The tutorial is over, but the stakes have never been higher.

Drake has entered a transformed Earth, one reshaped by the System and teeming with deadly opportunity. But survival now means more than just leveling up. As a marked Forerunner, he’s caught the attention of ancient Primordials who see him as both threat and entertainment.

Under their malicious gaze, Drake must outthink, outfight, and outlevel everything this new world throws at him—because hesitation means certain death.

Experience the next stage of Drake’s journey in this action-packed LitRPG Adventure series where survival belongs to those with the skills to claim it.

I couldn't finish it, Drake is that bad.

I only read 16% of the book before I had to stop. I couldn't take anymore of Drake's idiocy. It is bad enough Claire is still alive, and the artist somehow made it from Japan to New York area in a couple of days by traveling by sea/giant bird.

The book is awful. Drake meets and becomes the leader of a new race of people's that are not from Earth and is still making stupid anime references. It is one thing to make the references to Partners who may not understand, but to expect a race of people who has never been exposed to Earth Culture to understand!?!? He is a F'ing idiot. I absolutely cannot respect a main character who is that stupid and crass. He renames the first orc he comes across from Sar 'Tul to Sarah, because her name is a mouthful. Reminds me of every teacher in the 1980's who couldn't pronounce a name from a different culture. Disrespectful.

You would think that with everything the main character had gone through in the three month tutorial, he would be a bit more worldly or mature. Nope! And even the author/main character admits he is a man child. He has the personality in this book of an annoying support character.

We are also now set up with a plot that the long lost brother is a human purist, killing every other race to purify their obvious deformities. The main character already admitted he won't kill him because he must be "lost." Drake has already admitted he and his brother are not close and that his brother was a bit crazy in the head. How the main character doesn't recognize another horrible person after he has already killed so many shows the author is not skilled in writing if he is causing his main character to back slide like that.

Just no! Don't even bother with this book.

PS.. Claire is still alive and would have to read about her at some point. That alone is reason enough to skip this book.

weird harem pivot

The series has been good, but book 3 pivoted to a harem based storyline but perversely with young children, 16 and under.

Stopped reading and zero rating.

I started this series with the audiobook for 1 and 2. The narrators do a fantastic job. The MC reminds me of archer, from the animated show, in how he sounds with the personality of Shawn from psych. Sadly, last I looked there was no audio for book 3. Still a great read.

I WILL KNOW PAIN - FROM WAITING FOR BOOK FOUR.

I'm not too far gone to admit that Dual Class has its issues - but wow am I addicted.

This book was just so fun. My main issue from book two, the pacing, remains a problem. However, my enjoyment rose to meet it and kept my rating at 4 Stars.

I don't know if a time will come when the issues outpace the fantastic here, but for me we are very far from that time. Several major moments in particular will remain in my brain for quite a while! Though to be fair, some of those moments rely on references to create a kind of nostalgic excitement based off the origin point.

It didn't bother me in the context of the character and world, but I know it would probably bother some folks so I thought it worth mentioning.

In any case, I would really like book four right now but I have no idea how far away we are from that until I go click on the page for it once this review is posted. So, off I go to see that and add it to my list!

The story is too long, too much fluff, don’t care about the side characters skill stones.

The story is good, has all the RPG lit tropes. Unfortunately, it’s too long and full of fluff. The only issue is the MC, he’s supposed to be 27 years old but he acts like he’s 14. And then there’s a creep factor a 27 year-old man letting 16 year-old girls crush on him. SMH. When the MC wants to be an avenging angel his character is excellent, but when he wants to be an anime, spouting goofball, dullard, idiot. It takes the book down quite a bit. I wish the author would have the MC grow up a bit and tone down the anime references. it seems like from what I’m seeing in the declining reviews that people are not reading the story or they’re fed up with the direction of the characters Ark. this story has great promise if the authors wish to turn it around if they choose to do so. This could be an amazing series.

It's good

You like the previous books in the series? You're going to enjoy this. If you haven't read the previous books in the series, you can start here but you get a lot more out of it. If you've read the previous books. Just a warning though. The first book is a little slow getting started but once it does it really does go well. This book has a lot of new characters and introductions which take a while to establish but are very entertaining and worth it once they get going as characters mainly revide in this variety. This review with voice to text to help the author get more views because this is some good writing and it deserves to be right by more people. Hope this helps you

Better than the last one but still needs work

It’s better than #2 but the main character is still deeply flawed, arrogate, and many times just stupid. The author thinks he’s funny but most of the time he’s just annoying with his writing. Unfortunately, he still moves the story forward with bad communication or no communication, just like in the previous books. But at least this is better than the last book. The material has plenty of potential if the author could just get out of his own way.

Slow and inorganic

First off, this book was a slog. To the point where it felt like you only needed to read 2 sentences per page to actually get the gist and not miss anything.

Then, add on top....Drake is just going around like there is no care in the world? Or, being ruled by emotion. Asurans are supposed to be battle maniacs, right? Not 15 year olds enthralled by puberty. But I guess that is the only way to create obstacles now? Just by having protagonist be moronic.

Only reason this isnt a One Star is because Natto is finally useful.

just too many bad tropes

I really wanted to enjoy this book and kept going back and forth on it. The team training took way too long. There is way too much for the MC to do and no time to do it yet the MC acts like he has all the time in the world. Everyone but the MC seems to be evil so there is no light in the book. Not sure if I will try the next one.

I was hoping for more of a payoff after we left the tutorial, MC is not really focusing on the things he said he would earlier in the series, I could have sworn he said his family was, like, his single reason for living..but these random kids are more impotant?

Continues the great series

More of what the first 2 books offered. Can't wait for the next book. The start of them back on earth was great.

Excellent

Very intense and well written. Lots of surprises and hidden truths in a deadly universe full of over powered that hold grudges.
