very practical read with a lot of good information. the book includes numerous examples from real publications with quotes and information from a large array of published authors. the practical and pragmatic presentation contains a guideline for all columnists, magazine, & article writers to follow and, unlike most books for beginning / freelance writers - actually contains sections on the economic / tax situations associated with operating a small business.
