Well, here we are, the final battle for Three Rivers has finally arrived, the moment we’ve all been waiting for is here and boy oh boy let me tell you is this book explosive.
And this isn’t only a fight for the Three Rivers Pack, this is a fight we find that includes the Three Rivers Pack, Bridgetown wolves, and the entire supernatural world is on but no one is ready for how tricky dealing with Kane and his crony Simon turned out to be.
I absolutely loved how we were reunited with all the characters we fell in love with from all the previous books. And what’s more we get this mind-blowing information about how our favorite characters have changed since we last saw them and more than that how everyone looks at the war that Kane has started.
We see that Annabella’s witch magic together with her shifter side has shocked everyone as it’s stronger than anyone could have ever predicted, and with Esme showing her how to control it, harness it, and unleash it, this itself it is a complete game changer for Annabella and the Three Rivers pack.
And we can’t forget about all the heat between Sam and Annabella! The heat, the spice, the tension, the angst, the chemistry, it’s all there between these two characters. Even in the midst of all the turmoil, you can still feel it all between these two.
And when the war is over and all the characters who have survived return back to their pack lands and back to their homes, we find that this series and Sam and Annabella get their HEAs. But more than that this series gets the stunning and fantastic ending that it deserved. And I loved that while The Shifters of Three Rivers has been given the ending that it deserved, Kira gave us the and herself the opening to a whole new spin off series if she so chooses to write it.
If you’re looking for a well written, engaging series, with engaging well written and developed characters who grow and continue to develop through the entire series then The Shifters of Three Rivers is the series that you’ve been searching for. And while there are trilogies, duets, and even standalones, within this overall saga that you could read on your own, I really suggest that you read the entire saga from book 1 to book 7 and read the novella between books 5 and 6.
If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. This was such a well written and well-developed book that I just devoured and I can’t wait to re-read the entire saga on audible. I know that you’re going to love this saga as much as I did.

BringIng the battle home
Whew what a ride. Sam and Anabella definitely have a lot of ups and downs. Secrets, truths, danger, and adrenaline weave together with family, love and hope to bring a finale worthy of Three Rivers.
"Part of me wanted to reach for that connection, let it soothe us both. The rest of me wanted to set him on fire and toast marshmallows over the wreckage."
These two had me laughing and crying through the story. So many highs and lows. However, they found their peace with each other. Though it wasn't without it's challenges.
"Ellie tilted her head. 'You should forgive him. He feels really loud about you.' I blinked. 'What do you mean, loud?' She presses a palm to her own chest. 'He's all bright in here when he looks at you, like sunshine.' She wrinkled her nose. 'It's hard not to hear it.'"
They are a fantastic accompaniment to each other but also the the Three Rivers pack. They tend to jump into every challenge with a reckless abandon that gets things done but definitely makes those around them age.
"Because let's be honest, you," he pointed at Sam, " have the self-preservation instincts of a drunk raccoon in a fireworks factory, and you" the finger swung to me, "are somehow worse. Together? You're a catastrophe in matching jackets. You need adult supervision. Specifically, mine." (Gideon)
That final stand had me rolling through all the sang emotions every few pages. This was the perfect final stand for this series. It took a lot of planning, struggling, and pure hope to take on this enemy.
I loved seeing all of the Shaw brothers back together. It was beautiful watching their new families all fitting together. This is a fantastic pack and anyone in it is lucky.

What can I say about this book??? Actually, what CAN’T I say about this book??? Resurgent Mate is absolutely amazing!!! It’s intense, packed with action, twists that expose betrayal that I didn’t see coming. The trials that Sam and Annabella have to face along with what’s left of their crew are painful, but they have each other. The enemies they face are strong, powerful, and intelligent.
The way that this book calls all of Three Rivers together; human, shifter, and witch alike, is the perfect finale to the series. Kira keeps you on the edge of your seat with action, tugs at your heart in ways that I’m very glad that she pieced me back together, and makes you whole again with an ending you can’t wait to get to.
It is bittersweet for me to read this finale as it marks the end of the Three Rivers series run, but I couldn’t be happier to have been a part of it. I’m looking forward to future books and friendships to come with this amazing author’s works to come.

I love this whole series, this is the second book of Sam and Isabella's story. Sam wakes up from being out for a few days, and realizes Isabella's gone & begins to plan a prison break ..but in doing so..He will need to contact his brothers. This book is full of high stakes action seriously everytime I read Isabella's pov I was sooooo worried for her in the beginning in the prison. The prison is designed specifically to suppress supernatural abilities. That make it impossible for anyone to escape. What I enjoyed most is that it balances romance with an exciting, action-packed plot. That way I'm sucked into every page wanting to know what happens next. it felt like they were winning one minute then ur thinking everyone's going to die and it's a hopeless battle. but no worries it's a happy ending. just a very epic battle at the end some characters do die. I loved that his brothers and friend Gideon my favorite side character stuck by his side even though it was a suicidal mission. loved reading about Mia and Ryan's twins, and Sofia and Derek. I'm looking forward to what this author writes next 😁

Im beginning to think that rhe name Shaw is actually a synonym for challenging, hesdheaded, moron, who is always getting into trouble and creating conflicts around the pack and territories around. I am sad that this is the conclusion as I loved this series. Triggers include violence, death, kidnapping, and magic brain torture/manipulation.
Want that reason to read it. Here's my favorite quote

Typically, the saying of "waiting for the other shoe to drop" is what you anticipate. Well, only have 2 feet. (I know, you don't think it in the literal sense) But, here you are waiting for at least the 3rd shoe to drop!
Opposition group (you have to figure out who really is) , traitors, at least 3 different packs (each integrated with shifters, witch's,half breeds and humans), and most of all bonded

I loved this book.
What a way to end the series. I loved being back with this pack.
As per usual I was hooked from beginning to end and I couldn’t put it down.
I do feel Kira left it open for the possibility of there being more books in the future. Which I secretly hope there is.

This is book 7 and the one we’ve been waiting for ! The fight for Three Rivers and the supernatural world is on and Kane and his cohort Simon are proving to be trickier than anyone thought. All the characters from the previous books are here and we get mind blowing information about characters that changes how everything and everyone looks at the war Kane has started. Annabella’s witch magic combined with her shifter side is stronger than anyone predicted and when Esme shows her how to harness it, total game changer. Lot’s of heat between Sam and Bella too ! I loved how the author finished this story and left a bit of an opening for a side series to boot ! 5✨’s for a well written, engaging story with characters that speak to you.
