Blood of the Covenant: Gripping Historical Fiction
Blood determines relation. Loyalty determines family.
For the last 17 years, a shadow has tormented the African coast, leaving nothing but carnage and rumor in his wake.
Sebastiaan De Vries is finally ready for a quiet, uneventful life. After years of searching for the woman he lost, he returns to the Cape of Good Hope, battle-worn and empty-handed, to be closer to her memory. His newfound peace evaporates when he encounters a boy who bears his name and he is forced to reckon with fatherhood.
Thrown into a web of corruption spun by an old and vengeful enemy with a deep score to settle, Sebastiaan stands to lose the little he has gained.
