William Tell: A Tommy Keane Novel

Rate this book
A young woman is dead, lying on the landing of her walk-up tenement building in front of her apartment. Strikingly beautiful, her big blue eyes still open, staring lifelessly up at the ceiling above with an arrow protruding from her throat.

A brutal and strange crime scene, but only the beginning of one of the most brutal cases of Tommy's career.

I can hardly believe this is already the 6th book in the Tommy Keane series. I have been reading these books since 2020 and was so excited to see there's another book on the way!!

This sibling duo writes the best true crime influenced stories. William Tell may just be my new favourite of the series. It was SO GOOD!!

The cat and mouse game was thrilling! I love a fast paced read and this book absolutely delivered. As always a fantastic cast of characters, homicides that will make your jaw drop and a satisfying conclusion.

If you are a crime fan you NEED to read this series! You will not be disappointed.

My thanks to Bully Press for my gifted copy. I can't wait to see where the next story takes us!

YES YES YES!
So yes, I loved the new addition to the Tommy Keane series!
Tommy has become my go-to hero/book crush ever since I opened Sister Margaret back in 2020, and each new book has pulled me a little deeper into his world.
William Tell; book number six of the series does not disappoint in any way it is 100% of what those of us that follow the series wait months for between editions.

This again is a hectic, fast paced page turner, loaded with murder, just enough sex and so many surprises, especially shall I say the relentless ending? I'm not sure how to describe it, but it was good, and I'll leave it at that.

I really would love to do some spoilers here, but I won't, as I'd really love to discuss this one, but I won't, instead I'll drop 5 stars.

And tell you that if you like crime novels get into this series!
They are short, tough, hard-hitting reads that definitely satisfy!

Tommy Keane is back!

If you are a fan of crime novels/police procedurals/kick ass sexy detectives, and all of these things wrapped up together, I absolutely do recommend this series.

William Tell is the sixth book of the series, I have read them all so far and loved each and every one!

In This one our hero Tommy has more than one homicide to contend with, and very little time to catch a vengeful killer who is on a rampage all over New York City!

Tommy uses all his neighborhood connections and runs himself ragged trying to find this murderer, the end is perfect for a Keane novel, as it's another one where you're left angry for days after you put it down. (Current fans of this series will understand.)

I recommend this book, but more so this entire series, and stick with it, it's well worth the ride!

The Authors crush it this time!!

I have read all the books in the Tommy Keane series, and have really enjoyed them all, in fact it's one of the few book series or books period I comment on here on good reads because of my extreme laziness.
That being said I always manage to write in about Detective Keane, as I think it one of the best and most underrated crime series published today.
William Tell is in true Tommy Keane fashion and absolute page turner, with multiple homicides to contend with members of the 2-1 Squad join a task force to track down a prolific, and very elusive killer who leaves zero clues and not only has an agenda but has an actual list of future victims!
All of our favorite occasional characters join in - Terry Calahan, Roya, and Gil Nunez.
This is crime for the crime fan!
Loved it!!

If you are a crime fan, I definitely recommend this series, and although each one could be read as a stand-alone, start from the beginning with book #1, you'll be happy you did!

William Tell is the 6th book in the Tommy Keane series which has become possibly my favorite detective series of all?

In this edition Tommy Keane and his squad are tasked with solving a series of murders of young women, all in all it's a fast paced read as we move from victim to victim and Tommy tries desperately to find the killer, using some questionable methods and people along the way to help him.

The ending of this one is a bit of a surprise, and a bit of a indictment of the U.S. justice system.

Looking forward to Tommy's next case!
