His Broken Protector

Rate this book
To save my family from ruin, I had to say ‘I do’ to Arthur Forrest.

The city's most feared man. A broken military hero with a fortune as vast as his violent temper. And, as I discovered on our wedding night, the exact same sinfully handsome stranger I'd drunkenly dared to kiss just days before.

This arranged marriage was supposed to be a simple business deal. A contract to chain me to a cruel protector I had to endure. But his possessive touch sets my skin on fire, and the way he guards me from the enemies circling us makes me question everything. He looks at me like I'm his only salvation, and I'm terrified I'm starting to agree.

But there are secrets coiled in the heart of the Forrest empire, darker and deadlier than even Arthur's personal demons. The same trauma that shattered him is a conspiracy that now targets us both. He thinks he's protecting me, but I'm the only one who can heal the monster within. And if I fail, his darkness will consume us whole.

This is a standalone, steamy contemporary romance with a guaranteed happily ever after,
✔ An intense arranged marriage to a billionaire CEO
✔ A scarred, broken hero with a dark past
✔ A smart, strong heroine who can save him
✔ High-stakes romantic suspense and family drama

Maybe a 2.5 star. I liked the characters and for a good bit it flowed pretty good; until it didn't. I think it needed better editing; that was the worst part.
