Absolutely brilliant. Found myself audibly saying ‘wow’ multiple times as I read these little devotionals. Thoroughly recommended.

What a FANTASTIC book this is! 50 truths about Jesus that turn our hearts to praise 🙇🏻♀️
Whatever life throws at us, we always need more Jesus. Not more strength or striving rather, more of knowing HIM as our loving Friend, Redeemer, and Lord.
Allock’s book is a brilliant resource. He offers unique and clear insights into the many facets of Jesus. Each chapter sees him in a different light; his humility, beauty, light, and glory. Almost every chapter had me stopping, sitting back, and revelling in the delight and awesomeness of Jesus.
This book absolutely captivated my heart and soul, refreshed my look on Jesus, and filled me with joy and hope for the future…

A GEM of a book.
It helped that I started this on holiday in Slovenia. Each morning I'd read one of the 50 perfectly-formed meditations, and fold it in my mind like a gold nugget for the day to come. One simple truth, bobbing in my heart as we hiked round lakes and lush mountainscapes.
But it worked back home, too. Simple truths about who Jesus is or what he does, in clear, engagingly written 3-page morsels. Each one ends with the sentence, 'Jesus is wonderful because...' If I could have that sentence on the tip of my tongue, at any time, in any place - what wonders it would do for my soul.

This book is packed with joyful truths about who our Saviour is! I read this as an end-of-the-day devotional which meant concluding my days with my eyes firmly fixed on Jesus.

This was a very light read, yet it contained several genuinely profound moments. I appreciated hearing fifty reasons why Jesus is wonderful. I came to the book with fairly high expectations—hoping, perhaps, to encounter Jesus in new ways. Instead, I came away with a unifying and grounding truth: Jesus really is wonderful in these ways—and so much more.
What I loved most was how the book encouraged praise that is specific, detailed, and rooted in Scripture. Too often my prayers (and perhaps even worship music) can feel generic. This book had me saying “thank you, Jesus” again and again. He truly is wonderful.

This is a great book to focus your attention on who Jesus is and why he is utterly amazing, worthy of being loved and obeyed. Each chapter is short and yet deals with profound things in a clear and engaging manner with a closing question for reflection. Highly recommended.

I was especially moved by the chapter on Jesus as the Shepherd. In Ezekiel 34:11–12, God promises that He will come in person and take personal responsibility for shepherding His sheep. This truth deepened my appreciation for the tender care Christ shows us.

It may be tempting, especially for those of us who grew up in the church, to think we know all there is to know about Jesus. This 50 chapter devotional book helps people at any stage of faith discover that there is so much more that makes Jesus wonderful than first meets the eye. Jonty walks through 50 attributes and characteristics of Jesus that help you worship and wonder as you read and fall more in love with the Savior.

Soooo good! I think it will probably be one of those devotional books that will be with me forever, like my mum’s ‘manantiales en el desierto’ laminated, with pages almost broken…
It was a birthday gift from my friend Laura and I haven’t stopped recommending it. It really pushes you to be more in awe, in expectation and wanting to grow in our knowledge, love and likeness of Jesus.

This book is superb!
Brilliantly written, wonderfully pointing to the magnificence of who Jesus is, what he has done and what he continues to do.
The authors ability to apply Biblical truth to our worldly reality is outstanding, full of insight and encouragement.
I have consistently been overwhelmed and in awe of Jesus.

A wonderful devotional reflection on all that Christ is in eternity, as the promised one, in his incarnation, as the ascended one, and the one who will return.
