This book began with one visual: a snowstorm, a lingerie van, and a man with a beard that deserved its own fan club. From that spark came Ruby Garland. She's young, curvy, and determined to make her small town lingerie and intimacy brand Sugarplum Secrets a success. Enter Beckett Tinderwolf (Schmidt), the gruff snowmobile mechanic with a YouTube channel and zero patience for company.
What made me fall in love with these two is how they disarmed each other. Ruby represents warmth, laughter, and self-expression -- the kind of woman who can talk about satin ribbons one minute and appreciate survival gear the next. Beckett is all solitude and steel until she crashes (literally) into his world. He’s a fixer by nature, but Ruby’s the first person who doesn’t want him to fix her.
The cabin scenes were some of my favorite to write: the crackle of the fire, the tension between them growing like static electricity, the humor that slips through even in their most charged moments. And yes, the snowmobile ride scene? That’s the one where Beckett stops being the mountain’s toughest man and starts being Ruby’s softest place to land.
At its heart, Naughty With the Mountain Man is about more than forced proximity. It’s about rediscovering play, pleasure, and trust when life’s gotten a little too serious. Ruby teaches Beckett to open his world again. He teaches her that sometimes strength isn’t about independence, but about choosing who gets to stand beside you in the storm.

Ruby, never thinking straight left and drove up the mountain in just a tank top and shorts. She had to get to town to pick up her merchandise for her shot. She wasn’t thinking when she drove into the mountains. An unexpected snowstorm hits she starts going slower can’t see out the front windshield very well and then a deer jumps out and she crashes. The van won’t go engine is off and she starts to get cold so she breaks into her shops merchandise and find a Santa Claus outfit. Beckett, out on his trail cam adventure to post for his channel comes upon Ruby Stuck in her broke down van against the snowbank. He takes her back to his cabin, and they’re stranded there during the snowstorm. He and his dog Ranger, who makes up to her right away like she belongs in a matter what. This is not Christmas either of them expected, but they both enjoyed it. Beckett’s instructional videos on how to survive in the wilderness end up showing off Ruby’s Santa Claus panties. Causing a crazy stir on his very professional wilderness channel; Ruby post the link to her site, saying that she’s been saved by the Survivorman. This causes both her sites and his channel to draw huge crowds and get more followers and give Ruby the boost she needed in her business.

Ruby was really happy when Beckett rescued her from her dire situation, but she never expected him to also offer her shelter during the snowstorm. Beckett was happy living by himself doing his survival video, but everything changed after he rescued Ruby and they spent time together. However, a faux pax occurred whilst Beckett was recording his videos and it involved Ruby, to them working together to make his video more interesting.
Spending time together in close quarters heightened the tension between Ruby and Beckett, which turned longing looks, stolen kisses and innocent touches into a Mrs Claus stripping session and then a pleasure filled encounter exploring the use of toys. Ruby and Beckett finally acknowledge their feelings foe each other after their encounter and turn an unexpected rescue situation into a chance at a happy future. I really enjoyed reading this festive romance story with wonderful characters, a heartwarming storyline and no drama, that drew me in from the beginning all the way to the end. This is a definite must read book.

A steamy tale that starts as a stranded in the snowstorm and turns into a love to last a lifetime. It's got plenty of humor, lots of steamy scenes, and a grump who deep down in a teddy bear at heart.
I think that the four chapter bonus epilogue should have been part of the original story and that would have given readers closure for the whole story at once. Not everyone signs up for bonus stories and sadly they'd be missing out on a lot of the story that I thought gave it the perfect ending.

I'm on my way to Sugarplum Secrets now!
A fantastic festive read packed with candy canes, Christmas chaos and sexy Santa gifts. Ruby is hilarious, sweet, sexy, ditzy yet smart and very, very likable.
Beckett thinks he wants solitude and silence, until Ruby crashes into his world. He then realises he was just waiting for her and what he actually craves is her laughter, her moans of pleasure, her chaos and her joy. She doesn't have to steal his heart, he happily hands it over as he embraces every part of being "them" instead of just "him".
I love this book, the characters and the slightly crazy chaos that follows Ruby everywhere. A fantastic read on Kindle Unlimited.

This couple cracked me up from the get go. Ruby is a bundle of energy and constant motion. Conversely, Beckett is all quiet authority and intention. This quick read is stuffed with quirky little moments that made me chuckle and laugh out loud. Their dynamics and banter were engaging and realistic, just like the characters themselves. An easy story to read, though much (much) to short IMHO, you'll fall head over heels for this couple in no time.

Did someone say strip? A flirty, fun, and steamy read with “sexual tension to the max” where all your wildest desires occur after you get stuck in a snowstorm. Ruby, who owns a lingerie shop, Sugarplum Secrets, gets rescued by Beckett and the fireplace isn’t the only thing giving off heat. But I loved that they took time to get to know each other before clothing is removed along with inhibitions. And you know the benefits of owning your own business (you get to sample the merch😉). Throw in a big, cuddly dog and I was a goner(sigh ❤️).

Hilarious!! Hilarious!! During a snowstorm, Ruby crashes her lingerie van. When the handsome snowmobile mechanic comes upon her van, the sparks begin. With the storm increasing, they are forced to wait it out in his cabin. The banter and flirting begin and never ends. Beckett is a survivalist having his own video channel and when Ruby appears on his video, his fan club goes crazy wanting more. As the bantering and temptation continues, will love prevail leading to a HEA? Love the banter between the characters and the chemistry was spicy and steamy. If you want a good laugh, this book is for you.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. This one was funny and oh so cute. Ruby Garland is stocking up her shop, Sugarplum Secrets, for Christmas. Her store does good business during the Christmas season. She was coming down from the mountains when a deer darted in front of her. Now she is stuck in a ditch hoping someone will come along and help her.
Beckett Schmidt to the rescue. Beckett came across Ruby and brought her and several of her store items back to his cabin to wait out the storm. Beckett is a pretty popular with his tips and tricks. After uploading a video, the viewers notice some unmentionables behind him. They blow up. Not only Beckett's videos. Everybody wants to know who Beckett has with him. Then they do a video together and it's all over from there. The fans see the chemistry. Maybe Beckett has found a reason to come down off the mountain. This snow storm might have been the best for both Beckett and Ruby. I love how fun these two are together. Ms. Nicks created a scene in a movie with this one. I felt like I watching a show. Everything was so vivid. I really like both Beckett and Ruby. Great couple.

Ruby was not your usual business woman. She was fun, and easy going. Her personality worked for her product line. Putting people at ease with sexy, playful lingerie, and asking questions about sex toys. Her timing wasn't great, being on the road in the beginning of a snow storm, but then again it put her close enough to Beckett, that he was able to save her, and her inventory from her shop Van. Spending the night with a big, hot Mountain man, was kind of a sexy dream, but the snow kept coming down. So she got another night. He told her, and showed her his internet persona, and had her film a clip with him. Suddenly he's getting an avalanche of e mails about her, and a forgotten item from her van that's seen on the clip he posted. They get to really talk, and they can't deny the attraction, and take the time to explore them. I can't wait to read the bonus epilogue! Great HEA ending! Trish.A.

This was a very sweet story. Beautiful romance and not obscene. The characters were all worked well together. Laced with love and humor.

Ruby is stranded at the side of a mountain road with some of the supplies from her lingerie shop, and Beckett comes to her rescue, just as a storm is approaching. He is a bit of a recluse but then he is also a YouTuber and very adept at social media. Ruby creates a little bit of sensation on Beckett's YT channel, and after much (delicious) slow burn, they finally let their walls down.
This was a short and very easy read which was sweet and swoony. Both characters were more interesting and developed than the usual (that story about Beckett's ex! Oh my heart...), so I felt the typical stranded-woman-rescued-by-mountain-man story had a lot more depth to it. Also don't miss the free bonus chapters!
The story is also part of the Log Cabin Christmas Multi-Author Series, and I'm looking forward to reading more from this series. I'm also new-ish to the author and really enjoyed the books that I've read from her so far! I will definitely be reading more!.

When she accidentally crashes her van and a snowstorm, the last thing she expects is to be rescued by a huge mountain man on a snowmobile. He takes her back to his cabin to wait out the storm. The only things she has with her are some inventory from her lingerie store. There is definitely some humor and some spice as their time unfolds. He is used to being alone and thinks he likes it that way until he meets her. This one manages to be cute spicy funny, and have a happily ever after. The characters are good and easy to invest in and while this is a short story format, you get enough character, development, and plot depth to feel like you have a complete and satisfying story.

This was a fun and steamy grumpy/sunshine romance that brings together a curvy girl and a reclusive mountain man. Ruby and Beckett get snowed in together after a crash and what follows is a shock to both ;) Neither of these two were looking for love but with flirty banter and fireside tension, their forced proximity opened the doors to a wonderful future. Expect to get caught up in the drama, emotions, playfulness and hot romance as these two engaging characters work their way to a fab HEA. Good fun!

This was so freaking adorable!!!! Naughty fun with Santa mountain man and toys never sounded so good😍!!! There was a brief mention of a history of baby loss which was obviously sad but not dwelled on too much so I was able to go on…But mind your triggers, it is off page…

It was never meant to be only a snowstorm fling - their attraction is magnificent and there was definitely Universe's hand in stranding Ruby with her Mountain Man Beckett during snowstorm.
Mountain survivalist channel owner and Sugarplums Secrets owner and their stepping into each others businesses. Enjoyed it - it was funny and entertaining, so well written.

A highly entertaining romance, exactly what I expect from Opal Nicks. Beckett is a podcaster about survival and Ruby has an adult toy shop who crashes on the mountain road in a snow storm. This story has all the elements to make this a must-read.

This story is not only steamy (especially toward the end) but also laugh-out-loud funny. There’s a scene with Beckett’s dog, Ranger, getting into Ruby’s merchandise that had me in stitches. I loved how playful the story was with her products, and I honestly wish it had gone on longer.

Log Cabin Christmas story of Ruby and Beckett. OMG I laughed so much with these two and the crazy antics of the dog. I loved this sweet romance and didn’t want it to end.
