I love this series, but all read perfectly as standalones. These are perfect reads for young girls. Beautifully illustrated throughout. An adventure under the sea with one of our favourite characters Isadora. At the back of the book is plenty of activities, recipes and things to do. Highly recommend. A well deserved four stars.

Isadora is invited to her mermaid friend Marina’s birthday sleepover but Isadora is nervous she doesn’t like being away from home. But she soon finds every mer-person at the sleepover is nice… well except Emerald. She soon figures out what’s wrong with her and sees the nice side of Emerald.

I loved the introduction to Emerald, I already read a few of her books but didn’t read this one before so it was nice seeing what Emerald was like. I felt so sad for her with all the things in her life being strange, new and difficult for her. I loved how kind Isadora was though even though she’d had a bad first impression, she was still kind and caring and looked after Emerald.

An honestly really super sweet book, I really loved reading about Isadora going under the sea and spending time with some new Mer-friends and seeing what her experience of the world below was like.

I loved the illustrations in this one so many full page illustrations and it was nice seeing the mix of Isadora’s world and the underwater world together. I really liked this one and it was a sweet story with sweet characters and a nice turn of events with seeing exactly why Emerald was so sad.

Aanrader!

Really cute story. Very creative.

The characters are unique but cute and have problems that are very relatable by children of the intended age.

Great books for 8-10 year olds or an older child who might want to pick up something light and fun.

I enjoyed this book because Isadora Moon helps one of her friends' sisters pet.
