Savannah Grey is trying to move forward. After everything she’s been through—the loss, the trauma, the things no one talks about—she’s learning how to live again. But it’s not easy. Not when each day feels like a performance, like she’s pretending to be okay when she’s anything but. The weight of her past clings to her shoulders, and some wounds don’t heal just because time has passed.
The only thing that still feels real is Archie Bennett.
Archie has been her constant. The quiet presence beside her chaos. He’s been there from the start—steady, unshakable, and impossibly patient. He never demands more than she can give, never asks her to be someone she’s not. He just… shows up. Over and over again. Even when she tries to push him away.
Now, with the worst behind her, Savannah is finally starting to ask the hard Who is she without the pain? What does she actually want? And could Archie be a part of the future she's only just beginning to imagine?
But healing isn’t a straight path. It’s messy, painful, and unpredictable. Just because you’ve survived doesn’t mean you’re ready to let someone in. And just because you love someone doesn’t mean love is enough to keep you both from breaking.
This is a story of love and slow healing. Of two people trying to rebuild—together. Of everything they’ve already lost… and everything they still might gain.
Some parts of this book I actually enjoyed. The parts that didn’t feel like they were copied from another book. I feel like if you went more into detail about Archie’s past and his love for basketball, as well Sav’s relationship with her birth parents. I also enjoyed the court scene because it felt intense and actually interesting. If you developed these storylines more than some of the others, I would have enjoyed this way more. Instead I felt like it tried too hard to be boys of Tommen and at times felt like specific scenes were being copied to fit your story. One specific time in particular is the scene at the dance. Liv’s dress and the way you described it with the movie is literally a line taken out of taming 7. I also want to say that having Izzie have bipolar disorder felt like a direct copy to BOT. I also think that if you did a little more research into Bipolar disorder, she could’ve felt more real and less flat. It just kind of felt like a generalization of bipolar but, I mean it could’ve been purposefully written that way because lack of Savs knowledge. Finally, I just want to mention the time setting. It didn’t need to be set in 2004. It just felt like there was no actual need for it. In BOT it made sense because of all the references that were made. In this book, it just felt like you did it for the sake of doing it. Not to mention you forgot multiple times by having characters scroll on their phones, or the use of Siri. You could’ve just set this in today’s time and had it be a modern day story. All this being said, be proud that you wrote and published three novels at a young age. I cannot say that about myself. Instead I do this. But I still can’t wait to watch you improve and grow 😊

it gave "write the boys of tommen series but change it so the teacher doesn't notice".
like I tried to ignore the similarities, things in life happen and it could be accidental. but like....each of these characters share trauma. the main couple has the same song.
I love the writing, but would've loved it if it was an all original idea.
I actually did really enjoy this book but it’s hard to give it a better rating when it’s a complete copy of boys of Tommon…. I mean even the names Thoe and Izzie vs Thor and Lizzie ? Painful the author did not even try to make it not plagiarism
The only storyline that was not ripped out of boys of tommon was the adoption story line and it was wrapped up with out a very good explanation, maybe that can get fixed in a future book
I REALLY REALLY loved this this book!! 6 stars! It was so good I loved every thing about it and the way it felt like it was a real couple. The only thing I noticed was that when savs brother and her talked about almost fucking Archie he said you could talk to anyone and he mentioned Siri what is not possible if it was created in 2010. I just noticed and wanted to point it out. I LOVED this book with my whole heart and I can’t wait to read the next books that are coming out!
