Two bounty hunters on a mission. A blistering attraction. A shitty motel room. One bed.
Harper and Liam have been rivals for as long as they can remember. Their job even requires them to be highly competitive with each other when in the field but their personal lives got sneakily intertwined through time.
Problem is, this particular case brings them to a remote island where there’s only one room available at the local motel. After years of not admitting that what links them is way more than just professional, this feels like both a blessing and a curse.
But they are willing to put everything on the line for this bounty. Including their sanity.

Nooooooooo, why isn’t this a full-length novel? WHY WHY WHY???????? I seriously loved it. WOW!!!!
This was way too short. I loved their connection and would have loved to have read more about their time together. Really sweet steamy story about two people who secretly love each other and hold back from revealing their true feelings to one another. They both care for each other but neither is willing to take a risk until they end up in a one bed situation and when they get together the sparks fly.
I'm rarely left satisfied with a short story. It's either due to a lack of depth and emotion in the short space of pages. But this book doesn't disappoint or anything, it makes me want to know more.
I wanted to learn more about Harper & Liam. To gain a deeper connection to their tortured soul and about their past. But, the author still manages to pack a lot of emotion into such a short story.
M.H. Cali has done it again! This is my fourth book by her, and I'm head over heels - I'm totally obsessed, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
This 44 pages novelette packs a punch, telling the story of Liam and Harper, two bounty hunters on a mission, who can't deny the sparks flying between them.
They have to spend the night in a shitty motel room. Now where's the spice in it? Here it is👉🏻 The room number is "69" like damn🔥 that's not just it. There's only one bed🥵 To know more, read this book right now.
Well, I loved the storyline and tropes of the book. Character development could've been done a bit better but again it's a short read so, ig, that can be ignored. The spice level is at its peak 🔥 I devoured this book in an hour & liked it.
This is a very quick and spicy read. But there is still a past and a plot and you get a really good feel for our MCs really well for such a short read. Squealing and kicking my feet at the end!
Starting from the dedication that said “To everyone who needs to turn off their brains, and just want a break once in a while. This is pure filth. You've been warned,” to the end, this book was great. It was short and spicy. I went into expecting all filth but the way M.H writes, even in the short amount of time you spend reading this, you feel for the characters and understand them. I will forever read anything she writes.
A short 48 page smutty read… this book literally worked as the perfect smexy pallet cleanser for me.
GIRLLL and that foreword!!! Good grief!! Listen so one of my favorite things about this book how she manages to have an actual plot WITH smex scenes. The longing to be with someone you’re not supposed to!! Ahhh I love it
sometimes you just need a book thats 10% plot and 90% smut! and thats ok! because baby the book was still banging! 1 room 1 bed! and the rest let that be history! this short Novella was super good! Liam and Harper! story was just to good!
