This book includes two monographs and several articles by the Russian historian A.I. Fursov, a specialist in soviet political history. He is the member of the Izborsk club, an organization of Russian experts in foreign and national policy, founded in 2012 and led by Russian writer and politician Aleksandr Prokhanov. One of the monographs is about his teacher, historian V.V. Krylov (1934-1989). The second monograph is about the actual issues of soviet political history and the position of Russia in the world.
