Rate this book
So, you seek a thrill? You crave that shiver down your spine? Excellent. P.D. Thompson has just the thing…

An aging serial killer laments that he’s getting too old to hunt his favorite helpless hitchhikers. A damned soul discovers that Hell isn’t fire and brimstone, but the eternal, mind-numbing bureaucracy of shoveling coal. A lone survivor in a desolate wasteland finds he’s not alone when he keeps meeting—and killing—himself.

There’s no turning back now. These and other tales were chosen just for you. Go ahead, turn the page… terror awaits.

"P.D. Thompson creates horror fiction that doesn't shy away from the grotesque and frightening, yet anchors each tale in hope and spiritual truth."--Dan Padavona, bestselling author of the Wolf Lake series

This is Volume 2 in PD Thompsons “Tales To Terrify” series and it’s another banger filled with eerie, tense, macabre and bizarre tales. This one is perhaps just a slight step down from the tales in Volume 1, is perhaps a slight bit more violent in select stories (but still nothing really gory, per se), and not quite as suspenseful as the previous Tales. However, none of that really matters because these are all interesting stories, very different from one another and often taking place in very different settings and with unique characters, that make these stories a fun reading experience, imaginative, often intelligent, and sometimes even with a morality play subtly integrated into them. I can’t wait to crack open Volume 3 next.
