What a delightful book! Christopher Nuttall and Raconteur Press has turned in a kids book that not only tells a fun story, but has fantastic themes for kids.
The book is about 2 boys who's parents have disappeared in space and they use their money to buy scrap freighters and make a spaceship so they can go out exploring and become businessmen. All the while their sister/guardian tags along, constantly doubting and annoyed with the kids.
The book is well paced for kids, and while the plot moves along pretty fast, there is plenty of time for the characters to have a good journey. I loved the themes about perseverence, failure, trust, dilligence, and more!
Christopher Nuttall has cracked exactly what makes boys interested in reading. I only wish this book was around when I was a child, as it would have ignited my love of reading. Overall, I'll give this book a 9 out of 10! Well done Christopher Nuttall!

Heinlein?
I grew up reading Madeleine L'Engle , John Christopher,
Robert A. Heinlein, Robert C. O'Brien, Peter S. Beagle, Norton Juster, Edgar Rice Burroughs , C.S. Lewis. I became a librarian in high school just so I got the new book before they went out. I have a wide background of science fiction fantasy westerns, etc.. even though nobody writes, thinks, or talks like Robert Heinlein, the gentleman is carrying through the feeling of his books. Many of the books I grew up with reading I’ve lost track of. It is nice to find a new generation that is continuing that tradition. The tradition of kids growing up and being what they want to be and being semi realistic as to the physics while drawing up the new worlds.

a fun little story
This story is a little different. In a good way. It doesn’t start with grand universal implications or great empire building. Or galactic wars. It’s just a dream of two brothers to work hard and maybe have an adventure or two. I found it interesting and relaxing to read. I definitely recommend it for your adventure.

RAH Reborn?
This was good. Very good indeed. Just far too short. :)
It had Elements of Dic Smith thrown in there too. I throughly enjoyed it hope Chris makes a good, long series out of it.

A much needed and fun preteen and older book.
Reminds me of the RAH juveniles I read 60 years ago. We , and my grandsonns , need more of these. Please write more of there Algeresque stories.

Fun quick read!

Excellent young adult book
The only objections are the heroes are really too young for the responsibility they take on they should all be teenagers, preteens could never do this

A Heinlien esk classic. I loved it.
I loved it. Just like the Heinlien books I read when I was young. One of those books that the only fault is that there wasn't more of it.

Not a bad story, although being based on everything constantly going wrong, I did begin to wish for a simple plan that was well execute and successfully concluded.

A great youth novelette
The story was good and reads like the adventures I enjoyed as a kid in the 60s and 70s. The afterward made me smile remembering. I recommend this book.
