A dying prophecy. A bloodthirsty queen. And a bond that could unravel it all.
A prophecy spoke of Queen Loreil’s downfall—and ever since, Solana’s people have been hunted like animals. The Queen rules through fear and fire, silencing anyone who might threaten her crown. And Solana? She’s the spark the Queen wants snuffed out most of all.
Captured by Roman, the Queen’s ruthless enforcer and only son, Solana becomes more than a prisoner. She’s a weapon. A temptation. A threat.
Roman was raised to obey. To kill without question. But Solana makes him hesitate. She makes him feel. And in a court built on lies and cruelty, feeling is a dangerous thing.
As desire tangles with duty, and rebellion brews in the shadows, Solana and Roman must destroy each other or burn the world down together.
Darkly romantic, gripping, and brimming with betrayal—perfect for fans of villainous royalty, doomed prophecies, and love that cuts deep.
Some people balance life with yoga and green smoothies. Myranda does it with school pickup lines, candles, and just enough coffee to power through another steamy chapter.
A mom of five and an author for about the same number of years, Myranda spends her days teaching her kids survival skills and her nights wrangling possessive alien warlords, broody shifters, and dangerously irresistible men who love just a little too hard.
When she's not writing, you can probably find her crafting with her kids, scrolling Zillow for houses she'll never be able to afford, or “just browsing” IKEA (we all know how that ends).
Follow her if spicy romance or chaotic mom life speaks to you because her books will always speak for themselves.
I haven't read many wolf shifters books, but I enjoyed this one. After the murder of the king and the assassin is declared to be an elf, a war begins between elves and werewolves. For years, werewolves have hunted and slain elves to near extinction. Solana (FMC) is an elf and Roman (MMC) is a werewolf as well as the Queen's son...they're also mates. With that, this definitely has some enemies to lovers vibes. There were parts of the story that I wish could've been expanded on more and parts that seemed a little rushed. But overall I enjoyed this read, the FMC wasn't irritating (always a plus!) and the MMC was protective.
* Fated Mates * Enemies to lovers (lighter though) * Elves, werewolf shifters and magic * Dual POV * HEA * Death/murder * Lies and betrayal
