Part of the Scorched Collection (see end of story for more details)
Corporate executive Amanda escapes her stressful job by retreating to her beloved garden each evening. When she saves a tiny green frog from a predator's claws, she thinks nothing of the gentle kiss she presses to his tiny head. But gratitude takes many forms, and some debts can only be repaid in the most intimate ways.
Very short, took maybe 20 minutes to read, but I'd like those 20 minutes back please. Written well enough & I'm super happy for anyone who's skeeze this is exactly, but it is emphatically not for me. Some specific NSFW sass below the spoiler jump to protect the innocent:
In all, an insane time, and exactly the reason I still pay for Kindle unlimited.
I’ve found that even though I’m not into frogs or lizards, I absolutely love Adrian blues writing style. The detail is always amazing. I’ve decided to read all of the books that Adrian blue has published, that I’m able to find. So far, I’ve read all of the Christmas themed ones and a few others. There’s so many that I’ve absolutely loved and some that I’ve just enjoyed because it’s this author.
Don’t know what I expected but I didn’t like it. No penis action, just fingering, and no HEA.
Monster (frog man water spirit). 42 year old corporate woman who gardens. “I owe you my life”. No romance. No penis? No OMD/OWD/cheating/breakup. No epilogue. No pregnancy.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
If you want a quick story here you go. If you want magic here it is. The only difference I had is the frog remained in frog form, but upright, like the cover instead of changing into humanoid form.
