OlympicVerse #3

Knot Going Down

Rate this book
They’re an unlikely group. But after their paths cross during the Summer Olympics, and flights across Europe are canceled, three athletes are stranded with no way home unless they fake a pack bond with a DEA agent and the charming criminal in his custody. Their ticket back? A cruise ship headed for the U.S.

Keeping up the pack charade is harder than it looks, especially when unspoken feelings, unsorted loyalties, and unresolved histories bubble to the surface.

Tensions run high when their fake pack gains an unexpected omega. Scent matches spark. Secrets unravel. And the lines between fake and forever blur.

But not everyone’s ready to bond for real. Will they make it home as something more or fall apart before they reach the shore?

Knot Going Down is intended for an 18+ audience.

I am a SUCKER for a good omegaverse and this one didn't disappoint. 🤭

This book follows two alphas, two betas and one spicy omega. Declan is a security guard and is given an assignment to take down a criminal mob boss but to do that he needs help from Knox. 🤭

Declan and Emily have been going out and when she sees Knox with him feelings that were long buried start to make an appearance. 🙂

Ava doesn't want to belong to a pack but she has no choice when she designates into an omega and her heat is fast approaching.🥲

The problem is Declan doesn't fully trust Knox, both Knox and Declan don't want Ava because she's an omega and Emily doesn't want a committed relationship with an Alpha. But Lucas will do anything within his power to make them all a pack. 😭♥️.

This made me want to reread Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas 🤭.

YES YES YES YES YES. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 this was everything i wanted in an olympicverse. MMMFF romance, intrigue, exploration and a cute’ dog 🥰 I DEVOURED THIS STORY. I was giggling and fanning myself the whole way through. It is such a fun, feel-good read that’s hard to put down

i loved getting to know Emily better after knot giving up 🤩 This story can definitely be followed without having read KGU (though i highly recommend that duet because 🥵 ), thea and jenni do a great job bringing you along on the ride and filling you in what you need to know. >>>> Declan & Knox are just SUCH an unlikely duo and the tension between them is SO SEXY. Plus Ava is a sass queen mixed with the goofy sunshine energy of Lucas- chefs kiss. Its very fun to watch such an unlikely group of people all get thrown together on a cruise ship and realize how hot it can really get.

This was such a good time! It was so fun to be back with Emily and Ava after reading Knot Giving Up and these two and their guys were perfect together. I love any book where everyone is together together 😏 and this one didn’t disappoint. This one gave new meaning to love on the high seas 🤭

Redemption for Ava!

Going into this I was a little skeptical about Ava being one of the main MCs. She did redeem herself at the end of the last duet but it wasn’t enough in my opinion for a chance with this pack.
But booooy was I wrong! I absolutely adore her know. Especially her relationship with Emily, who by the way is the sweetest of sweet things. Just like our boy Lucas 🩷
His former “pack” SUCKED! They literally just used him and threw him away like trash :( he deserves his happiness after everything.
The first duet was amazing. Though I think this book itself has topped it for me.
It has just enough fluff, angst, and intrigue to keep a girl interested.
I honestly can’t wait to see what’s next from these authors 🩷

I’ve loved these authors previous work in the Olympicverse and with welcome to bone town.
This is book three in the Olympic verse which is centered around Maggie’s Beta bestie, Emily being the center of attention of 2 alphas Declan and Knox; one being DEA and another who is on the wrong side of the law but with a Heart of gold, A bisexual beta, Lucas and a late designated omega, Ava that she’s grown close with during the Olympics and while her best friend Maggie had found her scent match mates and went into a heat.

Emily has been having her sexuality questioned and her boundaries tested in that she’s still nursing a broken heart from the alpha (Knox) she lost her virginity too that ghosted her when they were in Highschool and has now shown back up in her life with longing and regret. He left because he was told he needed to if he cared for her as she was a beta and he did and broke both their hearts in the process.
She made a no alpha rule to protect her heart but is drawn under Declan’s attention, he knows she’s meant to be his and so far all they have shared are passionate kisses and both wanting more. She’s scared but not sure how to make a move because this is meant to be a fling.
She’s also got the attention of a Brazilian rugby player who was rejected from a pack he was trying to court but he already had a pull to our Emily and her friend Ava.
This unlikely group of nd up being put in a position of forming a “pack” to get back to the states but when a newly designated omega goes into a heat and feelings, desires give in the lines blur and they all are trying to decide what this truly means.

This is my first MMMFF. I have only ever had my omegaverse or poly books be MFMM+, MMFM or MMMF. So I wasn’t sure how much I would like this poly relationship involving multiple women especially as usually an omega gets territorial in a pack and doesn’t usually include other women. But this was heartfelt and fun. There is banter, some angst but you get a wonderful HEA.
I only marked it down slightly because of the female omegas personality kind of annoyed me but I came around to her about 3/4 through. But the plot, character development and spice is all there in a delicious package.

“No space, no fear, only raw connection to the man who barreled into my life and claimed me before I thought I was ready. Because he knew what I couldn’t believe yet. We belong together.”

✔️MMMFF (everyone is with everyone) contemporary sports omegaverse
✔️forced proximity (on a cruise ship)
✔️bi awakening (one of the FMCs)
✔️only one bed
✔️late designating omega & surprise heat
✔️fake pack
✔️no 3rd act breakup

5⭐️, no notes. I went into this book a little nervous about how a couple of the story elements would play out (just because of my own personal preference), but those nerves weren’t necessary at all. The amount of respect that the MCs have for each other, and how they know what each person in the pack needs to feel safe and secure is absolutely perfect. There is some tension between the two alphas, but they figure it out and their “fuck it” scene is everything I hoped it would be. I have never read a book quite like this one, and though it has all of the “sweet omegaverse” elements that you expect (designations, knots, heat, bonding, scent matching) it feels like a fresh take. While you can 100% read this as a stand alone and don’t have to read the Knot Giving Up duet first (this is a different pack) I highly recommend it for additional context.

In this book we find our main characters all at a crossroads in life. Declan (MMC, alpha) is a DEA agent, and he arrested Knox (MMC, alpha) because he is a dealer for illegal suppressants and can help Declan take down the drug ring. Declan and Emily (FMC, beta) are together and he is already sure she is his future, though she is terrified to let him get too close because she “knows” that, as an unbonded alpha, he will abandon her the moment he meets his scent matched omega. Ava (FMC, omega) was the antagonist/OW drama in the Knot Giving Up duet, and though she knows it will probably never happen because of her past actions, she has feelings for Emily. Lucas (MMC, beta) was just kicked out of his pack post-olympics, and he has a way to get them all home when flights are grounded. While all of these characters are so different, they fit together so well. They all *know* that this arrangement is most likely temporary, but when Ava perfumes in front of the alphas for the first time everything changes.

I love how much love and respect the other MCs have for Emily throughout the book. Usually, when an omega is involved, late presenting or not, the beta(s) are sort of cast to the side but that is absolutely not the case here. Whereas other books revolve around the omega, this really feels like Emily’s story as much if not more than Ava’s. Ava absolutely gets what she needs and wants, but not to the detriment of Emily and I love that because Ava gets her redemption and we see who she really is. The pack family is built (the bonding is *chef’s kiss* perfect) and is just as important as the individual relationships. I just want to add, seeing a beta being taken care of (emotionally and physically) during their omega’s heat by her alphas was special and something I don’t think I’ve ever read before. I can’t stop thinking about this book and know this will be one I pick up as a comfort reread in the future.

*Thank you so much to the authors (Thea Masen & Jenni Peck) for the opportunity to ARC read this book! All opinions are my own*

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I read the first book, so I knew the characters coming into this. This was my first foray into FF and unfortunately it’s just not for me, but the way the authors wrote those certain scenes was very well done. The cohesiveness of the group didn’t sell for me, but the story itself was wonderful! I love each character individually, just not together. This is a very well done poly omegaverse romance, and I’d read more by these authors.

Okay, Yall. I know I read a lot of Omegaverse.....

But when I get MM and FF in one book, I do a little happy dance cause my big poly-bisexual heart just loves love.

So, did I absolutely annihilate this book on release day?
(Cause I woke up at 2am after a nightmare and needed comfort)
Why Yes I Did! 🤣🤭🫣

So brb, while I sob over how much I loved this pack.
Even with the stubbornness and all the Alpha-posturing, I loved the way Declan and Knox came together.
I love watching Alpha pairings happen because the dominance you usually see is still there, but there's a vulnerability that forms that is just *chefs kiss*

I also just love when Betas have such important roles in the packs SO HAVING 2 WAS AWESOME AND WATCHING THEM GET LOVED ON WAS EVERYTHING.

So this is another 5⭐️ omegaverse book that I will recommend forever and ever.

In true Thea and Jenni style these guys hit it out of the park again! I laughed, my eyes leaked, I gasped, I swooned, and I loved every second. This book is a seamless addition to the universe created by Knot Giving Up and also a story that can stand completely on its own.

I loved the love I felt in this book. All the characters have deep reservations about committing to a pack for completely different reasons. Each has to go through their own healing journey.

My favorite is Knox because I can’t resist a bad boy with a good heart and Emily because second chance is my jam! The others are wonderful too, especially Ava and all her walls and claws.

The spice is PHENOMENAL. It’s a tid bit of a slow burn but the wait pays off I promise! The group scene is *chefs kiss* perfection.

What a great continuation of the Knot Giving Up universe. The setting and the pack dynamic are surprisingly different than the usual alfa/omega formation, and it works really well. I love how they are all drawn to each other for different reasons, making it an emotional and exciting read.

Almost dnfed - needs another tw (spoilers)

There is a scene that I would consider cheating. It is between members of the pack, but before they have admitted they want to pack up. The chatacter doing it has been holding off having sex with the FMC beta and saying he just wants her. But, he decides to let the MMC beta get him off. This is before he has spoken to her about wanting him or if they'd be ok together.

He only tells her after the fact. The FMC beta is someone who has high anxiety about rejection. The scene where he tells her gets resolved as if it's nothing and didn't ring true to me. Everything was just let go. Now to me, a person who is in a relationship sleeping with someone else without explicit discussion and approval...well, that's clearly cheating.

That scene completely tainted the book for me. I made myself finish it, and the rest of the story could be cute, but I just never got back to the realm of enjoyment.

This one wasn’t my favorite :/ not rating but leaving my thoughts below.

Emily and Ava mostly ruined the book for me. Emily with her constant “I don’t date unbonded alphas.” Okay so you date bonded alphas? That’s even worse lol. Just say alphas. And maybe it’s just me, but Ava was irredeemable to me in the other books. I don’t like the whole “mean girl gets a redemption” trope. I think the book would have been significantly better without her character.

Another thing that bothers me with this book is that yes, everyone is for everyone but it’s like they slid into that without really solidifying their connections with Emily first. The side comments about wanting to do things with each other or found the others attractive kind of rubbed me wrong. Listen I can’t fully explain why because I love an everyone’s with everyone trope - literal feral for these kind of books - so I should have loved this book through and through. But the flow of it just was not flowing naturally and the connections weren’t explored. Maybe it’s because it’s 2am that I’m having a hard time explaining it but maybe I’ll edit when I wake up so it makes more sense lol. I feel the most bad for lucas but I also kind of feel sorry for Emily (even though she drove me insane). She’s wanted to be an omega her entire life and everyone around her mysteriously turns into one or isn’t happy to be one and she has to continue on as a beta girlie. I don’t think any of them gave her as much credit as they should have.

Okay, I hate to say it but I can’t do it. I’m sorry but if Emily has history with Knox and Ava goes and kisses him just to keep it a secret and tells him and Lucas to not tell anyone? I get that by the end of the book they’re all going to be a pack, that’s a given. But at this point only Declan has shown about 85% loyalty (still having thoughts about wanting to do things with the others) to Emily while the others are just doing whatever they want lol. What a way to build a relationship(s). Which is wild because NONE of the group would know each other if it weren’t for Emily. It just feels gross because although it’s not outright said, it really does feel like she’s being put on a back burner and probably because of her designation status. I mean Knox kissed Ava because he found out she was an omega (and because she asked for it) without even considering how Emily would feel. Her first love that just ghosted her and when she confronts him in present time he doesn’t have the balls to give her the truth but he could go and kiss her best friend. Be so for real rn.

My first official DNF in about 600-700 reverse harems. I’m so sad too because I was really hopeful for this book even after reading the reviews. Maybe I’ll retry in a few months and update my review then.

This was the third book in the Olympicverse Omegaverse series, with the first two being a duet with a different pack. I didn’t read the other books, so this was my introduction to this world, and I thought it was such a fun idea. This is an Omegaverse where some of the main characters are also Olympians. This was a cute Omegaverse where 5 random people end up faking a pack in order to get home from the Olympics by traveling on a cruise ship after all of the flights are cancelled. Each one of the main characters has a reason to be scared of joining a pack and forming relationships. Of course, nothin brings a group together like when you put a group of alphas, betas, and maybe an omega together. There was a little bit of drama, a little bit of angst, and a lot of hidden feelings that threaten to come to the surface that made this an enjoyable read that I felt moved very smoothly and read very quickly. I was able to finish this in only a day or two because I found myself enjoying the story and wanting to know what was going to happen between all of these characters.

Each of the main characters were so different that of course they come together to make the perfect pack. One thing that is a staple in so many Omegaverses is that the omega tends to be the lynchpin or the central point. In this one, it is actual a beta, Emily, that brings them all together. All of the other main characters come together because of their attraction to the beta. Emily is a silver medalist in diving and the sweet innocent beta. Then there is Declan, the uptight, prime alpha that works as a DEA agent, Knox, a slick drug dealing alpha that has a back story, Lucas, the Brazilian rugby playing beta, and Ava, who was probably my favorite character. She is the uptight, ice queen, that really just keeps her walls up to protect herself.

I read so many omegaverses and I almost never get to read them with FF pairings. I love being able to have two bi women who have such a strong connection with each other. The chemistry between these two was stronger than any of the other characters. It took a little bit for the spicy scenes to start in this book because every character refused to voice their feelings. But once it started, the spice was perfect. This was such an enjoyable Omegaverse and definitely one to add to my recommendations to others.

omg. this was everything I've ever wanted. When I received this ARC I didn't think it could get much better than Knot Giving Up but holy shit was I wrong. This was so amazing and I'm surprised I loved it the same if not more than the first book. I don't know how I didn't realize but when it dawned on me that Ava was going to be a love interest in this book I knew I was. Goner. I'm a sucker for enemies-to-friends-to-lovers or just friends-to-lovers in general and this did that so well. Who knew the wicked witch of the pool would be so amazing? She and Emily had me SWOONING. Like, bad. I need thea and jenni to forever write wlw stuff because I would do anything for them. Anyways, when the Paris Olympics ended and Knox had been busted, everyone was content (ish) to go their own way. Well, when flights are shut down and the only way back to America is a cruise ship they can't pass up this opportunity. The only problem is the suite they stay in is a pack bonding suite. Now this unlikely, and quite complicated, group not only has to pretend to adore each other but another curveball was thrown when an omega appears. Tensions are high and scents are matching and with nowhere to escape to, will they survive and thrive together, or will they tear each other apart in the process? Y'all I loved this. So much. Like everything about this was so perfect. Big shoutout to Lucas for being the literal glue keeping them all sane. And for the beta handbook🤭😘 Emily was such a ray of sunshine that everyone gravitated towards I just adore her. Declan was a grumpy asshole but a true romantic at heart. He was such a good leader. Knox was the comedic relief and justified brat, we all needed. He deserves the world. And Ava. the unlikely favorite of mine. An absolute badass who will crush anyone who threatens her or the ones she loves. What Thea and Jenni did in regards to her arc was so perfect. Those two scenes where she went full badass. Omg. I swooned. Everything about this was so good. And I know I'm saying Ava was my favorite but in truth everyone was. I just love them all so much. You know a book's good when you just finished it and already want to reread it. I never wanted this to end🥹 this was just so perfect in every way possible.

I got to read this as an ARC and when I say "got to" I mean happily blessed to get this one early.

All of the main characters are revisits in some way or another, and we (mostly) get to see their bright sides. Declan has some dickery traits I kinda wish Knox would smack out of him. Unfortunately, in my opinion, he doesn't redeem himself for a bit of unacceptable behavior/attitude towards Ava. He is lucky she moved past it. Emily, Lucas and Knox bring their prior selves to the pages and show us just how wonderful they each are. Knox especially shows up, proving his earned status as Meggie's trusted contact. Ava is the surprise winner of the story for me. I would love to have learned way more about her history. It's a bit vaguely hinting toward childhood parental failures but we never got that full description to support her tendencies. Gunner the crime dog also deserves all the treats, adding a delightful thread of silliness and devotion to the mix.

This story has really great pacing, great editing with few if any typos, and a reasonable story arc that was fun to read. You get a good mix of emotional story and funny moments with the best thread of sassy snark. It has a few nice unexpected moments as well. Just like Meggie's book, it gives a great alternate universe spin on a contemporary world event.

This is very much an open door HEA with mixed relationships. It reads relatively comfortably - consensual and well timed within the plot, nothing feels forced or crowbarred into more important action.

If Declan hadn't tried his hand at proving Meggie's point about alphas, and if Ava's backstory had more flesh, this probably would have been a perfect read for me. As is, it's definitely one I would recommend for a fast fun read.

This was my first book by either author, and I definitely want to go back and read the start of this series!

I liked that everyone was so different from one another, but still fit so well together. Sometimes with a larger pack/ why choose (this pack had 5- 2 alphas, 2 betas, and a surprise omega) people can blend together, personalities are hard to differentiate, and it just gets confusing. That wasn’t the case with Knot Going Down!

Knox was the bad boy criminal. He was all snark and sass, with a smirk that held wicked intentions. But underneath that alpha exterior, he wanted to submit and to feel worthy of love.

Declan was the typical alpha- strong, stoic, and serious. But he was also broken from the past and conflicted about his future.

Lucas was the sweet golden retriever beta. He was really the glue of the pack (and the reason they all ended up on a cruise ship together to begin with!). He was quick to flirt, had an endearment for everyone, but deep down was looking to find his place and for people to want him in return.

Emily was the one that I felt most connected to through the book. Not that I’ve ever been in a pack or why choose situation 😂 But she was worried that she was forgettable, that people would leave her behind, and wasn’t as sunshine-y as she always portrayed herself.

And then Ava was the one that surprised everyone I think. She was the Wicked Witch of the Pool. Icy, standoffish, and didn’t have time for other people and their emotions. But under that was a woman that was insecure, wanted friends, and was fiercely loyal.

They were an amazing pack, even as they fumbled their way through figuring that out, and I loved reading their journey

I'm not sure what these authors put in their books... but once I pick them up I cannot put them down.

If you love omegaverse and why choose romance this is a must read!

My thoughts:
-This entire series has been absolutely incredible!
-Right from the start you fall in love with the FMC Emily and you want her to find her HEA.
-Insert a familiar FMC that none of us are you fond of from the previous books in the series... however not everything is always as it seems... and I have to say I didn't think it was possible but you start to actually like this character.
-The MMCs are all sooo different...yet all have these two goddesses that they're all orbiting.
-Despite their differences they all managed to fit together like one very unique and complex puzzle.
-This book will have you in all of your feels... these characters didn't manage to fall into this unique situation without the drama and some trauma.
-The way they manage to pull together and heal together is beautiful.
-They fight hard... and love even harder.
-There's tons of great banter and ALL the tension!
-And when that tension snaps... lawd have mercy it's HOT... there's tons of growls, scent marking, knots, and all that glorious heat haze!
-And we can't forget their little emotional support doggo Gunner, who's by their side even when they don't have beef jerky to bribe him with!lol
-Seriously if you love feisty FMCs, growly alpha MMCs, golden retriever beta MMCs, and your group activities to include knotting... then this is a must read!

Back in the Olympicverse! Let’s gooo!
I have been so excited for this book. I absolutely loved Knot Giving Up. Pack Hart forever! And I couldn’t wait to get back to those sweet but angsty vibes that Thea and Jenni write so well.

Even though we got to see a little bit of each character in Knot Giving Up, it really was like being introduced to a completely new group because there was so much more to them all beneath the surface.

I loved seeing Emily and Ava navigate a connection and with their contrasting personalities it was so nice to watch them understand and support each other so easily.

The MMCs were a really mixed bag of personalities and unlike Pack Hart, these guys didn’t know each other at all before this story. So it made the forced proximity plot very entertaining.
We had Lucas the ‘golden retriever,’ Knox the confident smart mouth, and Declan ‘needs to be in control’ McLaren. I really felt that the slogan for this pack could be opposites attract because even though everyone was so different, it worked.

That’s what I love about omegaverse. All the different characters coming together to form a pack. The exploration of each dynamic and how they fit together. This story did not disappoint.
And while I would have loved to have seen a little more build up of specific individual connections in the group. I enjoyed every word and couldn’t put it down!
Also Gunner must be protected at all costs. I love that sweet puppy dog!

Thea and Jenni are such a fantastic writing duo and I really hope we get more stories from them.

This is the first book that I’ve ever read by either author and man, I devoured this book. I’m a huge sucker for omegaverse books and this has me in all my feelings. This book was so well written from the spice to the emotion and to the healing from these amazing characters.

Im a huge fan when a beta or an alpha has a last presentation of becoming an omega. Those are the best stories in my opinion. I loved the girls friendship that slowly turned into more. I loved how Emily guided Ava to being an omega.

I loved Lucas so much. He just wanted a pack so much. At first, I wasn’t a fan with Declan because of his alpha righteousness but then he turned a leaf. And Knox - yep, this man was my absolute favorite. He was so used to running but he was done. I felt the emotion with him so much and I just wanted to hug him.

I love the little bit of action we got in this amazing story. A little drama goes a long way.

I’m so glad that they got there happily ever after. I wanted so much but I knew it to end somewhere. I can’t wait to see more from these characters.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

I very rarely highlight, and almost never include quotes in my reviews, but I think the two opposite quotes below show just why I loved this book so much:
"We are five disasters with boundary problems trying to make mango chicken. Simplicity left the boat three meltdowns ago."

"There's no fear in her scent. She smells like danger wrapped in dessert. (She) isn't prey. She's the storm that swallows the room whole."

I loved the first two books in this series, and was so excited for the opportunity to read an ARC of this one. Knot Going Down includes a ton of scenarios that I love all wrapped up in one package. There's a brooding, possessive alphahole who's incredibly consent forward, a morally grey hero who just wants the best for people in a broken system, a sunshiney heroine who is suppressing her anxiety and needs permission to let the clouds roll in, a socially anxious heroine who hides that discomfort with an external bite, and a lovable golden retriever of a hero who loves love with his whole heart.
This fits into the subgenre really well while also upending some of the general patterns that are not for me in Omegaverse stories. If you're looking for a fun summer romp that is super high heat, while also bringing some well-rounded characters, Knot Going Down is a great read.

This book is the third in the series of books set at the Paris Olympics. It has reoccurring characters from Knot Giving Up and benefits from having read the previous books however could also be read as a standalone.

The writing style is a glorious mix of interesting and fast paced storyline full of lots of humour.

I enjoyed Knox’s chance at redemption and loved his back story including his history with Emily it was very second chance feeling.

Ava developed hugely from the previous books although I would have like some of her personal history.

Emily is a sunshiny beta but talks of being darker at times. Her character is brilliant and the glue that holds the story together , a genuinely loveable character.

Lucas I’d forgotten from the previous books but loveable, central to the story line and not well treated in the past. I liked how supportive and flirty he was.

Declan was the most alpha but was a bit of an arse at times.

Circumstances and a love for Emily put them in unusual circumstances and we get to follow along as the adventures unfolds.

I’d definitely recommend this book as it’s fun and a quick fast paced read. Stylistically was perfect but felt could have done with a bit more character background.

A fake pack bond, a cruise ship, and a ticking clock: Knot Going Down takes an already wild premise and turns it into something addictive. The setup is pure chaos in the best way, with three athletes, a DEA agent, and the criminal he’s escorting, forced to play happy pack just to get home. It should be a disaster… and it is, but in a way that’s endlessly fun to watch unfold, yet very sweet and caring at the same time.

What makes this shine is how vividly each character stands on their own. You can feel the sparks and friction between them from page one. There's the sharp banter, the awkward closeness, and the slow unraveling of walls they’ve each built. Knox’s snark, Declan’s stoicism, Lucas’s easy charm, Emily’s sunshine-with-a-shadow, and Ava’s ice-queen edge all mix into a dynamic that’s unpredictable but believable.

The tension is constant, not just romantic or sexual but emotional, the kind that comes from people figuring out if they can actually trust one another. And when the chemistry boils over, it’s scorching. Add in some laugh-out-loud moments, a few gut-punch reveals, and one very determined emotional support dog (we <3 Gunner), and you’ve got a read that’s as entertaining as it is intense.

This isn’t just another poly omegaverse romance, it’s a tightly written, high-heat, high-drama story that knows when to hit you with the feels and when to make you grin. Another great installment in the OlympicVerse.

Thank you to the authors for an advance copy of this book.

I read my first Omegaverse back in February. In fact it was Knot Giving up part 1 and 2 then the Christmas novella. When I saw there was going to be another in this series I was excited.

This is an Omegaverse MMMFF. There is 3 athletes, a DEA Agent and a drug dealer. I have read so many why choose and reverse harmes book. Also read a lot MM not as many FF books. So I was glad to have all in one.

Emily is a diver and I love her. They way she basically brought everyone together because she is the one they all know. I liked her personality and just everything about her.

Ava well to be fair she is in Knot Giving Up part 1 & 2 and I don't like her but in this you see a completely different side to her and you get to understand her.

Declan just they way he is so protective of what's his and how he looks how for the people he loves. One of my faves.

Knox is definitely a bad boy and gives off the bad boy vibes but I like reading his chapters and learning why he does what he does.

Lucas I love this sweet man. This man just wants to be wanted like most people do.

I absolutely loved this story. I loved the connections they all had separately and together. I wish it was longer because I just want more of them and more of them as a pack.

This is honestly a scrumptious chocolate cake of a book but I just prefer...strawberries?!

- A fun and unique omegaverse why-choose story about five unlikely people who find their way to each other to form the perfect pack.
- The characters are well crafted. Each has their own wants, goals, painful histories and insecurities. They might not seem like they'd work on paper, but it's so heartwarming to see them all come together and heal the broken pieces in one another.
- I really appreciated that the authors took the time and care to develop each relationship.
- Ava! I love her whole story arc. She also kicked ass at the end. If you think you know Ava from Knot Giving Up, you have no idea!
- If you enjoy MMMFF, late presenting and secret omega, forced proximity, second chance romance, scent matches, bi awakening, everyone's together, group fun.
- An adorable dog and funny banter are just the cherries on top!

- I had an epiphany in the middle of reading this: I prefer an established pack to find their missing piece rather than multiple individuals coming together to form a new pack. There's nothing wrong with the latter, just a personal preference.

Thank you to the authors for the chance to read prior to release day on 8/15!!!

Knot Going Down was an absolute rollercoaster of a ride! We start a bit before the end of Knot Giving Up and it’s really fun to see it from this new perspective.

Our main characters all have some healing to do. For their own personal reasons, they are all hesitant to join a pack. The 5 of them - our girl Emily, the Wicked Witch of the Pool Ava, heat suppressant dealer Knox, DEA agent Declan, and rugby player Lucas - all end up on a cruise together as a fake pack for *reasons*. They definitely do knot have feelings for each other and they’ll be able to go their separate ways when it’s over.

I absolutely loved the unconventional nature of all of the relationships and how deep (and not so deep) down, the characters just want to be loved for who they are. There were a couple times I felt bad for Emily but the others make sure our girl is well taken care of. I adore these characters and would love to see more of them in the future. I’m a Declan/Knox girlie (their banter was my fave) but I love them all ❤️❤️

If you loved Knot Giving Up, absolutely recommend this one!

This was such a fun read! I loved getting to dive (pun intended) back into the world of Olympic OV. Even with all the hints left in prior books, I didn’t see all these characters coming together, but I loved it!

Without spoiling anything, I absolutely LOVED the order in which the pack formally bonded. Who bonded who when was such an unexpected order and I felt it really made the book so much better!

This had plenty of twists and turns, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen at several points throughout. It kept me on my toes, while still being full of sweet and spicy scenes. All the characters are fantastic, with complex pasts that play important roles in the formation of their pack. I want a Lucas of my own (and a Knox and Declan)!

I don’t often find poly packs with ff, mm, mf, and every possible combination, and I was so pleased to see that here. Love for everyone and it was beautiful!

Highly recommend! You don’t have to read the prior book first, but I definitely recommend you do, as it’ll make everything make more sense. All of these characters are introduced in the prior book at some point, so you’ll want the context.

Yes. Just yes. Favorite omegaverse I have read this year. The pack dynamics of this one was pure chaos and I was here for every second of it. I don’t even know which pairing or pairings was the best. I loved how none of the characters were in a pack and how this pack built itself. Everyone is with everyone and it is so delicious. Lucas is gives off these spicy, playful, golden retriever vibes who wants a pack so bad. He is proud to be his beta self and just wants to show his love. Declan is the serious daddy vibes alpha and it was so much fun to watch Knox get under his skin. Know was beautifully complex with his nonchalant but feisty demeanor that hid how caring he really was. He is a brat and an alpha and it’s everything. The relationship between Emily and Ava was so precious to watch grow. I loved how Ava was not a typical omega and her struggle to accept her new designation brought depth to her character. I could’ve read another 200 pages of their story. I loved every second of this book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
