Rate this book
"The old signal caller takes you into the huddle and into the CFL's boardroom..". -- Toronto Sun One of the last Canadian quarterbacks, Frank Cosentino's lifelong commitment to the game and writing about its history has educated several generations of football players and fans. In A Passing Game, rather than endless stats or play by play commentary on games of the past, Consentino shows a side of the Canadian Football League rarely seen -- what motivates the owners, what decisions are made in the boardrooms, what are the political crises and what are the political conveniences ... A Passing Game reflects on what is so Canadian about the CFL.

A look at the tumultuous history of the CFL from 1969-1994 (written by former CFL quarterback Frank Cosentino). Super informative book! What I found interesting was how the author did not focus on the actual game of football, but more so the inner-workings of the league. Lots of wheeling and dealing between organizations, with lots of shady ownership!

On a side note, the editing of this book was awful! One of the worst edited books I’ve ever read. So many mistakes that should have been caught and corrected!
