Me again! Miss Roxanna Kyst. Mrs. Roxanna Kyst-Lomond. Yep, I fell for him.
That was against the rules. The subconscious rules. And, boy, do I feel like an idiot. Don’t fall for the, “…suave, charming, everything the hungry media says,” billionaire heartthrob. Be honest, I didn’t stand a chance.
Weddings aren’t my thing. They’re the thing of my BFF Jane. What better to do than hand the planning over to her? No, there’s no ulterior motive. Nope, none, absolutely not…
Okay, so there was no ulterior motive to start with. Now? We have time for a last-minute twist. This is one you don’t want to miss!

Writing has always been a big part of my life. Since I was a child I've known exactly where my passion lay. No matter what's gone on in my life writing has been my touchstone. After all, we all need a place to escape to. Reading is my idea of heaven. There's nothing I like more than to switch everything off, close the bedroom door, and curl up with a good book. I have a feeling that's something all at Goodreads can identify with.
Thanks for taking the time with me today. Now do something for yourself, go and curl up in your own reading heaven.
I absolutely love this series and have been eagerly anticipating Roxie’s and Zairn’s wedding. And for the most part it lived up to my expectations. The banter, the playfulness, the hysterical side characters, the way Roxie and Zairn love each other … everything I love about this series. The beginning of the story was great, the ending was amazing. I loved the actual wedding, loved the vows, the reception, the party at Crimson.
So why didn’t I rate it higher. … one word Jane. Ugh!! I cannot stand that insipid character. Her book is my least favorite, and if I had to choose between Roman and Jane, Roman wins hands down. Sorry not sorry. Whiny, whimpering, sniveling, insecure Jane had me skimming page upon page in the middle of the book leading up to the wedding. Her being so upset about the night before the wedding and the morning of the wedding (no spoilers but iykyk) was so ridiculous I felt like Roxie with my eye rolling just slipping out. I just don’t understand why Jane had to be so involved in this book (despite her being Roxie’s best friend and the wedding planner). To me she sucks the heart and soul from the book- even though I know she’s supposed to be lovable and sympathetic. Nope not to me.
Give me more Toria, more Tripp, more anyone. Such a waste because without Jane being crammed down my throat I would have rated this higher. Believe me I wanted to.
