This novella kept me entertained for a few hours and served as a nice palate cleanser between some other books that I am reading.

Ava and Carrington made an ahem arrangement for a month, but of course it turns out they are meant to be.

Short, steamy, a bit too instant everything for me, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Ava has been trying to keep her family going ever since her mother died but now, she finds herself working at a gentleman’s club just to pay off the loan sharks looking for her brother, he skipped town owing over fifty grand. She had never thought that she would be where she is right now, but things are not so bad as long as she dances just for him. The mysterious man that she locked eyes her first night who has haunted her thoughts ever since. So, when he offers her a month of being his for a hundred grand, she knows that she should say no just like she has to all of the other men that think that she is for sale, but this man is different she can just feel that the connection they shared that first night is something more. Is Ava just setting herself up for a broken heart or a life that she has only ever dreamt of?

Carrington has known exactly who Ava was since the day she started working at his club and his infatuation with her has only grown and now he needs to find a way to get over her and fast, he can’t keep thinking about her first and business second. So when he comes up with a plan to get her put pf his system and make it so that her problems disappear, he offers her a hundred grand to be at his beck and call for the next month, he isn’t expecting her to be any different than the other women who have been in his life before but she proves day after day that he could not have been more wrong and soon the only question is how will he let her go when the month is up or will he finally admit how he feels and offer her his heart?

I just love this author her books always cheer up my very long night shift with her sweet and steamy reads with characters that aren’t too unbelievable. 4.5* read.

This was an intrequing book to read from the very beginning. Kate Blake gave readers a well-rounded view of both the main characters via dialog and voicing their internal thoughts and feelings. Carrington and Ava shared a drive and work ethic. Beyond that, they were from two different worlds. He was a man of privilege (at this point in life - 32 y/o) and was accustomed to having things fall into place as he deemed appropriate. He DID NOT do relationships, but family was everything.

Ava, on the other hand, was a caring, giving, and took on responsibilities far beyond her years. She dropped out of school so she could earn money to pay a debt her brother incurred, just to ensure his safety. Barely getting by would be an apt description for her circumstances. That all changed when Carrington entered the picture; him and his "Filthy Offer".

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book, and as noted, the characters truly sucked me into their story. I was sorry it was so short, as I had become invested and hungered for more. More sharing, more banter, more intamacy... more everything! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this little gem. Happy Reading 📚

Ava and Carrington . . .

Ava works as a burlesque dancer in Carrington Deveraux’s club. He decides he wants to get her out of his system and figures a month should work for him. He offers her $100,000 to spend a month with him with no commitments, just sex. She has heavy debt, so the money would certainly be an enticement. But she can’t figure why a wealthy, handsome man would pay out for sex with her. He could get whatever he wants with anyone.

So finally agreeing to his terms, knowing there will never be any kind of “relationship”, they begin their journey together. He challenges himself to provide her pleasure and get her to “let go” and find ultimate satisfaction. The two of them are amazing together. And she begins to worry that those feelings she was not supposed to have might have already happened. Does he feel anything for her? Walking away might just be the most difficult part of this job.

My biggest objection to the story is the control issue. I don’t like it because all I can see is a bully and not someone who cares. But overall the story has enough to hold the reader’s attention.

This was a first for me from this author and I’m sorry to say it was hard for me to get into. I really really tried to get into it but it was a little too cheesy at times. It had a good potential but just wasn’t the book for me but that doesn’t mean it won’t be the book for you. This is Ava and Carrington’s story. Ava is way in over her head thanks to her brother who left her with his debt to pay so she dropped out of school and started dancing in a gentleman’s club to pay it off. There she meets Carrington the owner who seems to have developed a bit of an obsession with her. He finds out of her problems and decides to make her an offer she can’t refuse. A month with him and he will give her enough money to pay off the debt
And stop have left over. What time neither of them counted on was that they would both fall for each other and feeling would get in the way of the agreement. Like I said there was a lot of parts that were so just not for me. The way he spoke to her was a bit cringe and cheesy at the same time. It had potential but just didn’t hit what I was expecting it was not the noon for me but it may be for you.

Ava has always put family first, taking care of her siblings when her mom died. Now her brother has disappeared leaving her to pay off his debts. Having to give up her dream and take a job as a dancer at an exclusive gentleman's club. But she has lines she won't cross, or does she when Carrington makes her a proposition. Carrington has watched Ava since she started at his club, but she doesn't know he owns the club. He can't get her out of his mind, so he offers to pay off her brother's debt and more besides, if she'll be his for a month. Can they both keep to the terms of his proposal or will be prove too difficult. The air is very hot and steamy when these two become more than expected and will it prove too much. I totally enjoyed this book and the fact both characters have their own individual flaws which they help each other overcome. I received this as an ARC copy and this is my own opinion and review of the book.

This was a cute and quick read. It is not extremely spicy as advertised. There are some steamy scenes, but nothing that I would categorize as “extreme”.

Ava puts her dreams on hold to begin working in a burlesque club for the fast cash to pay off the debt her good for nothing brother has left her with. She catches the attention of a handsome client that watches her every evening, but disappears before she can work up the courage to speak with him. That client is Carrington. Carrington has become quietly obsessed with Ava and offers her the deal of a lifetime. This deal will leave her with more money than she could ever imagine having for herself and the offer would pay off her brothers debt. Is she curious enough about Carrington to accept he offer?.

This quick read was hot, and I enjoyed every second of it. Carrington has been obsessing over Ava since the moment they locked eyes and she smiled, but Ava is hesitant to go with his plans for her even if the attraction is mutual. Ava has been working to help pay off her brother’s debt so when Carrington presents her with a deal she can’t really refuse. I loved seeing Carrington lowering his guard when it came to her and seeing that he couldn’t just get over the attraction for her. Steamy read with sweet moments and as always, I wish we had more time with them.

Ava is working as a dancer to pay off her brothers debt. Carrington is wealthy and suggests an agreement for a month for a lot of money. It will help her pay off the debt and have a lot left over for herself, for the future. The characters are well developed, with similar drive and great backstories. The storyline gives us drama, steam, surprises, entertaining situations, big decisions and a great ending. Well done.

Nice, snarky and with themes from Indecent Proposal and Pretty Woman woven through this was a fun, fast read.
Here, a debt needs to be repaid and there's a shmexy offer for our FMC Ava to spend a hot month with Carrington Deveraux. I mean - I would have paid him by the descriptions of his character!
Now there were moments of excessive cliche which gave me the cheese-grimace, but it was also cute and funny and just enough spicy!.

Because Carrington can’t stop thinking of her he proposes an anything goes deal for one month. During that month he will control her movements and activities. During this month they are intimate and love develops. This is a short, spicy novella. Quick and enjoyable.

I thought this was a cute and steamy romance. Ava dances at a club to make money, and Carrington is captivated from the start. He makes her a “filthy offer” and she accepts. These two have a sizzling chemistry and they get along so well. I found this no drama, high heat romance to be sweet and fun to read.

This is definitely a filthy, hot, panty wetting read as well as a page turner.
It is very focused on the erocic style but still manages to build some character for the protagonists to make them real, and it is jsut as sweet as it is hot at times.
The ending is perfect to me.
