In this book, I share my allotment diary—an intimate record of my daily experiences as a kitchen gardener. It captures the rhythm of each month, as I embrace the seasons by planting, sowing, and harvesting the food we grow. Alongside these seasonal rhythms, I include over 100 of my favourite recipes, celebrating the bounty of our harvest. Yet, unnoticed, time slips by, and before I realise it, another year has passed. However, it’s not just 12 months gone, but 12 years—years in which my children have grown up, and our garden has become a cherished part of our lives and the central part of family memories.
