Betrayal burns deep, making the past hard to let go.

A betrayal sent Bones out into the world and ultimately into the arms of his beloved club, the Pagan Souls of Cherokee. Many have wondered what is in his past that would make a medical doctor become a biker. His story is one that a rare few knew, and he prefers to keep it that way. He knows he can hide for a while, but the past has a way of catching up to him.
During a club party, the celebration is halted by the shouts of a prospect, running through the compound with a beaten, barely conscious woman in his arms. Bones takes over and works to find out what has happened to the woman. She’s clearly been abused. By whom? Why? Fury mounts in him the more he discovers.

Blythe runs to the one place she can think of when her means of escape lets her down. She’s been living a horrible nightmare for months. Tonight, she escapes, and she’s running as far away as she can. If she’s caught, she’ll end up losing her life. She doesn’t want the Pagans to fight her battle; she just wants them to help her get far away.

As Bones and the Pagans work to keep Blythe safe, take care of the one responsible for her condition, and bring a monster to justice, they have no idea how truly heinous her monster is. And it brings feelings out in Bones that he thought were long dead. Bones and Blythe find a genuine connection of the heart. However, before they can be entirely free and together, his past reaches out to open old wounds. Both their pasts and Blythe’s abuser must be put to rest. And in one case, that means in a very permanent and deadly way.

Two hurt, distrusting individuals are set free to love. Bones will always keep his Firefly.

An avid reader with a passion for romances that finally got the chance to write one of her own. The rest is history. Not what anyone thought for someone who has been a nurse and in healthcare management for years.

I sit writing as my two fur babies, my pugs Kujo and Khaos, impatiently wait for me to get done so they can lay on me as their human sofa!

My children are finally considered to be adults, so it's me, the hubby and the dogs.

I'm a iced tea drinking fiend who has insomnia, more ideas than I know what to do with, and a need to write them down.

Not too bad for a girl from rural Ohio in the foothills of Appalachia that grew up in a town of about 4000 people.

Despite the fact that I've read all of Ciara St. James' books, I don't think I'll ever tire of her stories.

Not only does she bring us guys that are absolutely smoking along with a hot story- she brings forth relevant issues in today's society. Bones and Blythe run into each other in an unexpected way- when she escapes a dangerous and abusive relationship and finds herself on the Pagan's doorstep.

Seeing his brother's fall in love and have kids brings that want to the forefront of Bones' mind, but the problem is he's been hurt before and he doesn't know if he can go down that road again. He kept all that information to the knowledge of a select few. Bones is immediately drawn to Blythe but knows she needs to heal and the same could be said for Blythe. Sparks fly between the two of them but they take it slow due to their combined paths.

Throw in problems from her ex Deon and Bones coming to her rescue all while adding the spice of the budding relationship between Blythe and Bones.

I cannot wait for more in the Pagan Souls of Cherokee MC!

This is an another hit for Ms. St. James. These stories are both hot and insightful to some of today’s problems. Bones and Firefly meet in an unexpected way, but the sparks are there and they grow the longer they are around each other. Firefly was in an abusive and dangerous relationship with a man who uses women for personal gain. When she wanted out , he showed her who he really was and that was her wake-up call. She left and found her way to the Pagan Souls Club, that when she and Bones meet.
Bones has been feeling the pull of settling down, but hadn’t found anyone who pulled at his emotions and heart. When. The prospect brings him Firefly, his emotions and heart stand up and take notice, and he is a goner.
What follows next is a love story that brings you right into the middle and doesn’t let you out, you’ll cheer for them and fall in love with the family of the Soul’s just like everyone else who meets them.
When the club finds out what her ex was planning, they took matters in to their own hands and dealt out justice that will not let him and the people he was working with breath the air any longer. This way all women an d children will be protect from that form of violence.
Bones and Firefly, their love and lives are full and they are raising the next generation to be strong, independent, and loyal to each other and the people they consider family.

Enjoyable in places but drags in others. I wasn’t keen on Bones either. He had a lot of ‘bad moods’ that made Blythe insecure.
While I enjoyed parts of this book, there was a lot of it that I really didn’t like. Bones’ character was one of those things. I understand that he’s had a bad experience with his love life, but he acts like it was something really huge and it’s affected his whole life, when really it wasn’t.

Bones really wants a woman in his life, but he’s afraid he’ll never find one and never be able to trust them. I really don’t understand parts of his character. I’m not sure what him being heartbroken has got to do with him running a laundromat instead of being a full time doctor. It’s bizarre. When Blythe is found beaten and pregnant Bones is instantly captivated by her and moves her into his house. Blythe has come from an abusive and controlling relationship and at times during the book I cringed at their relationship.’ She was convinced that she was in love with her ex, then she realised that she didn’t love him and loves Bones. Erm what now??? It’s too fast! She shouldn’t have moved into Bones’ house and they could have built their relationship after a bit. They don’t get into a relationship straight away but it’s not long after.

Blythe of course is in danger from her ex, who makes a lot of threats and doesn’t actually do anything. The ‘danger’ is blink and you’ll miss it. It’s over so fast that it was a major letdown and not believable at all.

Then there’s Bones’ character. All through the book he thinks about a big trauma he had in his life and how it affected him, and how he will have to tell the club at some point as most of them don’t know. When he told her what it was I was confused, as yes it’s awful what happened to him in a relationship but it’s not traumatising for the rest of your life, not working as a full time doctor traumatising. He goes into ‘bad moods’ as he’s calls them and when he does he avoids Blythe, doesn’t hardly speak to her and won’t have sex with her! So poor Blythe thinks he doesn’t want her. One of his moods was set of by a phone call from his estranged brother. It felt abusive him doing that, and I’m sorry but it spoilt it.

There’s a lot of mistakes as well. Theres a whole plot that’s never finished and people who need dealing with, but it’s never mentioned what happened.

The one thing that redeemed the whole book is the humour throughout. At times it’s really funny and I really liked how the men were with Blythe.

Bones and Blythe were such a wonderful couple. Bones' past was a closely held secret, only the officers knew. He kept it all to himself, having reinvented his whole identity into that of the biker with an MD. Blythe's situation is terrible and she finds the courage to escape and the will to keep going until she finds safety in the Pagan's compound. Bones is immediately drawn to the bruised and battered woman, feeling sparks like never before. They have quite the journey to happy ever after but with the love between them and the support of their club family, they are triumphant! I loved these two, they quickly mesh into an enviable partnership. The passion and love between them was awe inspiring. Can't wait for more from the Pagan Souls of Cherokee!

Winners Bones

Oh my, this was an awesome story. But then again I wouldn't expect anything less from this author.

Bones and Blythe, had the world against them. They shouldn't have been able to forge a relationship through everything that started transit relationship. Bones is a biker with a caring heart. A heart that makes him the perfect doctor. Blythe loved antiques. She knew about them as if she was there when they were made.
Trouble came calling when Blythe showed up at the compound. But Bones found her attractive. The friendship that blossomed between these two set the stage for more to come.

The plot was incredible. The characters added to the story with each passing moment. If you haven't read any of this chapter of the Pagan Souls what are you waiting for.

Things were good for Blythe at the start of this one. She was lucky that she remembered that the MC was there and sought help. I knew things weren't good for , but didn't expect them all to find out what they did when they got to the root of the problem. That made me not mind one bit what happened to the "bad guys".

It was nice to see Blythe brought into the fold and all the advice she got from everyone, Bones too, when he almost screwed things up. Once these 2 were on the same page, they were solid together. First goal was to get Blythe safe, second was to deal with Bones' family and that was done in a great way.

Always 5 stars for this author.

Once again I have fallen in love with characters created by Ciara St. James. I adore Bones and Blythe and greatly enjoyed their love story. It is romantic and steamy with a little chaos thrown in. I love catching up with all of the characters from her past books and seeing the bits of growth that have taken place in their lives. I really enjoyed Bones' story, his character is one of my favorites. I'm so glad to read about his happily ever after. I really recommend this book or any other book by this author. For continuity of the storylines it is best to read them in the order she suggests.

Another awesome Ciara St James book!

The latest addition to the awesome MC world of Ciara St. James is an absolute MUST READ. In addition to staying caught up with the rest of the Pagan Souls, we meet a couple of new people and they’re a great fit with our guys.
Bones & Blythe are great together, and the drama that they endure with Deon (who is probably the WORST bad guy Ciara has come up with!) is jaw dropping. And of course, the 🔥🔥 factor is off the charts!!
If you’re looking for a book to read at the beach, or curl up on the sofa reading, you can’t go wrong with Bones’ Firefly!!

Book six in the Pagan Souls of Cherokee MC series. When the club gets a broken girl on their gates. Bones is one of the brothers who finds her. With a past of betrayal with his own family bones doesn't believe in ever after. Blythe is running no she’s escaping from the worst nightmare you can possibly know. She fell for the wrong guy. Now she has someone else who needs her to be strong. Bones and the club always protect the innocent, with her its family. Now they have to protect her and keep them safe. Great add on to this epic series.

True Family!!

Another fantastic book and steamy addition to the Pagan Souls chapter. Blythe stumbles into the compound after being severely beaten by her boyfriend. Bones provides medical attention to Blythe and never thinks he'd find his other half. Blythe had a little surprise, and Bones was more than willing to support her in every way possible. Bones and the club do whatever it takes to keep Blythe and the rest of the family safe. Blythe and Bones have plenty of drama on both sides but stand beside each other through it all and find their hea.

Bones and Blythe

Pagan Souls just got a whole lot steamier with Blythe stumbling into the compound after a nasty bout of boyfriend-induced bruises. Bones, Mr. Fix-It, tends to her and stumbles upon his perfect half. And if that wasn't enough, a surprise little bundle of joy is on the way, which Bones couldn't be happier about supporting Blythe through thick and thin. Amidst all the drama, the club's got everyone's back, especially Blythe and Bones, who find their own happy place together.

love ❤️

I absolutely loved Bones’ Firefly—it’s one of those books that grabs hold of your heart and doesn’t let go. The raw emotion between Bones and Blythe pulled me in from the very beginning, and I couldn’t stop turning the pages as their story unfolded. I loved how Ciara St. James wove together pain, healing, danger, and passion in such a powerful way, showing that even the most broken souls can find love and redemption. This book had me feeling everything—anger, heartbreak, hope, and ultimately joy—and that’s what makes it so unforgettable to me.

Bone’s Firefly by Ciara St James

This is part of the Pagan Soul’s series. It is Bones and Blythe’s story. Their story is one of instant love but as they were both hurt by others it took them a little while to admit it. Blythe had been beaten by her Boyfriend before she stumbled in the Pagan’s compound. Bones is a doctor that took care of her. Their romance advanced but there were problems with both Deon and Bone’s family. Naturally they got their HEA but only after much drama.

Simply AMAZING!!!!!!

Seriously?!?!? Okay….I knew Bones’ story was going to be good. But this book???? OH MY GOSH. Blew all expectations out of the water.
Bones and Blythe could not be more perfect for each other. Their story is phenomenal. MC drama, mystery, intrigue, family drama, spicy good stuff and a relationship that has a firm foundation for the long haul.
There is nothing about this book I didn’t love. Simply AMAZING!!!!!

true love

I enjoyed reading this book. The characters are perfect for each other. There is something different in this book, but I can’t figure it out. It didn’t seem rushed. The story seems different than most MC books. Most FMC in MC books have terrible pasts and are broke. Although Blythe was battered, she wasn’t financially dependent on Bones. Once her ex was gone, she could have packed up and left, but she really loves Bones.

very good

Blythe was tricked by a man into loving her, and now she is pregnant. He had beat her, he got drunk, she left, car ran out of gas. Blythe started walking, heard music blaring and lights, stumbled into an MC club. Right into Bones, with his help, her and baby will be fine. I highly recommend this.

2.5⭐️ This was a bit of a slow start for me, very difficult to keep my attention. I almost DNF a few times but pushed through. So glad I did. I enjoyed Blythe and Bones’s story once it got rolling. I think the problem was the writing style not the actual storyline. It is hit/miss with this author.

It's never too late to fund real love

If you can open yourself up to trust another person, then love can find a way to enter your heart and life. Great love story with a somewhat triggering start (for the lady). Definitely a happily ever after conclusion.
