I love this short book on how the resurrection of Jesus is believable, brilliant, and life-changing. It’s accessible, logical, and warm. I particularly enjoyed hearing snippets of people's stories about the difference Jesus' resurrection makes for them. The resurrection makes the best sense of the evidence and is the best news in the world. I'll be recommending this book to a wide range of friends going forward!

conflict of interest: Mike Hood was our relay worker at Warwick, so I might be biased in his favour.
That said, this is Truly one of the best apologetics books I have ever read. thoughtful, careful, poetically written and deeply convincing, this is quite possibly the best presentation of the facts, implications and ways of thinking about the resurrection I have encountered

Mike has done a brilliant job of this book

A perfect 'primer' on the evidence for the resurrection. I recommend everyone to read this!
If you're unconvinced that Jesus rose from the dead let Mike Hood present the evidence and you may become skeptical of your skepticism.
If you're a fully-fledged believer, let this book remind you of the evidence-based reason for your resurrection hope.

A well-written very accessible Gospel book on the resurrection and why the central question anyone must face is 'did Jesus rise from the grave?'. It is that question, that 'if' that does truly change everything.
The author walks us comfortably through why this is the most important question. He faces the objections clearly and gently shows that the evidence that we have from the Bible is the best and really only answer to explain the empty tomb.
He writes sensitively and in an easy to follow structure. If you had a friend who was truly seeking and was wrestling with the resurrection, this would be an excellent book to give them.

‘The if that changes everything’ is a helpful evangelistic book to give away to friends or family who want to explore the difference Jesus resurrection makes. It is easy to read with relatively short chapters and had appendices at the back on the Bible’s reliability, science and faith and aren’t all religions the same.
The main body of the book presents evidence of the reliability of the resurrection accounts along with fair representations of questions and challenges to it.
