I moved to Cambria to escape the chaos. Bought a broken-down café, planned to work alone, and maybe find a little peace. Then Savannah walked in—blonde, bold, and way too young for me. She didn’t ask if I was hiring. She just started working… and never left.
She calls me "Bossman". Teases like a brat. Walks around like she owns the place. And somehow, I let her.
Now she’s behind the counter, under my skin, and tangled in my sheets.
Coffee Cuties is the first book in a scorching new harem romance series packed with flirty banter, explosive sex, and an older café owner who’s about to be overwhelmed by the young women in his life.
Slice of life, May December romance, novella, adult situations
Plenty of buildup for the characters. Some things are raised as things that need doing, but then fall by the wayside. Either a few sentences here and there to deal with or omit them entirely. A good rule is if you introduce things, they need to be dealt with. A bigger point, a bungalow can described as a cottage, but not as an apartment.
Both have baggage to handle, but they didn't even talk about birth control with Cole making assumptions. It's okay to skip that for the story, but in real life therein lies the potential for misunderstanding and accidents.
There were hints of potential seriousness, but the ending threw that into question, making Savannah's shift from possible long-term commitment to a summer or college affair; polyamory may be fantasy, but in practice it takes a lot of honesty and communication to work, and we don't know enough about either to really comment meaningfully.
Better to spell out "okay" fully. Acronyms, like internet slang, should also be explained, as the older set (myself included) won't know what you mean. You could have had Cole ask for an explanation; a former COO will normally be computer savvy, at least for email, word processing, and even spreadsheets, but is less likely to be aware of internet slang terms.
Some hopefully useful notes on anatomy: single thrust full penetration is only possible after proper initial stretching (3-4 thrusts are usually sufficient). At rest, the sheath is on average only about three inches deep. Just as men will vary in size, so women will vary in their ability to accommodate their partner, with five to six inches being the norm for both sexes. Once stretched, the sheath will remain dilated for about five minutes after withdrawal before slowly contracting back to its normal resting state. The body is amazing!
Again, good first effort. Excellent editing. Overall, enjoyed. Wishing you good luck on your writing career!
Not really... Nice fantasy. Every old guy (like me) wants a Savannah to come waltzing into their life. Good dynamics between the two characters. Who would I recommend this too? Older guys who just want a nice little fantasy.
Cole (45) is recently divorced with a college-age son who's off to college. His corporate job caused a little breakdown, so he took a buy-out option and left Chicago. He moved to a run-down house in a small beach town for a mental "reset." He decides to buy a defunct cafe in town.
One day, Savi, a college student, shows up and talks him into letting her work there. They get to know each other as they work together. She thinks he's cute. She's a little flirtatious. She makes her move with whipped cream in the kitchen. (Fun, but probably not sanitary, LoL.) They start a situationship.
It ends on a cliffhanger with a new potential employee (Amy) giving Cole her resume'. Savi implies she might be open to some girl on girl action. wink-wink.

I enjoyed Coffee Cuties. It took some time to get going, but the detail of Cole's arrival in town and getting established in the shuttered coffee shop was well done and convincing. The dynamic between Cole and the FMC took time to develop and made sense in its pacing. The spicy part took a while to get going but was quite hot once it did. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Good story. Good writing, but there were a bunch of times things didn't make sense. Either from bad editing or generated content. Like before they open, they take actions as if they served people, and one time he grabs her wrist and puts it behind her back but she then places both palms on the wall. Not enough to pull you out, but enough to twinge and cause some confusion a time or two. Still good though, and I'm icking up the next one !!
I hope to read many more books by this author. The story is very well developed and the characters extremely relatable. The pace of the story was well developed and the world was designed nicely. I will be very interested in seeing where the author takes the reader in upcoming stories adding to this one. Very nice job Ms. Jules!
I found the idea behind the book appealing. I'm referring to both characters. It was a nice romp through college memories and Cole's turn of fortune. Given different circumstances, I would like to live their life.
Money well spent. I enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for your effort and good luck with your future writings.
An interesting and entertaining story about a Middle Aged Man embarking on a Cafe Business after Corporate Burnout. A young hot athletic beautiful blonde hires herself as his barista and later becomes his lover. Great fantasy for us older males. Definitely a must read.
Really like the characters in this story. They are both very unique and real people. Both are very strong-willed personalities. The connection between them is very palpable and yet stronger than it initially seems. I am very much looking forward to the next part of the story.
Well composed and paced story line which seems non-fictional about the coffee house and barista business! Pulls the reader in fast and keeps you there. Enjoyed the characters development and banter. Age difference can be sexy and stimulating! Get a pot of coffee to read, you won't put the down until you finish. Well done!
It was a bit bifercated with no sex for a while and then increasingly occurring. It felt a little formulaic but it picked over the entire book. Definitely a female protagonist that likes to challenge her guy. Would read some more if available.
Savannah was a breath of fresh air, I loved reading about what her character was going to do next. Will definitely read the next book when it comes out.
This is a comfortably written age gap story as you could tell it is based on a coffee house bases. I like the story I thought it was very pleasant, easy to read, and super hot.
