Lighthearted, witty, and entertaining, I laughed so hard when Sarah's knight in shining armor arrived on the scene that I got hiccups! Both Sarah and Lord Bentley are carrying a load of guilt and embarrassment as a result of an incident that occurred years before, and they have avoided one another like the plague. However, Lord Bentley decides that it is time to put an end to their skirting one another by arriving at the masquerade as a knight, hoping to appease Sarah's romantic soul. This gentle romance comes to a happy conclusion, despite some upsets along the way, and I was still chuckling when I closed my book. I received a copy of this novel as a gift, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
