried to like this book. I only got halfway through. The one sister is ridiculously selfish and the other sister is self sacrificing. I overlooked that part. And then the main character female, Aria, becomes TSTL. The amount of stupidity, this woman exhibits was beyond my ability to tolerate. She knows that she is being hunted. So of course she packs her bags and blindly goes away from the one place that is keeping her safe only to be abducted immediately. She deserves to die.

Aria was only covering her twin sister Chiaras shift and now she was married to mafia don Marco, she should have spike up before the kiss, before the wedding but now she has to live a lie or is it one Marco already knows and is determined to keep! Lost potential

This book could have been so good if it hadn't been ridiculously predictable. Personally I just like it when it starts out with the one-night stand a few minutes after they meet. He spreads her legs so far that it hurts and then he slips off her pants should have been the other way around. I like the cover picture though. Too bad it did not live up to the blurb.

This is a new author for me, but one I will continue to enjoy! The plot held your interest throughout the book. The main characters were believable and very relatable. If you love mafia stories, you'll love this one! I can't wait to read the next book by this author.

Great Read

Kayla Mason did an excellent job with the details and description of the characters in this book. The story was exciting, I read it non stop. Aria and Marco's story was exciting. I was hoping her sister would get her own story. I'm hoping Nicolo will have his own story too ! Vengeance, war & love.

The story itself was good. I just felt like the couple was lacking. They def needed more on page draw. A couple big discrepancies in the story telling were glaring to me but nothing that took away from the book. Over just okay for me.
