Christina is an author of clean contemporary and historical romances, some with faith-based elements. She also owns and operates Redbud Row Publishing.
But that's not why you came here, is it? You want to know more about Christina.
Christina—just Christina—has no beginning, since she was found in a strange vessel looking like a giant meteorite. She was raised in a small farmhouse in Kansas by Jonathan and Martha Kent, where, once she became a young lady she was swept up in a giant cyclone and carried off to a magical place called Oz. She spent a considerable amount of time unconscious and running from flying monkeys and wicked witches while recovering from a head injury. She eventually woke, but not before dancing on a golden brick road in ruby red shoes with her friends Lion, Scarecrow and Tinman, and discovering that there really is no place like home.
She began penning tales on a steam train shortly after it was held up by Jesse James at her favorite theme park in Kansas City. However, she spent twenty years earning a doctorate in domestication and life before she traveled to New York and applied for a position at the Daily Planet. Of course, domestication skills and big dreams did not qualify her for the job, so she sought out smaller venues for her muse.
And if you believe all of that she has beachfront property on the moon she'll give you for the right price.
I absolutely adored this story! Right from the start, with Aunt Esther matchmaking, I knew this romance would be something special.
Malachi already has so much on his plate watching baby Jeb, running his business, and caring for Aunt Esther. The last thing he wants is someone else depending on him. His biggest fear is failure, and he is determined never to marry, never to risk becoming like the other men in his family. But when Aunt Esther’s meddling brings April to town, all his plans fall apart. What starts as him rejecting her plans...turns into April staying to help with Jeb and care for his aunt. It is the perfect arrangement, if only she would give up her ideas for his store and if he could ignore his growing feelings for her!
April has no plans to marry again. Independence is all she wants for herself and her baby on the way. But if she ever did change her mind, Malachi would be perfect. Too bad neither of them wants a future together… or do they?
These two were the sweetest. I feel like I grow so much reading stories with godly, kind, selfless characters who give everything to others. Even in their brokenness, they find peace. This book had sadness and healing, but also that reminder that joy comes in the morning. The chemistry between them was off the charts, and their love for Esther and Jeb was the glue that kept drawing them closer together.
I gave this 4.5 rounded to a 5!
I received complimentary copy. This review reflects my honest opinion.
CW: mention of family members tragic passing/suicide/criminal behavior.

Oh my goodness!! This is the second book I've read by Ms. Rich and I definitely will be reading more of her stories!! I felt the characters emotions they were going through as if I was right there. I absolutely enjoyed Great Aunt Esther and her matchmaking skills!! She was determined her nephew would marry widow, April. Second chances, small town, love, hope, faith, pregnant widow, family and overcoming past tragedy. I highly recommend this sweet, heartwarming, Christian romance!! I was given a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.
Malachi Stoltzfus is raising his nephew and also taking care of his aunt Ester who has dementia. April Beiler lost her husband and daughter in a house fire. She is also currently pregnant. Aunt Ester invited April to go stay with her. Thinking that she can use Malachi's storefront for her new business. How will Malachi feel about that? I really loved reading this story and loved the characters. I even found myself laughing at times throughout. I received an ARC from the author. All opinions are my own.
HIS AMISH MARRIAGE OFFER by Christina Rich is the fabulous, heart-tugging story of Malachi Stoltzfus and April Beiler. One is trying to make peace with the past and move forward and the other is letting the past dictate their future. Could peace and answers be as close as helping each other!
With a cheating, drunkard father who left the Amish and his family and a mentally ill mother who committed suicide, Malachi, at 32 and fearful of history repeating itself, is still a bachelor. He refuses to saddle someone with his past. Lovingly raising his nephew, after his brother disappearance, with Aunt Esther’s memory spells becoming more frequent and an ever-increasing work load, he knows he needs help. Shocked when his deceased cousin’s pregnant wife showed up (at Aunt Esther’s invitation), maybe she’s an answer to a prayer as a nanny for Jeb and a companion for Esther – a purely business arrangement. A wife is the last thing he needs!
April has seen her share of hardship and sorrow. She’d once entered into a loveless marriage. While her affections for her husband increased, his didn’t. Often verbally abusive, she found that she could do nothing right. The marriage did bless her with a daughter. A horrific accident took the life of both husband and daughter leaving her at the mercy of the community who had often looked down on them for her husband’s actions. Feeling they begrudged their responsibility of seeing to her needs, she was happy when her husband’s great aunt contacted her about moving to Garnett, Kansas with prospects of opening her own store. The chance of becoming independent, able to support herself and her child, and for once in her life being able to make her own choices had her saying YES. She doesn’t need a husband!
Will Aunt Ester’s matchmaking scheme be successful or a big flop? Does observing Malachi and seeing that a man doesn’t have to be unemotional, selfish and cruel, but rather lovingly devoted to his nephew and his aunt, able to control his temper and willing to give her suggestions consideration have April’s staunch stand on never marrying again changing? Can Malachi seeing April with Jeb as if he was her own child, give him pause to really look at her with new eyes? Who is the mysterious Amish man that April finds rifling through Malachi’s office?
HIS AMISH MARRIAGE OFFER is a magnificently written story that immediately pulls you in, keeps you turning pages, falling in love with the characters and hoping for a happily-ever-after ending. Christina Rich gives us a story of forgiveness, acceptance, second chances, love, sweet growing romance, devotion, family, over-coming stereotypes and emotional roadblocks all while wrapping it in a wonderful thread of faith. HIS AMISH MARRIAGE OFFER is absolutely a FIVE STAR book that I highly recommend to everyone!
I received an ARC of this book with no requirement or expectations of a review. All opinions are completely my own. #HisAmishMarriageOffer #ChristinaRich #LoveInspired #InspirationalRomance

My favorite quote is He flashed a smile before pecking her on the cheek. “Gut morning, Aunt Esther. How are you this fine day?”
“Peachy. Absolutely peachy. I’d be a lot better if we settled you into a fine marriage. Married, you know. You need a wife, and that little boy needs a mamm.”
Malachi penciled in a note on next Tuesday’s orange block. His calendar was filling up quickly, leaving him little time for his nephew. He gazed down into Jeb’s wide brown eyes. I recommend this book. His Amish Marriage Offer by Christina Rich is a 5 -star book. I am looking forward to reading more books by Christina Rich. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions shared here in this review are my own. Christina Rich is a new to me author and I was able to get an ARC copy of His Marriage Offer.
One thing that I look for with an Amish romance is does the Author have a unique storyline or something different that your typical buggy ride into the sunset.
Christina did an excellent job showing that Amish are people as well. People who have faults. Malachi Stoltzfus comes from a family affected by suicide and a father who drank and cheated. April Beiler had an emotionally abusive husband. You end up feeling for these characters and really rooting for them as the story progresses.
Add in a very meddlesome aunt who brings in much needed comic relief to counter some of the heavier emotions, an adorable toddler, and some other great characters this is a really great read.
I give this a solid 4 stars. I think it is a great book and I will be picking up more of Christina's books. Definitely grab a copy.
Note-I was offered a free ARC but under no obligation to leave a review and the thoughts are my own.
A new author to me… I loved her writing style and will look forward to reading more of Christina Rich’s books.
April Beiler is alone after the loss of her husband and daughter who were killed in a house fire. She wants to start a business to support herself and the baby she is expecting. Getting married is the last thing on April’s mind since her marriage was not a happy marriage.
A family member of her late husband, Aunt Esther offers her an empty storefront for her business with matchmaking on her mind. The building belongs to her nephew Malachi Stoltzfus whom is single, raising his brother’s small son Jeb and has resigned to never marry but Aunt Esther has other plans. She continues to mention to Malachi his need to find a wife. April and Malachi become friends after she is ask to be a companion to Aunt Esther and to watch Jeb while Malachi works. Will either Malachi or April be able to forget their past and move forward?
This book had me grinning and laughing out loud throughout the whole book! Such wonderful characters that I enjoyed getting to know!! Such stubborn ones too!! I finished the book in the early morning hours as it was such a wonderful read! I couldn't let the story go until it was finished. Some of it was sad but most of it I really enjoyed. I hated to see it end. Aunt Esther is my favorite character. In some places she really made me laugh. I along love her wisdom along with her sneaky ways with these young folks April and Malachi. This is my first book by her and in my opinion she's an excellent author! Through this beautiful story of love, laughter hope and forgiveness Rich reminds us that God is always there to watch over us. This is why I love stories like these. God will always help us when we need it we only have to seek Him. Thanks for the opportunity to read and review. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.
This was a really good read. Wonderful characters telling a sweet but complicated story. Malachi's great aunt is playing matchmaker when she invites her nephew's recently widowed wife who is pregnant to come and care for Malachi's baby Jeb that he now has custody of. The trouble is, April doesn't want to marry because of her bad marriage to David and Malachi doesn't want to marry because of the way his dad mistreated his mother and his mother's subsequent suicide that haunts him. Will these two be able to let go of their pasts and their fears and build a life together? You'll have to read the book and find out. I received a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed are my own.
I loved this story very much! HIS AMISH MARRIAGE OFFER by Christina Rich is incredibly sweet and heartwarming.
When Malachi's matchmaking aunt promises his storefront to April, neither of them is looking for romance. Malachi is focused on his responsibilities, while April is grieving the loss of her husband and child. But when Malachi needs help caring for his orphaned nephew and ailing aunt, April offers a practical solution: she'll care for his family in exchange for the business space.
As they work together, their guarded hearts begin to soften. The journey from a practical arrangement to something deeper is a beautiful one. This story made my reading heart happy. I’m giving HIS AMISH MARRIAGE OFFER the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!
Due to sad events in his past, Malachi does not ever want to marry. His late cousin's wife, April, is mourning the loss of her husband and daughter. April has arrived at the front door of Malachi's aunt's front door under the premise that she has the opportunity to start over by using Malachi's storefront as her new business. But good old Aunt Esther has other plans for the both of them. Aunt Esther, dealing with the beginning stages of dementia, feels like these two would make a wonderful match. As April helps Malachi with looking after his Aunt and his nephew, the two begin to enjoy a new friendship and a realization that marriage really not be that bad of an idea.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Get ready to fall in love with April and Malachi. April is recovering from the death of her husband and young daughter and is also pregnant. She doesn’t want to get marriages again after having a loveless marriage. Malachi vows to never get married after seeing the heartache from parents' unhappy union. He’s also caring for baby Jeb, his brother’s son. Can these two broken people lean on each other to become whole? Aunt Esther stole the show for me! She’s the aunt you definitely want on your side. This is my first book by Christina Rich but it won’t be my last. She had definitely solidified her position as one of my new favorites!
Malachi Stoltzfus is raising his infant nephew and caring for his elderly aunt. Now Aunt Esther has invited April Beiler, the impoverished pregnant young widow of his cousin, to set up shop in his late mother’s storefront. This stirs up painful memories as well as adds issues to the struggles of his present life. The unusual Amish story offers a delightful read and plenty to think about. Aunt Esther keeps pushing the two together, determined they would make a fine match. Even if they’d consider such an arrangement, could love grow between them? The novel is well written and plotted with fun characters who with touch your heart. I received a copy from the author. All opinions are my own.
This was my first book by Christina Rich but it won't be my last. I loved this book. It was a clean and wholesome story. The characters of April and Malachi were very likeable. Aunt Esther was very determined to have these two marry each other but they both resisted her every step of the way until they couldn't imagine life without each other. The book ended with a Happily Ever After and I was very happy too. I was given a copy of the book by the author to read and review. The opinions are my own.
Another great book by the amazing author Christina Rich. I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming story that tugged on my heartstrings. Two people who clearly are battling with past issues and then you throw in a matchmaking meddling aunt to lighten the seriousness of their struggles. Christina Rich is one of my favorite authors and if you haven’t read her books before, this is a great one to start with. It is scheduled to be released February 24, 2026.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book from the author. All words are my own.
I loved His Amish Marriage Offer! Watching April and Malachi navigate their reservations, fears, and Aunt Esther's matchmaking attempts was awesome, and the way the author seamlessly blended in the issue of dementia without taking away from the main story really moved me. The story is a wonderful blend of romance, faith, past hurts, and recovery, making it a deep and heart-warming must-read.
I was given a complimentary digital copy of this book by the Author. The opinion of this book is my own. This was the first book I read by this Author, I'm sure there will be more books read in the coming months. I loved reading this book. Some of the challenges the characters were going through, I could very easily relate too. This is a very good book.
This was a really well written book that kept me involved in the story. There is just the right amount of tension and it's full of heart warming goodness and really kind characters. This is the kind of world I'd like to live in.
First book I've read by Christina Rich and it was all i love to read about! The Amish background, ideals, life styles, romance and human kindness! They were all true to life in this sweet Amish romance!
Loved this story! Nothing seems to be going right for Malachi. An Aunt with the onset of dementia and the responsibility for his brother's baby; all while running his own construction company. Can he move past his feelings of unworthiness stemming from his family's mistakes?
Such a sweet story. I loved both characters. Both have things from their past they must heal from. Secondary characters do a great job in speaking truth.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author to read and review and I could not put the book down from the moment I first started reading it. This is April and Malachi's story and I enjoyed getting to know them as well as little Jeb and Aunt Esther. Both April and Malachi dealt with grief, tragedy and sadness in their lifetime and it made them both reluctant to get married again and fall in love with anyone. April takes over caring for Aunt Esther and little Jeb and falls in love with the little family though it takes her time to realize and admit it to herself. Malachi's struggles are just as hard. I give this book a 5 star rating.
His Amish Marriage Offer by Christina Rich. This love inspired Christian second chance romance will warm your heart. Malachi is a man with a past he thinks no one could overlook. April is a pregnant widow that was married to his cousin and Esther is his matchmaking Aunt. Genesis 2:18, It is not good that the man should be alone;I will make him a help mate for him. Wonderful characters that bring love, forgiveness and hope to the story. Thank you to Author Christina Rich for this Arc. This is my honest review. Releases Feb 24. 2026
