This is most definitely a great series. Some of the stories are super graphic and it's not for the light-hearted. This particular book had me at Longmire as the sheriff (although his first name wasn't Walt). There are those who know who I'm referring to. And the setting happens to be in Northern California which is where I reside. The storyline has Sadie and her partner (referred to as Ken & Barbie) investigating the cartel and human trafficking going on in Roseville, CA. I feared for Sadie's safety as she has been in some gruesome situations and been a victim and yet manages to dust herself off and continue.
This story has it all! Great characters, many plots going on and a high fear factor. I'm certainly looking to the next in the series!

Good Investigation
Once again a really good,gruesome, frightening at times murder/detective story. Since I am not a fan a books that can't decide if they want to be about dysfunctional relationships or gory tales of killers,I've found that by skipping over what I am not interested in I don't feel like I've missed anything. I still sincerely doubt her behavior would be tolerated the FBI but nevertheless enjoyed the describe ways in which the Russians were murdered.

Our gal does it again
This series has captivated me from the very beginning. All the characters are so well written, you just have to fall in love with them all, even if you don’t know whether to root for them or not. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out, you end up getting surprised. Please keep it up. Love, love, love this series!

Love this series!
Sadie is probably one of the most likable characters out there. You'll find yourself cheering her on, holding your breath and laughing out loud.
I honestly hope this series goes on for a long time!

Love this series. Full of mystery, suspense and ass kicking. Sadie Grey, a strong female FBI agent, takes down some some very bad people with a little help from her friends. She is a spitfire...Love her....I can't wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend them all.

The books in this series are filled w great characters and great stories. The details are VERY detailed, and a little gross, 😂 but the books are hard to put down. I highly recommend!!

This is a very good series, great strong female FBI agent and engaging plots. The book just speeds along and you reach the end before you know it. The loose ends are tied up in a satisfactory manner but leaves enough open to encourage to find out what happens next in Sadie's life.

Great Series
A fully engrossing read. I find all of this series intense and challenging. Each book keeps you on the edge of your seat, but the characters still have some soft centers. This type of genre may not be everyone's taste, but I love it.

Not enough substance to much flash
I do not like as the books continue, more and more "gen-z" references are pushed with more and more sexual references and less on the actual plot of the book. I think this will be the last Sadie gray book I read.
