Emily Townsend needs closure. And she will do anything to get it, including visit a local BDSM club. What she doesn’t expect is for the sexy man she’s been ogling for three weeks to waltz over to her table and dominate her in a way she’s never experienced.

Rider Henderson doesn’t do newbies. Or girlfriends. But the cute pixie hanging around his club has drawn him to her side like a magnet. Perhaps if he took her on as a trainee, he could purge her from his system.

The steam between Emily and Rider is undeniable. Not only is she a natural submissive, but she also enjoys watching him fight. That doesn’t change the fact Rider doesn’t want a permanent woman hanging around, nor does Emily have any interest in sharing Rider with her family or coworkers. It’s a summer fling. Nothing more.

This book was better then the last one to say the least. I must say I did enjoy the older woman and younger guy romance. This was cute but I didn't like the way she ended this storyline, however I'm not going to raise to much hell about it because the author has a way of making her books flow into the next one to give you some type of closure for the pervious characters.

I had such high hopes for Ryders story! Maybe my expectations I set were to high, maybe I anticipated to much hotness from this sexy Dom police officer! Whatever the reason I was disappointed! He wasn't as Dom of as alpha as he should have been! The story was just so so it had all the set up and potential to be great but felt flat and mediocre. Not my favorite! 2.5 sad wishy washy stars!

It seems I am completely hooked on this series, I loved the story of a shy but feisty Emily, Rider who is very dominant and fighting against this strange attraction he feels for this pixie of a woman. I can go on and on blabbing how I love it all, but in other words: I adored this book. Maybe it’s because I once was a school librarian, just like Emily and I could so relate to everything happening to her.
Emily Townsend’s sister died so suddenly that she needs closure. She is willing to do anything to get it, including visit a local BDSM club (and hey, she has read about it so it’s not that strange). What she doesn’t expect is for the sexy man she’s been ogling for three weeks to waltz over to her table and dominate her in a way she’s never experienced.
Rider Henderson doesn’t do newbies. Or girlfriends. But the cute pixy hanging around his club has drawn him to her side like a magnet. Perhaps if he took her on as a trainee, he could purge her from his system.
The steam between Emily and Rider is undeniable. Not only is she a natural submissive, but she also enjoys watching him fight. That doesn’t change the fact Rider doesn’t want a permanent woman hanging around, nor does Emily have any interest in sharing Rider with her family or co-workers. Emily talks herself into believing it’s just a summer fling, nothing serious. Rider still thinks he can walk away after the weeks with Emily…

I enjoyed this book more so than the previous one, Need. I felt like I enjoyed the characters a little more as the story was a little different than the first two. Em was a natural submissive for Rider and when they both accepted what it was they were feeling for one another then they were finally able to move further along in to an actual relationship. Rider fought long and hard for weeks telling himself and all his mates that all Em was to him was a trainee and that was it. Everyone else could see what he felt for Em, even he knew deep down he had feelings for her he just didn't want to accept what that meant for him.

Cops, Bikes, Tats and MMA

I have read this book many times. Shocked I never reviewed it. I love the Fight Club Series. Although this book is part of a series, and would be best read as such, it is still a stand alone book. Cops, bikes, tats, and MMA, my favorite things all nicely wrapped up in a splendid drama induced fighting lust filled story. Just makes me smile. I am a huge fan of this author, and although my review is a year plus late from the first time I’ve read this book, note, I’ve read this book more than once. This won’t be the last time I’ve read it either.

This was a Hot read!
I don't think that Rider knew, but the first time he saw Emily, it was love at first site.
He said it himself. He does take on trainee. He prefer a submissive w/ experience.
It was different w/ Emily, because he was attracted to Emily.
Rider tried not to fall in love w/ Emily, but it was no use.
I liked the idea of a MMA fighter w/ a librarian.
I thought they complimented each other.
Great HEA!

Rider Henderson doesn't do newbies or relationships. He doesn't have the time. And yet, he offered to train Emily Townsend, the buttoned-up, innocent woman who has been sitting in the corner for the past three weeks. The joke's on him because Emily is a natural submissive and the most responsive woman he's ever been with. Odds seem to be stacked against them as both parties have a host of reasons why they can't be together long term. Too bad their hearts didn't get the memo.

He's a cop. A motorcycle cop. Named Rider. (And an MMA fighter and Dom.) What is not to like about this premise? Honestly, this wasn't as enjoyable as #2 (or #4, it turns out). I still liked it enough to keep going with the series. And honestly, the premise is super-hot. Also...there's a scene where he pulls her over that is pure gold.

It was a good read. I liked Emily and Rider, but not as much as the couples from the first two books. I liked the idea of the age difference between them, but would not consider her a cougar. Her original reason to go the club was interesting, but I get where she was coming from. He can be a bit reactionary, but in the end has a good heart. I was give this book for an honest opinion.

Last chapter It was very confusing having Rider and Henderson in an operation. Could t she have used a different name? And switching from first to last name, I got confused of who was doing what.

Good read. Just stupid editing stuff.

Finished reading it a second time

Let me go on record and say how sexy these books are!!!! This is quite possibly my favorite one in the series yet! The chemistry between the two main characters is hard to deny and hard to ignore. The chemistry jumps right off the page, and I am here for it! I could not put it down!!!!!

Reads like old-school kink romance. A lot of explaining and protocol stuff (I hate it when the dom makes the heroine look down and she's not allowed to speak, so unsexy) and the kink stuff is time and light as if the author were afraid to delve deeper. C

Rider and Emily were amazing from the beginning. Emily, a school librarian, is a natural submissive even though she is very naive to the bdsm lifestyle. Rider, a police officer and amateur mma fighter, is a Dom. Emily visits Extreme looking for answers about her sisters death, even though she finds none, she keeps going back week after week. Rider noticed her from day one. He is inexplicably drawn to her and offers to show her the lifestyle and train her in submission. Will Rider leave Emily to find a full-time dom, will Emily find any answers about her sisters overdose. Read on and find out. Highly recommended. I listened to the audible edition and enjoyed it.

Need

Rider "The Enforcer " Henderson aka cop, MMA fighter and Dom. Emily aka sub and librarian. Together they make one heck of a couple. Need is my favorite book in Becca Jameson's The Fight Club Series. This couple is smoking hot together , Rider brings his Dom skills to an entire new level to train Emily in the way of life of a sub. He will break every rule and in the process possible lose his heart to the blond bombshell. I highly recommended this series, you will not be disappointed.

Glad I purchased

This is another well written and edited addition to this series. The storyline is interesting and the characters are complex. I love the audio option!
