Silence: Removing Noise and Living a Calm, Considered Life

Rate this book
"This book is about one thing and one thing only: finding a space of silence to think. The reason the words past this point in the book are important, is because we need to know how to find more time to think, what we take into that space, what we don’t take into that space, what we leave in that space, what we take away from that space, how we spend our time in that space more effectively and efficiently, and how the discipline of getting back to that space will change the entire direction of our lives.” (an excerpt from introduction chapter)

I've paid for Josh Long's books in the past and surprisingly this one was free. I say that because, of all his books, I would have paid the most for this one. I don't typically geek out over self-help books anymore, but this one is in a category of its own. I'm excited to take the concepts Josh talks about in the book and put them to work in 2015 to find my one true thing that I work for every day and live a more purposeful life. Highly encourage others to read his book!
