An awesome sequel to the first book. The main characters draw you in and you can’t help but love the secondary characters, a variety of mythological creatures with fantastical names. MA Batten draws you into the action whether you want to or not.

A sensational sequel to the first book, featuring a totally bad-ass FMC and quite possibly the most dramatic final scene I've ever read!! The slow-release world-building immerses you further into the adventure and the ongoing character development makes for an emotional rollercoaster.

A superb sequel that expands the world while deepening Dark's struggle with identity and monstrousity. The new antagonist of a relentless assassin with her own special skill really raises the stakes and makes for emotional twists in this unforgettable fantasy adventure
