He's relentless.

We are from two very different worlds. Jackson Sloane is the star quarterback for the Edgemont Eagles, and I'm...well, I'm just me. I learned long ago that that nothing good comes when a guy like that pays attention to a girl like me. It always leads to heartbreak and disaster, and I'm not looking for another round of humiliation and hurt.

Jesus, she's beautiful. From the moment I laid eyes on Lorelai Garcia, I was obsessed. And if her bangin' body wasn't enough, once I caught a glimpse of her fiery, passionate, and kind heart, I was done for. I'm head over heels for this girl. Now, I just need to prove to her that I'm worth the risk.

This is a spicy friends to lovers romance, but it does deal with topics some viewers may struggle with such as emotional trauma, eating disorders, bullying (not from MMC), explicit language, and descriptive sexual situations.
Please take these trigger warnings into consideration, and make the best choice for yourself.

This is book 2 of the Edgemont University Series but can be read as a standalone. However, characters are introduced in book 1. There is no cheating, an unrelentingly sweet MMC, and a HEA waiting for you at the end of this journey.

I've always been an enthusiastic reader with a love of many genres, but my heart belongs to romance the most! I live with my husband, four cats, and two dogs in Lancaster Ohio. I am a mildly obsessed fan of the Columbus Blue Jackets. I have the world's best job, working with adults with developmental disabilities. Writing a book has been a lifelong goal of mine and I am happy to say I can officially check it off the bucket list!

This was cute! Lorelai’s struggles hurt my heart. I know people go through that and it sucks because everyone deserves to love their bodies without shame. It’s good that she’s got someone in her corner and that her relationship with her mom is healing. I’m looking forward to the next book!

I don’t know that I have ever connected with a character as much as I as I did Lorelei. Her struggles with body image felt like my personal experience. This story had me in tears and also kicking my feet at times. Jackson is the perfect example of unconditional love.

Lorelai met Jackson when he helped her move due to a dorm fire. Her best friend dates his best friend. They have this amazing circle of friends. Anyway he instantly flirting and trying to get her to give him a chance. The inner voices remind her that she is not a quarterback’s type so she doesn’t believe he is really interested. When she finally gives him a chance things out of their control cause her to pull back again. Lorelai’s past has a huge impact on how she sees herself and how she interacts with others. My heart broke so many times for her and I couldn’t wait for her to get her HEA.

Throughout the story Jackson’s undying love for her is front and center. He puts her happiness above all else including his own. I said this about a Liam in book one but Jackson is also a man that only exists in books.
