Rate this book
Not everyone feels like they are living their best life in their late thirties, but Taylor Desmond does. Taylor is a successful Occupational Therapist. They work with their best friends every day. They don’t need a soulmate; they have found peace.
Then they meet Nicole.
Taylor’s heart starts racing as soon as Nicole is nearby.

Nicole Young is the Chief Financial Officer at Sun Steer Technologies, an up-and-coming tech startup in Orange County. Professionally, she’s successful; romantically, she’s a mess. After being cheated on by her girlfriend, she is about to give up hope. Perhaps she can’t find what she monogamy, commitment.
Someone who loves her as much as she loves them.
Unfortunately, the only person who creates butterflies in her stomach is Taylor Desmond. The person who has never felt the need to settle down. The person with more confidence and charm than Nicole knows what to do with.

One casual hookup turns into more. It doesn’t feel casual anymore.
Is Taylor willing to settle down?
Can Nicole learn to trust so soon after being burned? Or will her insecurities keep her from experiencing the love she’s sought?

TAILORED FOR THEM is a queer novella, featuring characters from both the WHAT IT MEANS and the SUN STEER TECH series.

4.5/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very mild spice, mostly plot and character growth in this bridge novella. T + N 5ever.

I came into this not quite knowing where it was going to go - Taylor has always been a self-professed hoe who didn’t ever want to settle down. Until they met Nicole and their whole world changed.

Really, really short term fake dating (Leo was right about that bar and exes), hookups, neither of them can get enough.

I loved that we got to see some more of Court and Beck (and Adam) in this novella, I’ve missed them now that WIM is finished. We also got to meet T’s parents (the real MVPs for an enby kid) and see a quick glimpse into their incredibly supportive childhood. It is a novella though…and dang you Andrea, for always leaving me wanting more. I understand the need for T’s story to be a novella and I can’t WAIT for Violet’s book, but I wanted to see more of T’s growth and more of the sweet babies.

♡ Queer romance
♡ Neurodivergent rep
♡ Light spice
♡ Found family

Since meeting Nicole in the previous book as the new CFO at Sun Steer Tech and seeing Taylor as the rugby team coach with Leo and Zaid, I couldn’t wait to see how their story developed. Tailored for Them did not disappoint. It was a perfect short novella that still showcased both of their individual personalities, traumas and growth without feeling too rushed. It was nicely written and connected all of Andrea’s characters from other series without feeling like you were missing out on other backstories. Bonus points for the scenes with Violet, I cannot wait to get to her story! 🤭

This was an excellent shorter surprise book released after Melted by a Man. I have not read any of the books in her first series, but I have read Written by a Woman and Melted by a Man, and the story line of this book is intertwined quite a bit with Melted by a Man. So while you maybe could read this book as a complete stand alone, I’d at least recommend reading Melted by a Man first so you get more context for the first third of this book. If you’re familiar with this author’s full works, every character makes an appearance.
My favorite thing about the books of hers that I’ve read so far is how emotionally mature her characters are. There are no games played and any miscommunication gets cleared in the most straight forward way without extra drama. There’s no third act breakup in this book, which is the best! It’s well written, has a good plot and good character development, and the spice is good for how short the book is.

Everything about this story is just amazing, from Andrea Andersen's writing to the characters themselves. It got me kicking my feet in the air!

I stumbled upon this book randomly and decided to give it a try, and it was totally worth it. A quick read with about 170 pages that gets you hooked. The way the author presents Taylor to us and a story on why they chose the pronounce "they" and their story intertwined with Nicole's fears about dating feels wholesome altogether. Everything fits well within a short story but doesn't lack in details, meaning, or storyline. Like, wow!

Also, we see all the characters from other books all presented in this one, so whoever has already read them, it's a nice bonus. I want to point out how well they braided into this story; it doesn't get annoying, although there are plenty of them in it. I haven't read any of those, but it made me want to look into them, definitely.

I’ve been Waiting for Taylor’s story and this did not disappoint!!

Short novella
Taylor lives as they see fit. Never settling down. Happy with how they are. Sure they weren’t missing out on anything. Until Nichole.
Her laugh is what really starts it all for Taylor !!

Andrea’s Done it Again!

Another amazing 5 star read. I’ve love Taylor’s character ever since I saw them as a side character in Andreas other series and I’m so glad they got their own book. I lovely sappy little quick read.

I really enjoyed this! I do feel like there were a LOT of characters so it was hard to keep track at times.

I loved the representation and felt myself getting emotional seeing the parents be so supportive 🥺

Taylor was one of my fav side characters in the other books in this series, so it was fun to get to see them get their own HEA. 🥰 Also nice to see a nonbinary character as a protagonist in a contemporary romance.

I struggled to get into this, and felt really that the story line for some reason didn't have the same pull of others in the same bookverse.

it just felt...a bit meh? I really wanted more from the characters.

This was cute, but I didn’t realize it was related to a series other than Sun Steer Tech so I didn’t understand the story behind Taylor’s friends
