Justice Bloodmoon thought she knew everything there was to know about vampires and the supernatural. So, when tests confirm Zac Creature is much more than just a vampire, it forces their relationship into new uncharted territory.
Then, when Yuri’s pleas for help bleed into Justice’s dreams, she realizes Malachi might be weaker now, but he is far from gone. Bound by an ancient curse and haunted by shadows of his past, Yuri begs Justice for help to exorcise the demon before it forces him to kill again.
Briar’s magic is just one of the keys required to help unlock the power to defeat Malachi. Only by merging their magical abilities with help from the Blood Moon, and the combined powers of the Athena and the Phantom Disc, can they finally attempt to release Malachi’s grip on Yuri’s soul.
But, as always, victory comes at a heavy price, and trying to save Yuri could mean destroying him too. If they fail—Malachi won’t just take Yuri down with him—he’ll do whatever it takes to burn down everyone and everything Justice has left to fight for.

And so here we are at the conclusion of the Bloodmoon & Creature Trilogy. I love Lara Bruni’s writing and I have fallen in love with every book that she’s written. And Shadows in Blood is no different. I have loved every book in this trilogy and while I’m sad that this series is over, I’m not sad that I got the chance to read it.
Lara did such a stunning job with the storyline, the plot, and the subplot. You can tell that the storyline, plot and subplot was strung through the entire series and it was thought out and planned and it was executed perfectly.
I absolutely loved the characters. Lara did a fantastic job with the character development, she fleshed out each of the characters, ensured that the characters had the room to grow and develop through the series and they were given these incredible character arcs through each of the books.
Even the secondary characters were given fantastic character arcs, they were fleshed out, they had their own personalities and they were they for a purpose and they helped to ensure that the story moved forward with purpose and didn’t move backwards or stagnate.
If you haven’t started this series yet then you really need to get on it and start with book one and start this series ASAP or at least get it on your TBR. This is a fantastic series. The writing is stunning and the storyline is one that you’ll remember and you’re going to want to re-read this series after you have finished it.
