Briar never wanted to return home. Not to the ghosts of her past, not to the truth she’s spent years burying. But life doesn’t always allow for avoidance, and now she stands at the threshold of everything she ran from—her stepbrothers, Teddy and Corey.

They’ve always been protective, always territorial. But this time, it’s not about them—it’s about her. About the truth she’s long denied. About the feelings she swore were unnatural, impossible.

Now, in the place where everything began, Briar has only one choice; face the past, or let it consume her.

Because some secrets refuse to stay buried.

If taboo stories are your guilty pleasure, this one deserves a spot on your shelf. The way it shifts between past and present builds such a full, layered understanding of the characters. And the spice? Just enough to heat things up while still letting the story shine.

If you like taboo stories (twin stepbrothers) this is a good, easy to follow read. It’s not very long, making it perfect for when you need a quick break between longer books. Corey is definitely a standout for me! He notices everything, he’s always watching!

This was definitely an in-between read for me. Not too long, spicy, dark, and the kind of guilty pleasure you can tear through without overthinking. After a long, drawn-out read before this, Run Rabbit felt like chaotic relief.

It’s a taboo romance full of tension, obsession, protectiveness, and a love triangle that gets… intense. There’s spice, violence, possessiveness, and a whole lot of “you are mine” energy.

That said, the writing could’ve used more editing. Missing punctuation, weird phrasing, and even missing words here and there really made me stop more than once to figure out what was being said. It didn’t ruin it, but it definitely took me out of the story at times.

Emotionally, I was a little thrown by the shift near the end. I was rooting for one connection the entire way through, so the sudden change in direction felt off. But, and this is a big but, I know there’s going to be a second book, so maybe I’ll still get my way. 😉

FMC- Bree aka Briar
MMC'S - Teddy aka Rexy
Corey
Nick aka a$$hole
Nick is Bree's fiancé and here what we know 20% into the book, he's a extremely abusive person, mentally and physically, especially when he drinks, and he loves to make comments and jokes about Bree getting fat.
Bree is from the UK and her family is still living in the UK and they still haven't met Nick, so when Bree calls home with the news of her fresh engagement her mum is ecstatic and invites Bree and Nick to come stay! Bree hasn't been home since she moved out at 19 and jumps at the idea! the thing is? her step brothers Corey and Rexy actually have no idea about Nick!

Teddy is loud, mean and brooding, not to mention beautifully obsessive and I also suspect they f*ck!
Corey has always been quiet, brooding and has come across to Bree like he hates her, they've never really spoken and he seems too dark to actually like anyone. he was also made mute due to a accident that happened after Bree left for the US

COREY YOU SWEET BOY! him and Bree have never gotten along and when he see's her hurt he holds her like he's been needing to his whole life

flash back ages 17 and 18
OMG OMG OMG
SO Teddy and Bree are about to bone for the first time at Rexy's birthday party, its a heated rush and they go into any room they can find, they end up going into Coreys room! they do the deed and she bleeds a little. And after the party Corey goes back to his room when he can sense that something has changed, he goes to his bed, that's where he sees the blood on the sheets! he checks his CCTV an see's what happened. YOULL NEVER GUESS WHAT HE DOES
HE LICKS HER BLOOD OFF OF HIS SHEETS! we thought he HATED Bree! WRONG he's been obsessed with her since they met and he has been jealous of her and Rexy's relationship!

this is a beautifully timed and well written taboo dark romance, it has the perfect amount of spice and plot! what I think I also liked was the fact that the abusive fiancé stayed in the book and wasn't a short mention into the story like with most books, he was always in the back ground and helped keep the story intact.
safe to say I cant wait to read book 2!

Run Rabbit absolutely put me through the wringer emotionally.

Briar’s longing for her stepbrothers is impossible not to feel, and the hurt she endures at the hands of her fiancé was genuinely gut-wrenching. Some of those scenes broke my heart. But when Briar finally collides with her “big brothers”? Whew. 🥵 Absolutely feral, scorching hot, and packed full of that delicious forbidden step-sibling tension.

I actually really liked Briar’s mum at first, but once everything came out? She became almost unbearable for me.

Teddy completely stole scenes with his cheeky, playful, flirty personality. Then there’s Corey—the complete opposite. Moody. Silent. Always watching. But once you get inside his head? Ugh. You can’t help but love him. He’s the definition of “touch her and die.” Protective, obsessive, and completely devoted. Plus… he’s pierced. 👀

And that pig scene? My stomach was twisting the entire time.

Now I’m sitting here staring at the ending thinking… surely that’s not it. It feels over, but we all know it isn’t.

Book two, I’m coming for you. 🐇🖤

Run Rabbit had all the ingredients to be a great romantic suspense, but it never quite reached the level of intensity I was hoping for. The romance was the highlight of the book. Corey completely stole the show with his quiet devotion, protectiveness, and the slow build of his relationship with Briar. Their chemistry was believable, heartfelt, and definitely brought the spice.

Where the story fell short for me was the thriller aspect. There was a constant build-up surrounding Nick and what he was capable of, and while the attempted kidnapping was by far the most suspenseful part of the book, the climax felt surprisingly quick and underwhelming. After all the tension, the resolution came and went without the emotional impact or fallout I was expecting.

I still enjoyed the characters enough to continue the series. The ending set up an interesting conflict for book two, and I’m curious to see where the story goes from here.

Run Rabbit was exactly the kind of dark, addictive read I needed. It was fast-paced, full of tension, and packed with obsession, possessiveness, and plenty of spice. The taboo romance and chaotic love triangle kept me turning the pages, making it an easy book to binge in just a couple of sittings.
While I had a lot of fun with the story, the writing could have benefited from another round of editing. There were a few missing words, punctuation issues, and awkwardly phrased sentences that occasionally pulled me out of the moment.
The ending also caught me off guard. I found myself rooting for one relationship throughout the book, so the shift at the end wasn't quite what I was hoping for. That said, knowing there's another book on the way has me curious to see where these characters end up.
Overall, if you're looking for a quick, spicy, dark romance with obsessive characters, intense chemistry, and plenty of drama, this is well worth picking up. I'll definitely be reading the sequel.

SPOILER, cause I’m annoyed.

Definitely taboo. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it wasn’t really that lol. It got dark so fast. The 🌶️ scenes were good but would it kill them to say “step”? Lmao.

But honestly I got annoyed of the story/plot. First she’s in love with one step brother and then all of the sudden she’s also in love with the other? After she keeps saying oh he hates me, I never felt this way about him, he’s never noticed me before and I never really noticed him. And then she’s having the best sex of her life with him? ALL WHILE, that first brother she messed with is in an induced coma?! Like WHAT. How’d we get there?! Like I get how because of how the story unfolds but still 😂 And then there’s a side story of them committing a murder lmao. Also a lot of the story was them just doing farm chores which you really could just skim over. I did not think this book would go this way. 😂

Briar FMC
Corey MMC
Teddy MMC

step sibling taboo romance (boys are twins)

This was fabulous! And that bonus chapter I got to read! Sensational.

I love a mute... I love knowing we get to read their inner thoughts and the way they pine over their FMC. And Corey was the exact kind of mute I love.
He's watched her for years! Making sure she is safe when she lived at home. He wanted to leave when she left because he didn't know if he could live without her.

What I loved was that this wasn't but a spicy step-sibling story. There was a very good plot!! And the next book I really hope the story continues... his mother, his family? We've been told his family are influential and not to be messed with so I hope book 2 shows that!

I love everything by Eleanore Crowe at the moment, she can do no wrong.

Annnnnnnd she's done it again! This author has made me fall in love with not one mute MMC but now two! (Head to 'Beneath the faultlines' for that one!) And now I need more! I loved this story and the characters. The two MMC's were so different from one another and had such a different dynamic with the FMC which I loved and I ATE UP!

I felt Corey's tortured soul, Teddy's obsession with Briar, and Briar's confliction. I love how we got flashbacks of how this started with so sweet and tenderly with Teddy and Briar and the quiet ways Corey protected her and how his secret love for her never dissolved over the years and the space between them. It was lovely watching them come back together, only for twist and turns to come and punch me in the gut!

Devoured this at a rate of knots and flew into the second book because I just had to know what happens next, and boy it did not disappoint!

This was a short, easy read with a very taboo romance. I went into it expecting pure smut, so I was pleasantly surprised that it actually had a plot—and one that was fairly intriguing. The chemistry between the main characters was solid, and I appreciated that the author gave them distinct personalities and voices.

That said, the taboo romance wasn’t really for me, and a few plot points didn’t feel entirely logical. The writing was all over the place and it sometimes felt like we jumped from one scene to next instead of being a smooth narrative. I also noticed several editing issues, including grammatical and punctuation errors, which made the book feel more like a Wattpad story than a professionally published novel.

Still, for what it set out to be, it was entertaining enough with strong characters for me to be interested in the next installment.

This authour is smashing i highly reccomend all her books.

This book is well written the plot clicks beautifully and its not over done with spice i know some people like it with a little spice but not to much this one has spice where it fits into the destroy not just aimless smut

I am curious to see if there is another book to this one though as its been left with a semi hang 🤣 so its open to either ending where it did orrrrrr having at least one more book.

Briar vsits back home after becoming engaged amazing news to share with her mum and family.
But then something heartbreaking happenes which will trigger the next events which are brutal to start with.
Will briar survive the things she's being forced to hide or will her family help her survive.

Dark, sexy, and spicy! This book had me hooked from start to finish. I adored both MMCs — their dynamic was everything 🥵 The chemistry, the tension, the push and pull… pure perfection.

I loved the flashbacks too! Getting those glimpses of them growing up together and seeing how their relationship evolved made the story hit even harder. Such a beautiful touch.

And that ending?! My jaw was on the floor 😭 Diving into book 2 immediately because I have to know what happens next!!

Action packed from the get go!

This book really got my attention straightaway, not every book has the ability to do this. These twins are so different from eachother but both are smokin hot 🔥 🥵. I hate Briars boyfriend with a passion, that's how much this story got to me.

I'm actually needing the next one to see how this story turns out lol.

Eleanor has a magic way for words, the emotions that pulled out are amazing.

When I say I could not put this book down, I mean I was sneaking chapters every chance I got! I. Ate. It. Up. If you love morally gray, obsessive vibes with that forbidden edge that makes you question your sanity a little… this is your book.

It’s dark, it’s messy, it’s addictive… and I am officially obsessed. That ending had me immediately reaching for book two because there is no way I’m emotionally recovering without it.

Solid 6/10⭐️ not awful and was fun to read but definitely would have been a different story if she communicated anything to anyone at any point in the book. The smut was super fun cuz it was pretty taboo. I read the KU version of this so take with it what you will, but there were a TON of grammatical errors that made me pause and have to reread before figuring out it wasn’t my dyslexia messing me up. I’ll recommend this to a friend who’s an only child lol

If taboo stories (twin step brothers) with an attitude and lovely amounts of spice is your thing, then pick this up.
It's an easy read that kept me hooked.
Love the aspect of past being explained with occasional jumps back in time for all the main characters. Easy to follow with the right amount of possessiveness / heat / danger. Finish this and jump straight into second book, you won't be disappointed.

The writing style isn’t all that good. A lot of not needed inner monologue. Kinda explains the obvious. Will read the second one though to tie up all the loose ends. Does teddy wake up? What do the parents say? Are they going to stay on the farm? Does she find out he’s been stalking her? Do the cops or family come after them bc they killed Nick ?

This was giving credence x where’s Molly vibes. I loved both brothers and did not see the plot twist near the end. The plot is great and the spice was perfect. Not too much but just enough that it fit the storyline. I’m so excited to start book 2! Also Corey is such a loveable little psycho, I love him so much!

This story was not written very well- very choppy and incomplete. Decent dynamic and pull between Briar, Teddy, and Corey. But not enough to make me want to read the second part of this duet. Some spice but nothing extraordinary.

The first few chapters were great but overall I expected more.
The writing was v poor, the characters were incredibly flat and the spicy tension just wasn’t there.
Ended up skimming the last 50 pages because I just stopped caring :’)

Loved it. Flew through this book.

Step brother(s😏) really action packed, fast paced. They get trapped in the trailer/car together so cute. He killed her ex for her and became mute while his twin brother dated her. Not sure if it’s a why choose yet cause apparently he doesn’t share, we’ll see!!
