A STRONG 3.5 stars that I will round up to 4.

This is a Christian marriage of convenience set around Easter.
The guy owns a ranch and has to get married to keep according to his uncle's will.
The girl just lost her job and is trying to adopt her foster daughter.

They both have strong faith and pray constantly. Their friends and family also give them great faith advice about trusting God. I loved that part!

There were interesting family dynamics going as well that kept me engaged.

There just weren't very many interesting plot points to make the story strong. I wish more than just the growth of the relationship and learning how to parent was going on.

I definitely want to go back and read the other books in this series because the cameos piqued my interest.

Would recommend! And thank you to Harlequin for sending me a free copy to read!

I was so excited to get back to Foxtail Farm with book three in this series!

Book three continues to be set on Foxtail Farm and is centered around Natalie’s cousin, Thatcher Dalton. Thatcher inherited and runs the adjacent ranch. He’s struggling to keep up his end of the inheritance requirement; if he doesn’t marry, he’ll lose the ranch. Bliss Anderson, a single mom in town, and her 9-year-old foster daughter, Juniper Jones, are at a crossroads after Bliss was let go from her job. Bliss needs to work and create a home for Juniper before her adoption hearing. Can Thatcher and Bliss come to some sort of arrangement before time runs out for them both?

I loved the delicate balance of faith, hope, love, and mystery. Wanting to know more about Thatcher’s background and his connection to Asa Dalton’s legacy kept me flipping pages, while hoping that Bliss was able to find financial stability and learn to rely on Thatcher, pulled at my heartstrings. I was so encouraged to read about a godly man who was determined to put Natalie and Juniper first and create a way to make it work for all three of them; a job for Bliss, an inheritance for Thatcher, and love and hope for them all.

It was good to read about characters who learn more about themselves as they take their first steps as God’s children; especially those who learned to see themselves as God does. I’ll remember this book for what it reminded me about independence and the difference and freedom there is in handing our challenges over to God. Like Bliss, I often snatch back my concerns and try to figure things out on my own.

If you are a dog lover, you’ll love Juniper’s black Labrador service dog, Coco. He’s a Seizure Response Dog, and he’s trained to whine or bark for help when a seizure happens and then stay with Juniper.

I’m already eagerly anticipating book four and can’t wait to get back to the Daltons and Foxtail Farm.

I was gifted this copy and was under no obligation to provide a review.

i am such a fan of the marriage-of-convenience trope, and a rancher for easter delivers a very sweet one.

to keep his ranch, thatcher dalton must marry within six months. when he finds out that bliss anderson lost her job, which jeopardizes her adoption of her foster daughter, it makes sense to offer a marriage of convenience, a win-win for both of them. they both enter the marriage platonically, determined by the hardships of their pasts to stay just friends. of course, that's easier said than done...

it's a sweet story of family—with all its complications. long-held secrets and lingering hurts, plus adoption, epilepsy, and a little girl (who desperately wants a couple siblings)... thatcher and bliss have a few challenges before them as they start their marriage, and that's not even taking into account the possibility of romance. i enjoyed following them through it all (juniper and coco are especially delightful, too), their faith keeping them more or less grounded despite the complicated around them.

it's a nice addition to the home to foxtail series—and is definitely seasonally appropriate with easter right around the corner. be sure to check it out for a quick, heartwarming contemporary-romance read.

(i received a complimentary copy from the author and/or publisher. i was not required to write a positive review, and all the opinions i have expressed are my own.)

This was such a great marriage of convenience story from start to finish! Thatcher and Bliss began their marriage of convenience completely platonically. They were friends, with Bliss also being Thatcher’s bookkeeper for the family ranch. I appreciated how well these two communicated, especially in deciding to get married and how to approach that with Bliss’s foster daughter, Juniper.

And, of course, feelings did begin to develop! But it truly felt so natural for these two. The deep care that they showed for each other and for their small new family was so sweet. This was one of those books that I didn’t want to set down. I really enjoyed seeing Bliss, Thatcher, and Juniper find their happily ever after together.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This book is so full of Jesus, it made me want to weep. Actually, get out my Bible. There was no preaching, just teaching through examples of trial and pain. So real, so close, that it just touches your heart to the very core. Not only do I want to read more books by Susanne Dietze but I want to Bible study with her because you just cannot fake a joy like that.

Oh, the characters. I adore them all. Thatcher is strong and sensitive. He cares so deeply but doesn't believe deep love, especially the kind found in a good marriage, is for him. He believes it is not an emotion he can possess. And, Bliss, sigh. She is just a good woman who had a rough first marriage. Juniper is at a fun age in the book, just shy of ten. An age where children aren't grown up but you get glimpses of who they are and the adult they will be by the things they say. The things that make you realize that maybe they are mature and knowledgeable. You just don't want them to be quite yet. Case in point, Juniper caught on to the real relationship in this marriage of convenience way before her guardians did. Some things you just can't hide.

Bliss is in the process of adopting Juniper but she still cares for Juniper's biological grandmother as if she were her own family. The fact that she could extend that compassion and care beyond the child she hoped to adopt and into her provides such a lovely message about what a family truly is. That isn't the only example. Many of the characters, such as Beatie, are treated with the same warmth and affection as one would treat someone bound to them through a family tree. It makes the already growing family, feel stronger because they know that family isn't just on a tree. Family extends beyond roots and branches.

he plot twist in this one! I want to tell you. But I can't tell you. Ugh! The tension is real. In and outside of the story.

Whenever Dalton would get upset about the way someone treated Bliss (past or present), I just wanted to squeal with delight. It seems odd to be happy over a character's anger but if you could hear Bliss's inner thoughts, she needed this. And Juniper, too.

If you enjoy marriage of convenience, slow burn romance, and found family books, then you are in for a real treat. Themes of ongoing transformation in Christ, prayer, and generosity and stewardship are woven in throughout. This is the type of book that will make you want a stronger relationship with family, friends, and God.

"You're not being paid to be nosy. Resolving to mind her own business, Bliss Anderson forced her gaze back to the spreadsheet on the computer monitor. Where had she been before she got distracted? Oh, yes. The receipt for the supplemental food. Movement outside the Foxtail Ranch's office caught her attention again, and despite her best intentions, she watched Thatcher Dalton pace in front of the window. He scowled, his phone to his ear as he shook his head. Then he paused in place and looked skyward, shutting his eyes. Was he getting bad news?"

When Thatcher discovers a clause in his uncle's will, he considers letting his inheritance go. But when he finds out that the ranch accountant is struggling to provide insurance and support for her foster daughter, he wonders if he has a solution that would help them both. A friendly marriage would help him keep the family farm, and Bliss would be able to take care of her daughter's health. Although some of the family and friends are skeptical , the plan seems foolproof as long as feelings are not involved.

But when complications arise, they wonder if the marriage created more problems. And when secrets are uncovered, understanding might not be granted. Can they find a way to continue to work together?

This book has strong themes of redemption, faith, family and resilience. The romance aspects are sweet and go beyond simple attraction. The ranch setting plays a part, and so does Easter. There is plenty of depth in this title.

This is book three in the Foxtail Farm series. If possible, I would recommend reading the first two books in the series as they are both fantastic. But if that is not possible, one could follow along with the plot.

I was provided with an advanced copy of this book. I wanted to read and review it. All opinions are my own.

This story and series were absolutely delightful and definitely one that I would read again! I really enjoyed reading each book in the Foxtail Farm series and getting to know the characters and town.

I loved all of the characters, especially the main characters in this one: rancher Thatcher, Bliss and her adopted daughter Juniper. I also loved reading about Juniper's service dog Coco who helps alert her before an epilepsy episode.

Even though they all had their struggles, they continued to come together again and again as friends and family to support and help each other. This was the perfect Easter story about family, love, and how God's love and grace is extended to all of us. This feel-good story had an engaging plot that kept me smiling from chapter to chapter.  I absolutely loved it!

A Rancher for Easter is the first book I've read by Susanne Dietze, and frankly, I look forward to reading more of her works.

The sweet chemistry between Bliss and Thatcher is precious. Their faith is inspirational. I liked that they each prayed about the big decisions, big problems, and even the small things. Their kindness toward each other and to Juniper is so sweet to watch.

Any story with a single parent, a special needs child, a service dog, is my kind of story. If that's what you like in a story, too, then this is a must-read. Be sure to add it to your TBR list.

I’m a big fan of the marriage-of-convenience trope! I think that the first one in that particular category was Love Comes Softly by Janette Oke. I was in junior high and thought it was one of the best things ever. Susanne Dietze has met the mark with A Rancher for Easter!

When Thatcher Dalton’s uncle died, he left his ranch to his three daughters and nephew Thatcher. The will came with so many requirements that it was as if he was still dictating their lives beyond the grave. And he was. Because Thatcher called the attorney to see about expanding the ranch to include more land, he triggered a clause that required him to get married within 6 months, or he’d lose the ranch…and so would his three cousins. Of course, he’s completely blindsided by this. Since coming to Christ, he’s changed his womanizing ways and hasn’t been in a relationship since. He wants to honor God, and he wants to protect his cousins. The perfect solution presents itself when Bliss, an accountant who does the ranch’s bookkeeping, is let go from the accounting firm where she works full-time. When God closes a door, he opens a window…

Bliss is in the process of adopting Juniper, her nine year old foster daughter, when all of this happens. Now, without a steady income or insurance, she’s afraid the adoption won’t go through. Thatcher sees Bliss’s predicament and adds it to his predicament and comes up with the “perfect” solution. Marry Bliss. He meets his late-uncle’s demands, and Bliss won’t have to worry about the adoption. Only their family and closest friends know that they’re marrying for convenience. They don’t approve, but they support the couple anyway. Juniper, who already loves Thatcher, is over the moon about the marriage, but, of course, she doesn’t realize they’re not marrying for love. What Thatcher and Bliss don’t realize is that throughout the time they’ve known each other, they just might already be falling in love.

Juniper and her service dog were so adorable. Coco is her service dog because Juniper has epilepsy, and he can go into rescue mode if she has seizures. I loved Juniper! She was full of life and always brought a smile to my face. It seemed she spread sunshine wherever she was! There are several characters in the book who are also in the two previous Home to Foxtail series books; however, you don’t need to read those first. This can easily be enjoyed as a stand alone book, and you’ll get to know the characters here too!

I highly recommend A Rancher for Easter! The thread of faith that weaves through the story is very evident and encouraging. The characters are well-written, and the romance is sweet and clean. I became totally immersed in this book and flew through it. I’m so ready for the next book in the Home to Foxtail series!

What happens when it is the modern times and only a marriage of convenience can save you from your predicament? Well, that is what friends Thatcher and Bliss are wondering when both of their worlds are upended and their plans for their respective futures seem to be disintegrating right before their very eyes.

Thatcher is already under a great deal of pressure trying to fulfill the requirements of his obstinate lake uncle's will. He and his cousins all are, just so they don't lose their beloved ranch. But unfortunately, he now has to get married to continue filling the demands of the will, this is where Bliss comes in.

Bliss is a widow, after her unhappy first marriage, she just wants to settle down and adopt her foster daughter. However, her plans go awry when she loses her job, the adoption looks likes it is going to fall through. Enter Thatcher's plan for a marriage with no strings attached, but at the same time beneficial for both. All seems to be going well, till, well they actually begin to fall in love and act like a real family.

Both Thatcher and Bliss are hiding some secrets that could shatter each other's perspectives. Will they be able to share their deepest secrets to one another and make this a real happy family, not just for their sake but for their daughter too? I enjoyed this modern-day marriage of convenience story and the couple's love and faith they tried to build their lives on. As the Good Book says, the truth shall set you free.

Book three in the Home to Foxtail series, this is such a cute marriage of convenience, found family, and friends to more story. Readers will be delighted with Bliss and Thatcher and how they work things out for their home and daughter, Juniper, that they adopt. This story has several faith elements, amid the romance. A sweet Hallmark-style story with faith and hope and of course romance.

A story with a good blend of characters, a lovable trained service canine, a beautiful setting, and an assortment of real-life problems for the entire group to work through together with the Lord's guidance . . .

When bookkeeper, Bliss Anderson, returns to her hometown in the Cuyamaca Mountains, she hopes to make a new start. She inherited her grandfather's home in Goldenrod, California, and it's the perfect place to restart her life after her husband's death.

Bliss is fostering nine-year-old Juniper and things are going well for both of them. The young girl is adjusting to her new school and making some friends. Juniper's service dog, Coco, is trained to alert and respond when the young girl may have an epileptic seizure upcoming. The dog is serious about her work, and she is treasured by Bliss and Juniper.

In my two decades as an elementary school educator, I worked with a few families whose students had epilepsy. I felt that the author did an excellent job of realistically portraying the challenges presented by this chronic neurological disorder of the brain to the patient along with their family and friends.

Bliss and Juniper's home is next to Foxtail Farms and so the two frequently spend time with the Daltons who own and operate Foxtail Farms and the various businesses which are located on the farm. Sisters Dove, Natalie, and Sadie inherited the farm from their father, Asa, along with their cousin Thatcher Dalton. Asa Dalton's legacy is a mixed blessing as the sisters and their cousin try to adjust to the stringent controls Asa placed in his Will.

This story is filled with personal growth for many, if not all, of the characters. They must learn how to forgive, accept, and trust in order to move forward to a future filled with hope, harmony, and love.

The story is completely clean in language and content. The faith thread is strong and well-presented.

I received a copy of this book from the author through JustRead Publicity Tours. All of my thoughts and opinions shared here are solely my own.

Who needs a good marriage of convenience romance novel? Just about everyone does! And you’re going to love A Rancher for Easter because it reads so quickly, the characters draw you in, and you just have to find out where they end up, even though you secretly know how it ends.

I love that the little girl has a health issue. So often, everyone is perfectly healthy and just swimmingly lovely. Let’s normalise real life here!

Thatcher has a clause in his inheritance that he has to meet. He has to marry within six months. Or he loses his farm. I don’t know if you have any inheritance or generations of passing something down that you can relate to him here. But I can. I lived in the house my grandparents lived in. That was where my dad grew up. My dad is first generation American on his mom’s side. She came here and became a citizen, leaving her life and family in England. It’s weird to think of how very little that side of the family has been here vs the other side since pre-Revolutionary days.

Bliss is a widow. She’s also a bookkeeper without a job currently. And that doesn’t look so good for her. You see, she’s in the process of adopting her foster daughter. In order to keep the adoption on the right track, she really has no choice but to accept Thatcher’s proposal.

But can they truly have a marriage of convenience only?
Juniper is nine and has epilepsy. She has a service dog. She’s settling in and doing well. How can Bliss do anything that might upset that balance?

This is the third book in this series. You can read this book without reading the other two first. But you really should read all three in order.

Oh my goodness, I LOVED this book! The amount of sleep I traded just to keep reading this was so worth it! If you love tropes like friends to more and marriage of convenience, this is absolutely a book you are going to want to read. Add in sweet Juniper, who is struggling with epilepsy, plus characters from earlier books, and you will have no choice but to be completely invested in this story.

Bliss has been working hard to provide for herself and her foster daughter Juniper and was succeeding until she loses her job, threatening her ability to adopt her. Thatcher has been helping around the farm as part of the stipulations tied to his inheritance. But when he mistakenly sets a new stipulation in motion, the only solution they can find is a marriage of convenience. One that allows him to keep the ranch and one that allows her to adopt Juniper. It is supposed to be in name only, living together just as friends and family for Juniper. With Thatcher’s past with women and Bliss’s past with men, neither of them is looking for real love. But when sparks start to fly, it threatens the whole arrangement. Can they move past the marriage of convenience and allow love in?

I think what stood out most in this story was the way Bliss and Thatcher treated each other. Their friendship was pure perfection. We can only wish to have that level of respect, mutual care, and protectiveness for one another. The way they both tried to hold back their feelings was so sweet, but almost impossible given how incredible they were together. I loved this. The chemistry was off the charts! The faith element was beautifully interwoven. They truly modeled relying on God and talking with Him through every step of their lives. I loved that so much.

I received a complimentary copy. This review reflects my honest opinion.

A Rancher for Easter by Suzanne Dietze is a Christian contemporary romance that I very much liked reading. And I don't usually care for most Love Inspired books. This book's blurb hooked me, and the deliver did not disappoint.

Bliss and Thatcher have both experienced pain in their lives, and watching them find healing and growth was so satisfying. Juniper was adorable, and for any reader who likes it when the hero is good with kids, here's a book for you.

I also enjoyed Dietze's writing style, as well as the faith aspect. I haven't found much faith, if any, in most of the other LI books I've read, so I was thrilled when I discovered this book mentioned God more than one or two passing times. We have the beautiful emphasis of redemption and a touching message about both forgiveness and how God is always with us, even in the trials of life. The spotlight on fostering and adoption was beautiful as well.

Sensitive readers should note that infidelity is mentioned; a character has epilepsy and seizures are discussed; miscarriages are mentioned; and hostile family environments are alluded to, as is dementia/alzheimers.

A Rancher for Easter is a sweet story of second chances, faith, God's love, and new beginnings. I will be checking out more of Dietze's books.

Part of Susanne Dietze’s Home to Foxtail series, A Rancher for Easter is a sweet story that fans of faith-filled fiction are sure to enjoy.  And while it is the third book in Dietze’s series, it can be read as a stand alone novel.

A Rancher for Easter tells the story of Bliss Anderson, a widowed bookkeeper; Juniper Jones, Bliss’ nine year old epileptic foster (and soon to be adopted) daughter; and Thatcher Dalton, rancher and part-owner of Foxtail Ranch—as they learn what it means to build a family together. . .even if their decision to do so was a bit spur of the moment.

The major themes of this novel are family and trusting the Lord with the future, especially when life seems uncertain.  I loved the many reminders that our strength, direction, and hope come from God.

Some of my favorite quotes include:

“Lord, I trust You to provide, but I ask that You show me what to do next.”

“The future wouldn’t be without its ups and downs, but she felt more confident facing it with a praying partner who went to the Lord with her.”

“The families we’re born into are important, but family is more about heart than it is about blood. The most important family we’re in is God’s.”

My one complaint is that A Rancher for Easter ended too soon.  I wanted more time with the Daltons!

Christian Contempory Romance is a favorite Genre, especially in the LOVE Inspired Series of books.A Rancher for Easter by Susanne Dietze is Book 3 in the Home to Foxtail series and the most recent book that I have read.

I have been touched by storylines before, although this one touched me greatly. Rancher Thatcher Dalton and the new Bookkeeper, for the ranch, Bliss Anderson are friends and both are going through some situations in life. Thatcher discovers that he will gain his inheritance from his Grandfather, he must make a major life decision of finding wife. Bliss is in need of a job, is a widow and is a foster mom to a beautiful girl, Juniper. Thatcher sees that Bliss and Juniper are in a major predicament for care for Juniper's health after losing her job and no health insurance for Juniper. I really felt the care and concern from Thatcher as he wants to care for Bliss and Juniper and offers to marry Bliss. The marriage of convenience offer is an offer that Bliss is deeply moved by and agrees to. I really LOVE that the couple comes together as friends, but the LOVE grows into true LOVE for the pair quickly. I was deeply moved that Thatcher was also caring for Juniper immediately. The book is one of Faith, LOVE, Family and growth. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Contempory Romance. Have your tissues ready as it really is a touching story. GREAT BOOK!

Thatcher and Bliss find themselves in a marriage of convenience that benefits both of them. Thatcher must marry to keep his inheritance, while Bliss finds her chances of adopting a young girl in need of a home dashed when she loses her job. Can their platonic arrangement turn to love?

An engaging read, with likable characters in this heartwarming found family romance. Juniper is a sweet girl in a tough situation after her grandmother can no longer care for her. Her service dog, Coco is so smart and I liked their bond. Thatcher is a hardworking man, he steps right up to be a father to Juniper, and I admired his commitment to his family. Bliss has never had a family like this before, and though the future is unsure she trusts God to guide her.

Overall, a heartwarming and compelling read, with a believable plot and likable protagonists. Strong relationship building, faith, and family. Highly recommend!

An uplifting marriage-of-convenience romance full of hope and heart.

Thatcher is a rancher on the cusp of losing his farm to a marriage stipulation in his inheritance and Bliss is a single widow doing her best to make things official and adopt her foster daughter. Thatcher and Bliss get along well and he comes up with the idea to marry. It can be beneficial to both; he will get to keep and make changes to the farm and she the adoption process will move along in the right direction. Before taking his faith seriously, he was known as a 'playboy' and leaves some in doubt if they can make the marriage work. But with time Bliss and her daughter Juniper see the change in him. He is someone you can count on and provides the stability and loyalty they deserve. It may have been awkward at first, but to see them all become a family and see the love that blossomed was a joy to read.

A Rancher for Easter is a clean, faith based romance about finding love when you least expect it and trusting in God's plan for you.

It’s wonderful to be back at Foxtail Farm in the newest by author Susanne Dietz, A Rancher For Easter. Thatcher Dalton and Bliss Anderson enter a marriage of convenience, each for their own reasons. Is it possible this friendship and convenient partnership could turn into something more?
In the author’s “Dear Reader” letter at the end of the book, she states, “At its heart, the Home to Foxtail stories have been about characters discovering who they are as children of God.” It’s so true. How the Lord gently, but firmly, steers Thatcher and Bliss through their burdens and concerns made for a beautiful read. Plus it has my favorite, an epilogue! I am already impatiently waiting for the next in the series. By the way, they can all be read as stand-alone stores, but I’m sure you’ll want to read them all.
My thanks for the complementary copy of this book. My opinions are entirely my own.

Susanne Dietze’s A Rancher for Easter can be read by itself, but I highly recommend reading the first two books in the series prior to jumping into this one in order to get the full experience out of it. Of the three Foxtail series books, this one by far holds the most drama and heart-pounding action at times. How could it not with a marriage of convenience at the center of the story? Susanne Dietze presents the reasons for this non-romantic marriage deal with sensitivity, all while maintaining both main characters’ dignity and sincerity. She tackles tough topics with grace and hopeful redemption. I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention that there is a huge family secret that she divulges that changes everything for her characters. It will make you not want to put it down until the final page! I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves stories involving complicated family relationships, faith, children, cute pets, and a friends-to-more storyline.

This novel was gentle and tender in so many ways. Thatcher has such a big heart to fit his big frame, and even though he struggles to be the man he wants to be, he keeps turning back to the Lord for help. Bliss is a godly woman made strong by the trials she has walked through. Thatcher and her arrangement of marriage starts out as friends but slowly and softly moves into something far more precious. For me, that was the sweetest part of the story; their care for each other and putting the other first led them to a wonderful future.

Juniper and Coco are a great team and make the story shine. There is humor, fun, trials, and frustrations, but God sees them all through.

This is definitely a re-read for me. I enjoyed it so much. I received a complimentary copy from the author and these are my voluntary and honest opinions. I was not required to leave a positive review.

The beginning of this story made me laugh. Thatcher goofed and now has to get married to keep his inheritance. He was not at all happy about that. Bliss has lost her job and may lose her foster daughter that she is adopting. Can they work together so both can keep what they really want?

Both characters are trying hard to follow God’s leading. But is He leading them to a marriage of convenience in this day and age? Thatcher is a wonderful hero who cares for his family (they are closer than they realize) and Bliss’ little girl, Juniper. And maybe even Bliss? Bliss is focused on Juniper and her service dog, Coco. Is there room in her heart for Thatcher?

Heartwarming and fun, I highly recommend it!

Foxtail Ranch holds more secrets, but will these be appreciated? The will has an addendum - Thatcher must marry within 6 months! Bliss, on the other hand, has lost her bookkeeping job which puts the adoption of Juniper in jeopardy. Perhaps a mutually advantageous route could be taken that would benefit both of them and Juniper as well. But a marriage of convenience?

The story takes on a whole new plot when the cleanup of the old ranch house unearths some dusty boxes that appear they should just be thrown on the burn pile. However, they unearth long lost information that affects everyone. Will Juniper’s Easter wish come true, or is she destined for disappointment?

This early copy of Home to Foxtail, 3 was received through Love Inspired Inspirational Romance. These thoughts are my own and were in no way solicited.

4.5/5

Thatcher is in jeopardy of losing his family’s ranch. Bliss is wanting to provide stability for her soon-to-be adopted daughter. Together they decide to marry in name-only to help each other. Juniper is such a sweet little girl and it’s no wonder why Thatcher will do anything to bring a smile to her face. Watching the transformation that both Thatcher and Bliss go through in their lives and also their relationship make this a book that readers of faith-filled, clean romances will enjoy.

Things to love:
friends to more
Easter wish
ranch
service dog
faith thread

This is third book in the Home to Foxtail series, but it can be read as a standalone.

The wedding comes well before love in Susanne Dietz’s A Rancher for Easter, when Thatcher makes a choice and Bliss encounters circumstances that lead to a marriage of convenience.

From Bliss’s struggles with her past and the challenges of adopting her foster daughter to Thatcher’s efforts to live a new life as a Christian and deal with a family secret, this is a slow burn friends to more romance full of charm and complications.

Perfect for a Springtime read, A Rancher for Easter may be enjoyed as a stand-alone, but expect this story to leave the you wanting to read the first two books in the Home to Foxtail series.

Bliss and Thatcher were two people just trying to do the right thing. They had an easy friendship that developed to something more right under their noses. I devoured this romance like it was a favorite dessert. This was one of those stories that I would consider a “comfy slipper” read. It was a sweet romance with low key conflict, great characters, and a genuine inspirational thread. I really enjoyed the modern day marriage of convenience trope as well as life with a service animal and lovable little girl. I definitely recommend this for a light and fun holiday read.

It was a delight to journey back to Foxtail Farm and join the Dalton family in the quest to save their farm. When rancher Thatcher Dalton suddenly needs to find a wife to keep his inheritance at the same time Bliss Anderson loses her job, it seems like too good of a coincidence to miss. Bliss needs stability to go through with her adoption of her foster daughter, and Thatcher can offer that to them. Thatcher and Bliss are engaging and relatable, and foster daughter Juniper and her dog Coco are adorable. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and seeing their relationships grow and change.

Themes of family, faith, trust, and hope add inspiration and depth to the story and enhanced my enjoyment of it. It is well-written with a lovely cast of endearing characters. This is a sweet, clean, and charming contemporary romance that is sure to entertain and warm your heart. 4.5 stars
