Nicole Jordan, a new resident of Johnson County, Virginia, is determined not to follow in her mother’s footsteps. She has her mind set on culinary school and she’s determined not to let anything get her off path. Her world changes drastically when she meets Andrew Corvos. Though she normally wouldn’t have given him the time of day, she took an interest in him after he saved her from being assaulted in a bar. She quickly finds herself head over heels for him, but because he’s rich and the star of the basketball team, she’s in no rush to make their relationship public.
Andrew, on the other hand, wants everyone to know about their relationship, including Tiffany - the girl he’s expected to marry. His father’s threats of cutting him from the family’s business if he doesn’t marry Tiffany keeps him up at night. Yet, he still can’t deny his feelings for Nicole. She’s the one he wants to marry. It isn’t too long before unexpected complications force Andrew to decide between love and stability. He must choose between securing his business or maintaining his happiness.

Surprisingly this book was good! I’ve read a few teenage love books and was disappointed! This book has been in my library for about two months and I decided to give it a shot and I’m glad I did! The book flowed nicely and at times I forgot I was reading about teenagers! Great job Author! Hopefully I can find book 2
This was a cute young adult book. I loved the maturity of Andrew and how he truly cared for Nicole. Definitely wasn’t expecting the chaotic ending but I hope they find a way to push through and be happy together.
