He submitted a character named Pandaman for Yudetamago's classic wrestling manga Kinnikuman. Pandaman was not only used in a chapter of the manga but would later return as a recurring cameo character in Oda's own works.

One Piece Volume 111
This volume goes from chapters 1122 to 1133 and finishes the rest of the Egghead arc that was left and right after that Oda starts perhaps the most guarded arc of the work promised 1000 chapters ago the long awaited arc of Elbaf the land of the giants and this beginning was more of the transition from one arc to another and to situate the readers about the characters in this new island they are in and also of course we had at least two bombastic things the first was the appearance of the character Loki showing for the first time his appearance in the work and the second was the emotional reunion between one of the members of the Straw Hats and a dear friend I will not go into details so that everyone has the same feeling of reading this for the first time but it was very exciting and we have already started the arc well and now it remains to be seen if this arc will live up to all the expectations that were created about it during all these years I really hope it is epic.

This volume wraps up the Egghead Island arc and (much to Usopp’s delight) begins a new adventure in the land of giants!
We ended last time on the very satisfying vision of Bonney and Vegapunk’s statement that the fate of the world will be decided by whoever finds the One Piece! Now we get to see reactions around the world to that news. One of my favorites is:
“Impel down guard 1: Why are you letting them hear the message?
Guard 2: Every snail in the prison is playing it! And we can’t stop them!”
Because I have a strong suspicion that the person behind it is
Also pretty good:
”Dragon: We must hurry and achieve victory for our cause, before the people of the world kill each other to secure habitable land!” (Because Vegapunk said the world might flood/sink). Dragon gets a lot of flak for not doing anything, and he doesn’t ON PAGE…but I think the problem is that he acts more like a normal general than an anime hero! The Revolutionary Army has been winning battles and laying siege to the Celestial Dragons; their leader just hasn’t been jumping around punching people in the face! Maybe his appearance in Loguetown set up false expectations, because we all assumed he was responsible for the storm that saved Luffy…but it’s possible the guy doesn’t actually have powers!
The idea of the giant robot is super intriguing because it raises the questions of A) how and B) if that’s possible, how did Joyboy lose? Seeing Imu absolutely shook when they felt it was cool, too…followed by the shadowy bastard regaining worthy final-boss status by . The appointment of indicates we are definitely due for a return to the God Valley flashback, and I cannot wait to find out what actually went down there. It isn’t great that the World Government has access to now, though!
I’m also really looking forward to a reunion with Princess Vivi and/or Shanks, both of which feel like a distinct possibility now. The former seems likely to happen sooner, because Vivi seems to have sneaked a message into one of Big News Morgan’s photos () and, of course, because the whole “give this straw hat back to me when you become a great pirate” thing would logically put the Shanks reunion closer to the end of the story. For now, it is fun to see little drips of information about Shanks – like the way he seems to be using his status to - while keeping him still quite the enigma.
Anyway, the Straw Hats and their giant friends have a big reunion party at which much absinthe is consumed. The monster trio and the weakling trio wake up in ancient warrior dress (seriously, look at this range of amazing to hilarious drip! https://comicbook.com/anime/news/one-...) somewhere that might or might not be Elbaf, while Jinbei, Robin, Brook, and Franky are left wondering where the heck they went!
The deer skull mask guy is up to some shit. But can you just imagine That’s a hilariously bad day! There’s a couple of Skypeia callbacks here I love, from Zoro’s goggles to Nami and Sanji hating bugs. There’s some great Norse mythology references as well, from the giant tree Yggdrasil to a chained-up guy named Loki to a rainbow bridge you can actually sail up.
But the heartwarming highlight is the reunion between and Robin (who’s re-cut her bangs for the occasion). Robin has had such a hard life, so it is great that she is able to show the person who told her

I swear, the last couple of volumes have had me sobbing my eyes out. It's wonderful.
We're finally here! We've arrived at the land of the giants, and what a fun and fascinating experience it is already, with just the perfect amount of this blanketing ominous feeling to keep me on my toes.
The call of adventure is singing in my blood just as much as it is in Luffy's own, and I can't wait to unravel all the mysteries this new land holds.

Solo por llegar a Elbaf y ponerle cara a Loki este tomo es historia, pero me quedo con Joy Boy y Emmet (viniendo lo que se viene en los siguientes capítulos, no puedo ponerle cinco estrellas).
El reencuentro del final también está emotivo, pero es un recordatorio del maldito problema de Oda.

The iron giant talk to Luffy. At first, the iron giant mistaken Luffy as Joyboy but now he knows that Luffy is the one that will continue Joyboy's will after hearing Luffy full name. The iron giant regret that he cannot make Joyboy a king. The iron giant released a powerful Conqueror's Haki that knocked down almost all the Marines. The Gorosei suddenly become human due to the Haki and were sent back to Mariejois. The Conquero's Haki is Joyboy's. He stored the Haki inside the iron giant long ago.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1123
Two weeks ago, Dr. Vegapunk, Shaka and Edison detected an anomaly that indicated that someone has tampered with the Mother Flame to steal its energy. One week ago, after several investigation, Edison found out who the culprit which is York. But the have been to late because the information about Dr. Vegapunk's research on Void Century already received by the World Government. 6 days ago, Lulusia Kingdom was destroyed and Dr. Vegapunk knows that World Government possessed the Ancient Weapon and the Mother Flame. 2 days ago, Dr. Vegapunk finished recording his message about the truth using the Transponder Snail inside the Iron Giant.
Back to the present, Straw Hat Pirates and the Giant Warrior Pirates successfully escaped the Egghead Island. They head to the Elbaf.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1124
Akainu contacting Egghead to know the situation. Everyone is knock out. Kizaru tells the situation. He even feels sad to kill his bestfriend, Dr. Vegapunk. On the giant ship, Lilith is awake. Luffy is sad because he couldn't save any of the Vegapunks. Lilith said that everyone is still alive, in consciousness state. They heaf to the Elbaf.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1125
Aftermath of the Egghead incident, Saint Saturn left on the Egghead along with other Marine. They prepared to leave the island and not continue chasing Straw Hat Pirates. In Mariejois, Saint Figarland Garling was appointed as the new Gorosei, replacing Saint Saturn as the Defense Science Warrior God. Saint Saturn was killed by Imu after he let Luffy escaped.
The cloud factory in Egghead suddenly become uncontrollable and then York destroy it. The Punk Records have been disappeared. All the Vegapunks that presumed dead floating on the roaming cloud along with the Punk Records. They asked a help from Weatheria. In Kamabakka Kingdom, the Revolutionary Army plan to achieve their victory faster before people of the world is killing each other to reclaim the habitable land. The Tequila Wolf, Vodka Wolf, Rum Wolf and Bourbon Wolf were all built as the preparation for the disaster for over 700 years ago.

A month ago, Bartholomew burned Red Hair Pirates' flag in Gartel Island. Bartholomew and his crew were defeated. Bartholomew was forced to drink a poison that supposedly to kill Luffy. He drink the poison with no hesitation as a show of his loyalty towards Luffy. Shanks released them and feel grateful that Luffy have a friend that loyal as Bartholomew. Yasopp then blow up Bartholomew's ship. On that day, Barto Club ship was sunk and
yet to known any survivors.
In Hachinosu Island, Blackbeard scolded Pizarro for letting Koby and Moria escaped. But, they still have an advantage as Garp and Pudding were in their possession. In Navy Unit Shipping HQ, Lafitte reporting what happened there. The Revolutionary Army is keep sabotaging the Bondolas that supposed to take a food supply up to the Mariejois. Later, Devon and Caribou arrived at Hachinosu Island.
The Giant Pirates ship, the Great Eirik is still on their way to Elbaf. Suddenly, the sunlight is gone. Nami wakes up in a strange place.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1127
In Elbaf, the giant town was caught in fire. Back to Nami, she awakes in a strange place. She met Usopp who is attacked by a giant cat. Both of them were chased by the giant cat. Luffy, Zoro and Sanji appears to defeat the giant cat. Their adventures in a new place begin!
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1128
They meet a man who rides a giant grasshopper. The man tells that they are in the Land of Gods. Luffy and his crews charge to the adventure beyond. As Luffy run, he hit into a sky and it broke. It is revealed that they are in a cage that built like a town. They found Chopper.
Later they were attacked by a giant snake and crow. Suddenly, a giant appears. Luffy and his crews escaped by using the cat that they defeated before.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1129
The giant that known as the 'Sun God' is chasing the Straw Hat Pirates. They were in the giant room. Not long ago before, the Sun God's pet, the crow, bring Straw Hat Pirates to his room. They were put to sleep after they head to Elbaf from Egghead by going through the Sleeping Mist Belt.
Nami and Zeus managed to use a thunderbolt to the Sun God and instantly knock him down. Luffy destroyed the wall and escaped from that room.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1130
Robin, Franky, Brook and Jinbei are still on the Giants' ship. They will wait for the remaining crews and set off to Elbaf. In Elbaf, Luffy and his crews come across with two crews of New Giant Pirates, Gerd and Goldberg, who arguing about Hajrudin. They went to see Elder Jarul.
A newspaper arrived. New bounties wete released for both Brogy and Dorry where they have a new bounty of 1.8 Billion Berry. Luffy also accused for murdering Dr. Vegapunk. The giants on the ship are talking about Loki, the accursed prince who devoted himself to darkness. There is a legendary Devil Fruit that been passed down in the royal family. Loki killed his father, King Harold for that Devil Fruit. Now, he is sentenced to crucifixion.
In Elbaf, Luffy meet a giant that being chained to the tree. He called himself Sun God Loki who will bring the end of the world.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1131
Loki have a special bounty of 2.6 billion Berry. He was chained by the sea stone under the Treasure Adam Tree for over 6 years. He wants make a deal with Luffy to unchain the sea stone and in return he will wipe out all pirates for Luffy. The key is in the village above. Loki was chained in the realm called the Realm of the Dead. The criminals and condemned were dropped down here as the place was a prison and an execution ground.
The mountain beasts there bring back a memories of Luffy during his training in Ruskaina Island. Loki called Shanks a coward and suddenly he was attacked by Gear 4 Luffy. Loki managed to dodge it in a short distance. Luffy asked Loki about Shanks' business with him.
In a certain place, Sanji's group was chased by Rodo, Gerd and Goldberg. Goldberg is bringing Sunny on his hand. In the Realm of the Dead, Hajrudin and Stansen defeated some mountain beasts for Luffy. In a certain sea, Robin's group was still on their way to Elbaf. Brook cut Robin's hair same like when she was before time skip. Not long after, they arrived at Elbaf. A bad news arrived where Saul was fallen.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1132
The Great Eirik arrived at Elbaph. They ride a rainbow to reach the village. Elbaph was divided into three levels; the Realm of the Dead, the Sun and the Heaven. Many villages located in the Realm of the Sun.
At the bridge between the Realm of the Dead and the Realm of the Sun, Luffy remembered his deal with Loki so he didn't say a word to Gerd and Goldberg. They reunited with Zoro, Sanji, Nami and Chopper who being disturbed by weirdo Rodo.
The Straw Hat Pirates reunited in Elbaph. They finally arrived in this long-awaited island, the island full of adventures same as described by Louis Arnot, the explorer.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1133
22 years ago, after the Ohara incident, Robin was marked as a fugitive with bounty of 79 million Berry. Everyone despised her and she was hunted down by the Marine.
Back to the present, all technologies and wonders such as island and sea clouds, Sabao bubbles, rainbows and hovers all coexisting in Elbaph. Luffy reunited with Hajrudin and his New Giant Pirates. Gerd bring the Straw Hat Pirates to Owl Library where Saul resided. Finally, Robin reunited with Saul. It's turned out that Saul was drifted in the ocean during the incident.

They meet a man who rides a giant grasshopper. The man tells that they are in the Land of Gods. Luffy and his crews charge to the adventure beyond. As Luffy run, he hit into a sky and it broke. It is revealed that they are in a cage that built like a town. They found Chopper.
Later they were attacked by a giant snake and crow. Suddenly, a giant appears. Luffy and his crews escaped by using the cat that they defeated before.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1129
The giant that known as the 'Sun God' is chasing the Straw Hat Pirates. They were in the giant room. Not long ago before, the Sun God's pet, the crow, bring Straw Hat Pirates to his room. They were put to sleep after they head to Elbaf from Egghead by going through the Sleeping Mist Belt.
Nami and Zeus managed to use a thunderbolt to the Sun God and instantly knock him down. Luffy destroyed the wall and escaped from that room.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1130
Robin, Franky, Brook and Jinbei are still on the Giants' ship. They will wait for the remaining crews and set off to Elbaf. In Elbaf, Luffy and his crews come across with two crews of New Giant Pirates, Gerd and Goldberg, who arguing about Hajrudin. They went to see Elder Jarul.
A newspaper arrived. New bounties wete released for both Brogy and Dorry where they have a new bounty of 1.8 Billion Berry. Luffy also accused for murdering Dr. Vegapunk. The giants on the ship are talking about Loki, the accursed prince who devoted himself to darkness. There is a legendary Devil Fruit that been passed down in the royal family. Loki killed his father, King Harold for that Devil Fruit. Now, he is sentenced to crucifixion.
In Elbaf, Luffy meet a giant that being chained to the tree. He called himself Sun God Loki who will bring the end of the world.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1131
Loki have a special bounty of 2.6 billion Berry. He was chained by the sea stone under the Treasure Adam Tree for over 6 years. He wants make a deal with Luffy to unchain the sea stone and in return he will wipe out all pirates for Luffy. The key is in the village above. Loki was chained in the realm called the Realm of the Dead. The criminals and condemned were dropped down here as the place was a prison and an execution ground.
The mountain beasts there bring back a memories of Luffy during his training in Ruskaina Island. Loki called Shanks a coward and suddenly he was attacked by Gear 4 Luffy. Loki managed to dodge it in a short distance. Luffy asked Loki about Shanks' business with him.
In a certain place, Sanji's group was chased by Rodo, Gerd and Goldberg. Goldberg is bringing Sunny on his hand. In the Realm of the Dead, Hajrudin and Stansen defeated some mountain beasts for Luffy. In a certain sea, Robin's group was still on their way to Elbaf. Brook cut Robin's hair same like when she was before time skip. Not long after, they arrived at Elbaf. A bad news arrived where Saul was fallen.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1132
The Great Eirik arrived at Elbaph. They ride a rainbow to reach the village. Elbaph was divided into three levels; the Realm of the Dead, the Sun and the Heaven. Many villages located in the Realm of the Sun.
At the bridge between the Realm of the Dead and the Realm of the Sun, Luffy remembered his deal with Loki so he didn't say a word to Gerd and Goldberg. They reunited with Zoro, Sanji, Nami and Chopper who being disturbed by weirdo Rodo.
The Straw Hat Pirates reunited in Elbaph. They finally arrived in this long-awaited island, the island full of adventures same as described by Louis Arnot, the explorer.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1133
22 years ago, after the Ohara incident, Robin was marked as a fugitive with bounty of 79 million Berry. Everyone despised her and she was hunted down by the Marine.
Back to the present, all technologies and wonders such as island and sea clouds, Sabao bubbles, rainbows and hovers all coexisting in Elbaph. Luffy reunited with Hajrudin and his New Giant Pirates. Gerd bring the Straw Hat Pirates to Owl Library where Saul resided. Finally, Robin reunited with Saul. It's turned out that Saul was drifted in the ocean during the incident.

Oh, finally. Goodbye Egghead, hello Elbaf. I have been waiting this for so long and oh it did not disappoint. This volume is really really good. It has so many great and iconic moments. It’s funny, it’s emotional… everything you want. But I have a lot to say so let’s just get to it.
Let’s start with the ending of the Egghead arc. It’s really good you guys. One of my favorite moments was definitely Buggy being a communist - I mean, come on, the way he says our dream is hilarious. I also love that we get the backstory of how Vegapunks filmed the message and deleted their memories of it because they found out that York was the traitor. And the line about Vegapunk wanting the Straw-hats to find the One Piece goes really hard. But I feel like the best part of this conclusion are the emotions that come with it. First, we get Sentomaru crying… and then Kizaru. I never really liked Kizaru, but after this? I can’t not feel bad for him. I mean, he was friends with Vegapunk and he was tasked with killing him. He has every right to yell at Akainu. We also have Gucci saying that Stussy died which I love because it continues their relationship from the previous volume (though that was probably Kaku’s report of the events). Not to mention, Vegapunks are mostly still alive (if only in some parts) which is really cool and it’s really funny how quickly Lilith gets over that. And Saturn dies so I like that. Unfortunately, Garling replaced him. I hate this man. I know we’ve barely seen him so far but what we did see is enough for me to absolutely despise him.
Sorry, that was kinda chaotic, but it’ll get better. I swear.
It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for aka the beginning of the Elbaf arc. Firstly, I have to say that I’m so happy we finally reached it. I mean, Usopp wanted to see it so much and I’m so glad he’s finally here. Another thing that I’m obsessed with is their outfits. Why does everyone look so hot in them? Especially Sanji and Zoro (I’m sorry, I’m just not used to Sanji looking this hot… in most arcs it’s his personality that wins me over).
But as for the plot, it’s really clever. I really like this idea of them waking up in this fantasy world that a giant created for his own entertainment. And it’s so good that it begins with my girl Nami. She’s so frightened that I actually felt bad for her. And her finding Usopp before everyone else and using him as a shield? Hilarious. We need more focus on Nami. But hey, the monster trio does have a pretty grand entrance not gonna lie. Besides, they just ate an entire giant rabbit… iconic. Also Rodo does seem quite insane in here and I love that Gerd constantly keeps refering to him as a freak later on because she’s absolutely right. Also Zoro and Sanji work together to stop him from getting to Nami which I adore.
However, the most iconic part starts when they escape this room because we finally meet the one and only… prince Loki. He is… not like I imagined him to be. In a good way though. He looks much more sinister and I love that. His design is really good and so is his writing. He actually does seem like he’s trying to trick Luffy into setting him free and we don’t see what they talked about all the way through so I hope Luffy doesn’t actually do that.
As for the other part of the crew, they also get to Elbaf and I have to say that I kinda love that Robin went back to her bangs. It just screams Robin and differentiates her from other female characters (which will be even more helpful in the anime where all women actually look the same with different hair colors). And oh, they are sailing on a rainbow which is so cool. I mean, how do you come up with the idea that you can draw rainbows with a stone and that you can then travel on them? It’s so cool. And then at the end they go to meet Saul and it’s so beautiful. I mean, Robin crying and then the rest of the crew (except Luffy and Zoro) crying… so good.
The last thing I want to talk about are the events that are happening throughout the world. Namely, I want to focus on Shanks’s and Bartholomeu’s (not sure how to spell that) encounter. It’s so good from start to end. I was mad at first that Shanks apparently wanted to poison Luffy but then Barto drank it and I was really proud of him. And then just when they thought they’d be able to leave Yassop just shot them down. I mean, I’m pretty sure that Barto is still alive but it’s hard to say that for everyone.
Overall, this was a great volume. I love this beginning of Elbaf and I can’t wait to see how this arc progresses. The only prediction that I’m going to make is that I think it’s going to be longer than Egghead (or at least about the same if the events of it continue in another arc). I’m giving this one 5 stars. I’ll see you with another One Piece review in a few months.

The aftermath is heavy: Saturn pays with his life at the hands of Imu, Garling takes his seat among the Five Elders, and the Straw Hats finally escape, setting sail toward the long-awaited Elbaph.
But the story doesn’t slow down (if anything, it accelerates). ¡No entiendo nada lo del robot, la cancelación de las invocaciones gorosei, lo del nudo de joyboy, pero todo apunta a que es lo que yo decía del tiempo con Luffy en el pasado y todos leyendo la historia del pasado que ocurre en el futuro. AJAJA No se entendió nada lo que quise decir, pero que quede marcado en la historia que yo quise decir algo así de confuso!
Cuando One piece se pone a tirar palabras entre corchetes y mostrar misterios a lo lost es cuando mas me pone cachondo. Me esta comiendo la curiosidad como nunca antes en todos los años que vengo leyendo. ¿Quien diría que me pondría mas fanático en esta estapa que en otras?

the ship isn’t reaching elbaf even though it’s travelling at a fast pace. then suddenly, the sunny is gone.

Le robot géant aide une dernière fois Luffy et ses amis à s’enfuir en déclenchant le fluide de Joy Boy qui avait été enfermé dans son corps. Le conseil des 5 doyens a donc échoué dans sa tentative de tuer Vegapunk avec ses secrets et d’empêcher les Chapeaux de paille de s’échapper. Suite à ça, Saint Saturn est tué par Imu et remplacé par Gatling.
On apprend que Vegapunk est bien mort mais avait découvert qui était le traitre et a trouvé le moyen de survivre via ses différents clones.
On a apprend que Bartoloméo est vaincu par l’équipage de Shanks qui a décidé de se venger du fait que le rookie avait attaqué une de ses îles. Shanks me parait de plus en plus sombre et son titre d’Empereur n’est pas volé.
Luffy arrive sur Erbaf où il découvre un géant qui est enfermé suite à l’assassinat de l’ancien roi d’Erbaf.
Robin retrouve Sauro après 22 années et suite l’incident d’Ohara.
Je ne vois pas ce qui pourrait se passer mis à part le fait que Sauro pourrait raconter ce qu’il a vu ses dernières années.

Realmente valió la pena la tardanza con el pasar de los años al llegar finalmente a Elbaph. Con un mundo espectacularmente grande y visualmente lindo junto con la presentación de personajes nuevos (Ripley & Loki ufff🫦) y la carga emocional que maneja en la búsqueda de respuestas sobre el siglo vacío llegando a así al reencuentro de robin y saul !!! 😭 ya dando por confirmada las bases en esta recta final contra lo que se viene y lo que seguramente haga luffy para cumplir con la profecía aaaaaaa no puede ser tanto cine. Si con egghead andaba extasiada de tanta epicidad no me imagino lo que nos queda…

So, yeah, catching up with One Piece is always a trip.
I was just loving wrapping up Egghead Island and heading to Elbaph and it was all just as much fun as I expected, but I did NOT expect to be blubbering and getting all snot-nosed at the end of the volume.
What the hell, Oda. What the hell. It's not FAIR. This is just too much.
I'm stunned into tears.

With a final push from them and their allies, the Straw Hats manage to escape Egghead Island, at the cost of potential comrades - but as the Gorosei scramble to recover from Vegapunk's broadcast, the crew is suddenly split up, leaving some in the hands of a god and Luffy meeting an imprisoned killer! Oda draws one remarkable arc to a close while bursting forth into the next with this exciting entry, a monumental stepping stone fans will easily devour. While the world shudders, Luffy and the gang are off on a whole new adventure!
