Despite what Dallas Johnson might think, I’m not doing any of this for the fans. I don’t care about their monthly subscription fees or the tips they leave when they think I’ve been a good boy. The only reason I signed up for this stupid site is because I knew it would drive Daddy crazy with jealousy. That’s why I wait until I know he’s clocked out for lunch before starting my daily live streams.
Every day, Daddy checks my online status. Every day, he calls to scold me, demanding I deactivate my account, knowing exactly what I’m doing on the other end of the phone. Every day, he hears me whine and whimper, coming out of my skin as he guides me toward glory with his gentle tone. He’s been the soundtrack to my solo sessions for months, and now my mother is trying to take that away. Admittedly, I’m trying to break up their marriage, so I understand the resentment, I simply don’t care.
Somewhere along the way, she must’ve lost her meth-fueled mind, because she seems to believe that ousting me from the family vacation we’ve been planning for months will somehow reignite a spark in their marriage that never existed. We both know where Daddy’s loyalty lies, and if she thinks I’m going down without a fight, she’s clearly underestimated her opponent.
I’m the trailer park twink, and I’m not afraid of getting a little trashy.
The Trailer Park Twink is a slightly unhinged, positively deranged RomCom. It is part of the Pathfinders Lake multi-author series that features forbidden romance. Each book can be read as a standalone but is better enjoyed as a series.
Lance Lansdale is the author of F**k, Marry, Kill Me, Daddy. He's a sucker for gay romance and devours far more audiobooks than one ought. Texan by blood (Louisianan by circumstance), his stories take place in small towns with quirky side characters.
You can email him at lancelansdalewrites@gmail.com or visit his website at www.lancelansdale.com
This book is both very fun and equally ridiculous. A lot of funny situations but also so much ridiculous whining. Don’t need to read it again and don’t think I recommend. Not really anyway 🤣 Or maybe for anyone who is into (sort of) taboo, loves toxic shit mothers and way, way over the top characters.
Btw: who is the guy on the cover? It’s not the twink! And definitely not his daddy 🤣🤣🤣
Lance is one of those authors when you pick up one of his stories. You know who is writing it. He is unapologetically open about writing stabby twinks who will do anything and everything to have the daddy of their dreams. Austin has been in love with Dallas since he was a teen. It's too bad Dallas didn't see it and ended up marrying his mama instead. Despite all that, the two build a relationship that no one can break. When Dallas sees the light of the truth, he gets Austin out of that situation. The side characters were great in their own version of support. Yes, they may be chaotic, but dang, do they love big and hard. Their trip to Pathfinders Lake is the beginning of their time together, leading to making the right choices of having something more and bigger for their future. Get ready for a wild ride from start to finish of this unapologetic boy getting his daddy.
I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. My review is solely based on my thoughts and opinions.
This is a step-dad x step-son age gap taboo romance, featuring Austin and Dallas, and is book four in the Pathfinders Lake multi-author series.
Austin’s only reason for joining a subscription site is to make his step-dad jealous, turning their daily scolding calls into something far more intimate. When his mother tries to ban him from the family vacation to save her marriage, he’s ready to fight dirty to get Dallas.
You need to read this book and then you too can fully appreciate the brilliant writing style of Lance Lansdale. This book is seriously funny, chaotic and so so so unhinged. I FRIGGING LOVED IT. So many times I had to reread chapters to fully absorb it. Austin and Dallas have this amazing connection, even though Dallas is married to Austin’s mum. I loved how oblivious Dallas was to his own feelings and so much happens in this book.
The secondary characters are a group of mixed-up misfits - they are all codependent and have no boundaries - IT’S THE BEST.
Things to expect in this book are: Book 4 Multi-author series MM taboo romance Step-dad x step-son Size difference Age gap Camboy Hurt / Comfort POS mother Road trip Bi awakening Spicy times Self sucking Daddy/good boy Matching tattoos Found family Seriously hilarious HEA
Another brilliant, laugh out loud romcom from Lance! Learn from my mistakes people, don't drink and read with this one because you never know when the next laugh is coming and there are only so many times you can spit out your drink before people start looking at you funny.
Austin is hilariously sassy and unhinged just like all the best Murder Daddy MCs, but he is also so sweet with his Daddy and I loved his whole personality. He is so gone for Dallas and will do anything to get him - with incredibly spicy consequences!
Dallas is an absolute marshmallow of a man, truly a cinnamon roll Daddy. Until someone looks at his boy, that is, and then his dramatic, slightly murdery side emerges! He is like Brody from Murder Daddies 1 and Nate from Murder Daddies 3 rolled into one and I adored him. Austin is his whole world and he is happiest when he is making his boy happy. Which may or may not involve a lot of Os.
As always there is an amazing cast of side characters so expect all the banter and be ready to hope for each of them to get their HEA too in future books! Not that I'm hinting that I need that or anything.
The spice is top quality, and you can expect to enjoy camboy hijinks and self sucking shenanigans as this stepfather and son duo find their footing together. Plus, get ready for some dirty talk that will set the page alight!
I thoroughly recommend this to anyone who loves Daddy kink, taboo, romcoms, or touch them and die vibes. I can't wait to get this book on my shelves!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I would like to thank the author for providing me with an advanced reader copy of this amazing book!
I honestly feel like a broken record every time I do a review for one of Lances’s books, because I am always gushing about how much I loved it.. if you were expecting anything different this time you would be highly mistaken.
This was such a fun read. Austin, much like all of the other deliciously chaotic twinks Lance has brought to life is absolutely and shamelessly unhinged and I cannot love him more for it. Austin’s story has long been awaited by anyone who has heard him mentioned in previous books by Lance, we even got to get a glimpse of him and Dallas and the end of Slay the Gay Away. Austin has not had an easy life, his mother had made sure of that, this is further cemented by her marrying the man he has been obsessing over for years. Dallas has adored Austin for years, while he believe his love for him is familial anyone with properly working eyes would be able to see a mile away that the Love he has for is boy runs a lot more deeper than he is willing to consider. The way that Dallas responds to Austin’s outlandish behaviors and goes out of his way to take care of him.. in more ways than one is enduring.
Don’t want to make to many comments about all the shenanigans these two get into but I can say that they are on brand for the kind of chaos I have come to expect from this author. The way that Lance is able to tackle a serious situation like Austins home life and put into a a sweet and enduring story without making a joke of the situation itself never ceases to amaze me.
The side characters in this one are phenomenal Bubba and Ezra on their own are fun to read but when they are together in one another orbit they are downright comical. I cannot wait to see what is in store for those two in the future.
While all of Lance’s books can be read as standalone characters from pervious books are always mentions or gets cameras of some sort. Every single one oof his books are worth reading, this one included.
Another hit for Lance with the trailer park twink, loved Aussie and his clear obsession with Dallas, their relationship is completely codependent and I am here for it. The progression of their relationship was spicy and hilarious, soo much heat and possessiveness that you can always expect from a Lance Lansdale book
A i złote myśli o tolerancji i akceptacji wypowiadane w ten sposób, brzmiały raczej prześmiewczo niż szczerze.
I nadal się zastanawiam, czy dać dwie, czy jedną gwiazdkę. Jeszcze o tym pomyślę, a na razie usunę z czytnika inne książki tego autora, bo nie chcę nic więcej od niego czytać.
This book was cute, sweet and angsty when it came to a couple characters! Our main characters were good together and worked through their own issues! The friend group was off the charts with their own comedy and drama!
I really enjoyed how it all worked out for our MMC’s!
(I received an advanced reader copy of this book, it did not affect my opinion of this story)
What.... did I just read? This was... something. Not a good something. It started off decent. I'll give it that. But as it continued, it just got worse. I got second-hand embarrassment reading this. Plus, what was that prison scene? I gave this 3 stars because I did finish it. Otherwise, I dont even know if I'd give it a 1 star. And that epilogue? I dont even know what to say about that. It was just cringe and weird, and no, thank you.
There was a lot of spice. More than a lot. So, there's that.
Anything Lance Lansdale writes is an automatic read for me. He's the most unhinged genius, and I mean that in every good way possible. His books never fail to pull me right in, make me laugh uncontrollably, and fill my heart with a beautiful message.
The Trailer Park Twink is Lance's newest addition to the shenanigans and it's chaotic perfection. Sweet Austin has had it bad for his step daddy, Dallas, long before Dallas ever knew he existed. But never fear, Aussie has found all sorts of ways to make sure he's the main character in Dallas' heart (even when D-bag didn't realize what all those feelings meant).
As always there is all manner of queer representation floating throughout this story like it's been shot out of a glitter canon. Add an extra shot of found family who stick with our MMCs like glitter in unexpected crevices, and Lance has created another winning story!
If you are ready to jump into a spicy, zany love story filled with naughty, sweet, fun, get this book!
Lance Lansdale's stories always put me in the best mood! If I need a break from reality, I always know I can jump into one of his stories and be submersed in pure unhinged shenanigans!! His characters are always guaranteed to be over the top, and I love it! Dallas and Austin are stepfather/stepson who have always had a relationship that borders a bit on the taboo. Dallas will do anything for his "son" and Austin will do anything to gain his attention - even set up an Only Fans for his "Daddy". I really enjoyed their story, I am a sucker for possessive men, and Dallas is over the top possessive of Austin, but somehow it comes across super sweet. Like always, you will see the story veer into the usual antics seen in Lance's stories but I absolutely love it, his writing is so unique in this way, I feel like we rarely see much humor in our MM love stories. Whether you're a fan of Lance or just delving into his brand of story writing, I think anyone will absolutely love this story!
Lance is back with his typical unhinged signature and debauchery with Trailer Park Twink. The focus is on Austin who has a crush on his step father Dallas and the trailer park they live in. There’s tons of hilarious and outlandish situations which bring for a fun and entertaining read. With all the craziness there’s also heart here which is refreshing and grounds the story. Listen, if there’s anything I’ve learned, and welcomed, is that books are great escapes and you just want to turn off your brain sometimes, this is one of them. Check this out for a fun taboo romance with dual pov, size difference and spice. Enjoy the ride!
"I don't have an excuse for my present-day behavior, other than I'm hopelessly, madly, recklessly in love with my stepfather, and I've lost every ounce of self-control."
"If anything, it makes my heart beat faster, because this man--this small, waifish little guy--is mine. My son. My buddy. My heart."
"All my life, it's like I've been living in a world without color. Then I found out how you felt, and I let myself feel it, and there are all these new shades I've never seen before."
This is my first book by this author and I loved it so much. This was a wild, unhinged, forbidden, and hilarious story. The banter, interactions, and inner monologues had me cackling a lot 🤣🤣. The spice in this was super hot and kinky 🔥🔥🔥. I loved the side characters. Everyone in this story just felt so wild and nuts in the best way.
This story follows Austin and Dallas. Austin has been secretly in love with his stepfather Dallas for many, many years. He would stalk him before he was even with his mother. Dallas considered Austin his son and would do anything for him. Those feelings changed for him once Austin was more vocal and physical with his seduction 🤣😏. He made an OF just to get his attention 😉. I despised the mother so much. She was such a horrible woman and mother. I wish more bad things came her way ugh. The jail scene was completely wild and out there. The ending of this was great. Seeing everyone move with them was priceless.
I loved the relationship between Dallas and Austin. It was very loving, sweet, intense, and kinky. The spice was delicious 🥵💦. I love how easily Dallas accepted his new love for his boy. The Daddy kink in this was everything and written so well 🔥🥵. I was so happy to finally see Austin get his Daddy and a happy ending! I'm excited for the next book and characters. Ezra seems just as unhinged and crazy as Austin 🤣. I can't wait for this love triangle to take a turn 😏.
Thank you, Lance for my copy of The Trailer Park Twink. This is part of multi author series, A Pathfinders Lake Romance. The Trailer Park Twink focuses on Austin & his Stepfather Dallas. We were first introduced to them as part of Lance's Murd3r Daddy series. Though complete unhinged like most of Lance's books at the heart is a story of love and two men finding their HEA.
💖 StepDad 💖 Stepson 💖 Daddy 💖 Taboo 💖 Camboy 💖 Daddies flexible party trick 🍆💦 💖 Age Gap 💖 Matching Tattoos 💖 Dual POV 💖 Epilogue
ARC Review! 4.5/5⭐️ Like the rest of Lance’s book this was complete chaos and I had so much fun reading it. Without giving too much away, Austin is hopelessly in love with his stepfather Dallas. Unfortunately nothing can happen because is Dallas is married to Austin’s dreadful drug addicted step mother. Throughout the story we see how Austin and Dallas will stop at nothing to have their shot at love. As someone who loves the pure chaos of Lance’s books, this book certainly delivered what I was hoping for. Thank you to Lance and his team for the advanced copy! It comes out 08/15! Order now!
In Lance's customary style, this book displays his type of humor and is a perfect reflection of his characters personalities. Austin and his step-daddy Dallas live in the trailer park with his addict Mom who is cruel to Austin. Austin saw his step-daddy first and called dibs but his mom stole his man. Austin is determined to get his man, even if it takes years - which it does. Dallas is pretty naive and not the sharpest tool but he does love Austin, realizing it's not just fatherly. It's a deeply, devoted, different love that any man could see, every man can see.
Every time I read a book by this author, I spend a lot of it wondering just what I'm reading - it's completely unhinged and over the top - and entertaining right to the end. In any other story, the relationships between the characters wouldn't work like they do here. Austin and Dallas were clearly made for each other. Great addition to an interesting series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and am happy to leave a voluntary review.
Lance crafts another off the wall, laugh out loud funny, page turning, masterpiece steeped in scorching spice and dirty talk.
Austin is my new favorite delulu twink. And Dallas is the daddy we need but don’t deserve. Pair them with a plot just crazy enough to keep you locked in, mouths so filthy you’ll need a cold shower, and an addictive cast of support characters that bring a new meaning to found family, abd you have The Trailer Park Twink.
I couldn’t put it down. The smile never left my face, and I’ll never look at IHOP the same way again.
What you’ll get: •Stepdad/Stepson •Pining •Age Gap •Size difference •Camming (for Daddy) •Daddy kink •Pseudo-c*st kink •Bi Awakening •IHOP Slander •Alt uses for SPF 50 •Mild Stalking •Found Family •Addicted/Narcissistic Mother •Dirty Talk •Voyeurism •Auto-F•llatio
I went into this knowing it was supposed to be taboo, and I needed something over the top to get me out of my reading slump, so I said fuck it, why not. For 70% of the book it was actually a decent story, well executed and I found myself enjoying it, thinking I would read it again. I really liked it and it’s definitely not the wildest thing I’ve ever read. There have been far worse, even more depraved books.
But the last 30% out of nowhere devolves into an absolutely insane drug-fueled fever dream. Like I was making unbelievable faces as I was reading because I genuinely did not know where the hell any of it was coming from. It completely changed the tone of the book and the story and I finished it thinking “what in the hell shit fuck was that.” I am just one big question mark. I don’t understand. The sheer level of ridiculousness is so completely out of control. You could not predict what happens in the last 30%. Insanely OTT.
But am I gonna read more stuff by Lance Lansdale? Yeah probably.
Although this multi-author series is set against the backdrop of Pathfinder's Lake they all stand alone, characters do not crossover in any meaningful way.
This is a really difficult book to rate and review if I'm being honest. I mean I kinda loved it, it's super fun and easy to read, but it is OTT unhinged and toxic for sure. Start with the content warning and then proceed with caution would be my best advise. If it sounds like a good time you're probably going to enjoy yourself but feel some kind of way about that fact, lol. If it sounds, 'meh', then maybe skip this one. I've read other books by the author so I kind of knew what I was getting into.
Two things off the bat: - This has a plethora of zany side characters who are likely going to star in their own stories at some point and I kind of hate it when author's set up future books in this manner, especially as part of a multi-author series but that's definitely a preference I have. On the plus side they are all as demented as the MCs so you feel almost like you've slipped into an alternate universe where people act like lunatics. - Speaking of multi-author series this doesn't do the best job of executing the elements of the series. Yes, it's naughty taboo for days, but that a tenuous connection. Hardly any time is spent at Pathfinder's Lake, and the legend doesn't even get page time. It felt a little like it was shoehorned in and I'm at a bit of a loss as to why the author joined in if they didn't want to write a book in line with the rest of the books.
Despite all that I had a wonderful fuckin' time reading this story. I loved every deranged moment. The mom is just awful so if you're someone who's a little hung up on that aspect of the synopsis don't worry, you'll change your tune here real quick.
I adored how obsessive Austin was over Dallas and how Dallas returned his feelings in his own way before he was even aware of his feelings. The whole situation was unbelievably absurd, and just keeps getting zanier and zanier until you're forced to wonder if maybe someone slipped something into your drink, or you've fallen into a fever dream, but that's part of the fun. I highlighted so many passages that just tickled me silly. This is a bit on the longer side, but I didn't feel the page count at all.
I was given an ARC and voluntarily wrote an honest review.
This book has that Lance Lansdale unhingedness about it but it is sweeter than the Murder Daddy Series. I knew I needed to know more about Austin after him being mentioned in Tatum and the Ben’s books. And boy this one did not disappoint. I would say that you don’t necessarily need to read the Murder Daddy series to understand this book. But to get the full picture maybe you should, also those stories are hilarious and such an escape from the world we live in.
Austin has been in love with his stepfather Dallas FOREVER and he is going to try his best to steal him from his mother. The way that he is trying to do this is by starting an OF and luring Dallas to follow him and make him acknowledge his attraction to his ”son”.
The way this story takes you on a wild ride is everything you would expect when reading a book from Lance and I just enjoy the ride every time.
There is a break of the so-called fourth wall (iykyk) and the way that made me snort giggle was just fantastic. Let me just tell you I felt seen…
I just know that this is the start of something new and fun, especially if the Core Four all get stories and their own HEA.
Seriously, where has Lance been all my life? Was this ridiculous? Yes. Was it deranged? Yes. Did it test the bounds of realism in the most delicious of ways? Also yes. And was I here for every unhinged second of it? Yes 🥰🫣. I'm still not sure what it says about me but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth 😉.
Dallas & Austin's story is a keeper for sure! I'm sure we've all been wondering about Austin since we've heard about him in Tatum's story and the time has come to learn.. and learn we shall 😈... Learn how absolutely obsessed and deranged he is for his Daddy anyway.
I was having trouble picking a book to read, even though I'm spoiled for choice sometimes the choice is hard okay?! Well this one hit the moodreading appetite's spot perfectly and I am in love! I can't wait to learn more about the Core Four and their own unhinged love lives 😈. If you've read Lance before you know what to expect... Which is to not expect anything because he'll take your ideas, flip them on the head, make you wonder WTF the entire time and yet you'll THANK him for it 😍🥵.
