I had the pleasure of taking some of Ryan's poetry classes at Clemson. And I had read some of his stuff before, but not a whole book. I enjoyed this book, and read it quickly (a good sign!). Most of the poems in this book focus on his family and stories from growing up (some of which made me squirm.) I enjoy the fast-paced style of his writing.
